End of week 27, and another 1lb off. I'm now exactly 10 stone. And that’s with two Christmas Dinners and a Christmas party 🥴. I was hoping for a Christmas gift that began with a 9, but since my original target was half a stone ago, I'm still so happy!

SW 13st 7lb BMI 36.9
CW 10st BMI 27.3
Total loss 49lb (26% of my body weight!)

Going by BMI, I've got 13lb to lose to be healthy, so let's see. I've got two doses left of 10mg, I'm not sure what to do next.

AutumnStorms11 · 21/12/2024 11:55

Hope you feel better soon @coffeeandteav

i jabbed 2.5 day early here so that my feeling cold days are sun& Mon and I can relax at in-laws Tues/Wed and not worry about food too much. It’s really life changing not feeling stressed about where my next meal is coming from and if I’ll get hungry waiting. I love my mil but she’s very fit size 8 most of her life and I used to pack extra biscuits when we visited before now I’m not fussed at all. I love feeling like this and I’m really working hard to reset my head to food=fuel nothing else but it’s hard to unravel 40+years of emotional eating.

daffodilandtulip · 21/12/2024 12:54

@AutumnStorms11 I've found having other treats to focus on is helping to reset. I don't need a chocolate bar as a treat for a hard day at work. I can treat myself in better ways.

Buying nice things like perfume that make me feel good, and obv new clothes at the moment! Or something nice for the house to help you to feel nice at home.

daffodilandtulip · 22/12/2024 15:01

Someone told me "you're looking super tiny lately" today 👏🏻 🙌🏼

AutumnStorms11 · 22/12/2024 20:32

I need a new swimming costume tried mine on earlier as I’d not been for a pool swim for a few months (just done sea stuff) and my size 42s way too baggy and gappy now. Think I may need a size 36 now whoop!

LionAndEmperor13 · 24/12/2024 12:39

same! I tried on a swimsuit that previously made me look like a squished sausage. Now the tummy control bit is all baggy and weird-looking! Time for a new one. Also sports bras aren't supportive any more, they're just all way too big. I love it!

Merryoldgoat · 25/12/2024 14:24

Merry Christmas MJ queens!!

Today I truly cannot believe the difference in my food habits.

I’ve had a bit of chocolate, a cup of tea and I’m looking forward to dinner.

Evert year I can remember I’m already feeling sick and ashamed of my lack of self control.

I hope you’re all having a lovely day ❤️

AutumnStorms11 · 25/12/2024 14:29

Merry Xmas all hope your all managing to enjoy and it’s lovely not feeling stuffed or sick from too much sugar

Megarea · 26/12/2024 12:33

Fourth dose of third 10mg pen today.
SW 252.6 lb
CW 200.2 lb
Total loss: 52.4 lbs

I did get down to 198 lbs on Christmas Eve but a rather carby Christmas Day has brought me up again. Ah well never mind, getting back to routine now, I know the weight will start coming off again.

daffodilandtulip · 26/12/2024 20:07

It has been lovely to taste some nice food, and not end up feeling sick, or feeling like you don't want to see food again. I've had what I wanted, but had it and that's been it, not had it and thought hmm what's next.

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 26/12/2024 21:39

Did my week 27 weigh in yesterday (a day early) as I knew it wouldn’t be good this morning and would piss me off! Basically lost half a lb but as I only record in whole pounds, I’ve put it down as a stayed the same.

Missed out on my aim of being overweight by Christmas but will probably be there for new year - only one pound to go!

Started yesterday with blinis and bucks fizz and had some crisps and hummus followed by Christmas dinner which wasn’t huge. Did eat too many Heroes and drank most of a bottle of Prosecco over the course of the day though and was so bloated at bedtime I was quite uncomfortable😫 Delayed jab to this morning so I wasn’t stuck full up for today. Very full tonight and feeling a bit sick after bubble and a small slice of chocolate log. Roll on normality!

Greyrockin · 27/12/2024 07:46

Weigh in day for me today and i was apprehensive as I'm one of those who's still carried on eating treats when I want to (just less than i used to) and I've had lots of chocolate over the past week. Anyway, I've still lost 0.2lb! Can't quite believe that.

I move on to 7.5 pen today. I've done 3 months on 2.5 and 3 on 5 and lost 2st 9.2lb so far. I'm deliberately taking it slowly. BMI is now 25.3 and I've another 1st 2.4lb to get to target.

On my way to M&S sale now for new jeans and undies 😊

Same here. Jabs are usually on Saturdays so it was great to not feel icky on Xmas day (although this is now better after staying on 10mg). Hi get back for sure, but portion sizes are still reasonable and whilst I enjoyed some treats, it hadn't been overblown.

Haven't weighed for a few days though, expect a small gain but that's fine by me.

Sewfrickinamazeballs · 27/12/2024 17:04

@Greyrockin that's great, a loss over Xmas!

I’ve put on a pound, but my partying was all last week. Now Christmas is done, I’ve done all my meals and events so I’m back to normal. Although I’m still off work for a week so need to make the effort to be active, as that makes the main difference I find.

daffodilandtulip · 28/12/2024 15:00

Sale shopping today. Oh my word, HOW GOOD is it to buy small sized clothes that fit? HOW GOOD is it to feel happy standing in a room of mirrors? Oh and even better, I clearly have no idea what I look like, as I had to keep sending DD out to fetch a smaller size. I've brought some XS, what's that about?!

LionAndEmperor13 · 28/12/2024 17:50

It's really odd though - after years of only doing clothes shopping online, and then sending most things back, now that I can finally go into a shop and buy a size 12 (or even 10!!) I'm feeling that I just don't really want to!! Really thought it would be the opposite.
Having said that, I pretty much have a whole new (old) wardrobe, as I can fit into so many of my smaller clothes now which I kept from years ago. I have too many things to wear, not enough time!
Not weighing myself at all over Christmas - I'll do a weigh-in at the gym when it reopens in January and if need be I'll get back on track.

AutumnStorms11 · 29/12/2024 07:15

Yesterday I cleared out my wardrobe creating a black bin bag of size 18-20 lots of t-shirts mostly navy shapeless ones but did keep some of my smart work trousers and put them into a box. I really don’t want to go back to that person but just seeing how tempted I was by all the extra chocolate in the house was a reminder of how easy without MJ it would be to slip back. At the moment I get a metallic taste in my mouth and feel sick half hour later if I eat too much sugar so I’ve avoided a lot this festive season but I’m keen to get rid of all the temptations that are still in the house! Made veg soup for lunch and had tuna salad for dinner which I enjoyed yesterday after a couple of days of richer foods. How’s everyone doing with handling family comments “ooh you have shrunk…want some cake..” my immediate family have said Nothing! But in-laws all wow you have changed..

Ineffable23 · 29/12/2024 10:06

On continuing on my no-MJ journey and still compelling myself to keeping checking my weight as that is usually what kills me off.

2lb gained over Christmas. But that's actually only 1lb more over where I stopped the MJ as I had slowly slowly whittled my way down another lb after stopping.

Not optimal but not a catastrohe. I am definitely much hungrier again now I am off the MJ. Currently still eating up loads of Christmas leftovers so need to moderate that and see where I am at the start of Jan.

Best of luck to everyone else carefully managing Christmas and congratulations to everyone enjoying some sale shopping in a smaller size than before!

A bit annoyed today as I tried to switch providers to save some money, but they won’t accept the email order from MedExpress and I don’t have the label the last one came with.

Impossiblyme · 30/12/2024 17:50

I’ve not posted on here before, but started 2nd June and have been following all of your wonderful stories of progress. I’ve lost over 4 stone and my BMI has gone from 37 to 27 with another 1 1/2 stone to go.

It’s changed my life, how I feel about my health, my looks, my confidence. I am pain free. I don’t have chronic breathing issues anymore and my heart rate is so much calmer.

I would never have even known where to start without the wonderful support from the members here. I’m menopausal and have had PCOS for over 30 years. I never thought this would be possible for me at this stage in my life.

So here’s a very early Happy New Year to all of you on this thread and on all the others in this board. I hope that 2025 is the year where you reach your well earned goals, and keep it up with the fabulous updates. You’re an inspiration.

Merryoldgoat · 30/12/2024 18:21

Who is the cheapest provider for 15mg? I’m looking to switch as I’m using one of the most expensive.

Snozzlemaid · 30/12/2024 20:19

Looks like it's ESurgery at the moment https://monj.co.uk/discount-mounjaro-price-list/

Merryoldgoat · 30/12/2024 20:25

Thanks @Snozzlemaid

Have you tried taking a screenshot of your MedExpress order history as proof? Go to Your Account / Order History and your orders should be listed along with your name and address.

Edited to add that this worked for me when I changed providers.
