Ladies my week off and eating more carbs enjoying a run then re-start yesterday has resulted in 2lbs off in 48hrs and a NINE yes a 9 on the scales!! Not seen one of those for 35yrs whoop. I’m just gob smacked tbh.

(Still bmi over 25 as being short is a pain)

JomonotFomo · 24/11/2024 09:53

Amazing @AutumnStorms11

@AutumnStorms11 a 9?!! Wow, well done!!

As a fellow shortarse, I feel your pain!!

Have a bit of an upset stomach at the moment but am sure it is antibiotics rather than MJ!

daffodilandtulip · 26/11/2024 06:48

@TheShellBeach amazing! Well done!

@Callmejudith I had chips for the first time at the weekend, I'm not generally a fan of fast food so only have them once in a blue moon anyway. Oh my stomach! I was in so much pain yesterday and didn't sleep for two nights.

Callmejudith · 26/11/2024 15:26

Eeeek last ever injection just done! I was laughing to myself about how terrified I was to do the first one and now I just don't think about it AND the fact that now I actually have to pinch my skin and properly look down rather than my belly just being there ready for the taking.

Ooh how exciting.
Stay with us on the thread, to tell us how you get on without it.

AutumnStorms11 · 26/11/2024 18:28

Ooh @Callmejudith good luck such a milestone I hope you stick around we are all on such a journey.

i treated myself to a nice jumper dress this week and it’s been lovely feeling comfortable wearing it. I stopped wearing nice clothes last year as I felt such a blob.

Callmejudith · 26/11/2024 18:33

I’m definitely sticking around!

Sewfrickinamazeballs · 26/11/2024 20:13

@AutumnStorms11 bloody amazing

@TheShellBeach what an achievement!

@Callmejudith wow, last jab. So looking forward to hearing how you get on.

I had a few comments on the weekend (finally!). I also need to go shopping again soon, clothes literally hanging off me now (yay!).

TheShellBeach · 27/11/2024 11:45

It's a good job @Callmejudith advised me to get the size 14 jeans.......... because they now fit me.

🤣

TheShellBeach · 27/11/2024 11:47

And I got a size 16 coat on Ebay because last year's size 20 is now far too big.

The size 16 is slightly too large, but only just. And it was £6 second-hand, so I'm happy.

LionAndEmperor13 · 27/11/2024 12:33

Great losses everyone, and exciting news @Callmejudith !
I'm now two jabs away from my final one and actually quite excited to be going it alone and testing my willpower and shiny new habits.
Wow the loss is SO slow now! But I've lost 45lbs in total so I'm pleased with that!
Just 3lbs off goal weight now. Lots of people noticing - even my kids' dentist said 'ooh you look nice!' ! 😀
(She then kind of back tracked and said 'I really like your coat' as I think she was a bit embarrassed to be commenting on my looks. But I knew what she meant!)
I'm doing a 10k race this weekend, not something I could have done back in June...
