I've just realised that I lost 84lb in 48 weeks.

TheShellBeach · 27/11/2024 15:09

Only 56lb to go!
I should have managed that by next June.......... just in time to go on our holiday.

Sewfrickinamazeballs · 28/11/2024 07:29

Weigh day today (jab day has shifted to Fridays).

Currently (and I can't believe this) weigh 12st 11.7. I don't think I have ever seen a 12 on the scale before!

3.4 loss this week, 4 stone 8.3 in total so far.

Megarea · 28/11/2024 07:43

Bonus dose of second 10mg pen today.
SW 252.6 lb
CW 205.2 lb
Total loss: 47.4 lbs
Again a loss of just less than a pound though the scales did dip to 204.2 yesterday so might have another whoosh soon. Must just keep thinking tortoise not hare!

Still on track my mini-goal of 200lbs or less by end of December.

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 28/11/2024 08:58

Well done everyone! @Callmejudith @LionAndEmperor13 can't wait to hear how you get on!

Weigh in week 23 today and I’m down another 3 lbs. Am mildly annoyed as it's a pound up on the last couple of days but, heh, it is what it is.

Fast 800 SW: 17 st 7lbs
MJ SW: 16st 12lbs
CW: 12st 4lbs

If memory serves me, I think I was this weight when I got married 32 years ago...

Callmejudith · 28/11/2024 09:16

KLAXON: I am wearing size 12 trousers. Can't quite believe it!

AutumnStorms11 · 28/11/2024 21:46

@Callmejudith thats awesome

Your doing great @Megarea and @IReallyNeedThisToWork well done.

interesting few days I’ve felt rather hungry and wanted more sugar again. I had stopped logging all my food on MFP as after 5months of doing it daily it was getting tedious but my head still can’t workout whether I’ve eaten too much or not enough so I think I need to keep logging again. I’ve slipped back into eating more carbs and less protein and it’s really impacting what I’m craving again. Today I got to 4pm really hungry forgetting I’d had a run this morning as work was busy ended up eating extras at 8pm which I had stopped doing to get a 14hr+ fast in but then just realised my garmin reckons I’ve used 2200 calories so I think I was just hungry but then I felt guilty & worried ugghhh. Years of overeating really messes with your head and I do so love the smaller lighter me I’d hate to lose it again.

Don't you find that with Mounjaro you can just think "Oh that's not far off, I'll get there" whereas with a normal diet it would seem insurmountable and mentally you'd just either write off the diet or think that the next several months would be utter crap?

TheShellBeach · 28/11/2024 23:49

Yes, I'm quite sure that is exactly my thought process now.

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 29/11/2024 14:18

My quest for the 11s has taken a detour! 😩

My scales are 3lbs up in 48 hours🤦‍♀️ Dulcoease now taken…

Well, I had a goal for Christmas.

It was to reach 14st.

I reached that today, with over three weeks to go.

Unbelievable. I'm 14st!

JomonotFomo · 30/11/2024 07:55

That’s brilliant @TheShellBeach

Ive lost 1lb this week bringing me to 11st 9.

daffodilandtulip · 30/11/2024 08:27

Continuing my 1lb a week run this week, bringing my total to 3st 2lb in 24 weeks. 23% of my body weight!

SW 13st 7lb BMI 36.9
CW 10st 5lb BMI 28.2

Still a depressingly high BMI but I've noticed this week my thighs don't rub together anymore...can't wait for the summer with that one!! Sticking with 10mg this month, thinking that may get me down to 10st, before I decide what to do re maintenance/stopping. If I can stay at 10st forever, I'll be so happy.

Meeting daughter today for the first time since uni in Sept. She’d better bloody notice 🤣

coffeeandteav · 30/11/2024 10:06

I have 2 pens in the fridge. I really don't know what to do. I don't think I can cope with anymore wretching and actually throwing up the first 3 days of the week.

I do want to lose 2 more stones though.

Callmejudith · 30/11/2024 10:08

@TheShellBeach thats brilliant!

@daffodilandtulip wear something fitted to meet your daughter and if she doesn’t notice then send her to me for a talking to!

@coffeeandteav great losses but must be so difficult with the side effects. You already tried micro dosing didn’t you? Sorry can’t quite remember

I’m definitely sticking around!

Please do. I am so interested in how you get on.

spottydogsarethebest · 30/11/2024 10:42

What dose are you all on?

I started 7th June, still on 7.5mg, undecided whether to move up to 10...noticing I'm fairly hungry this last couple of weeks but I'm still losing weight, do I just stick it out on 7.5 for a while longer while I'm still losing?

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 30/11/2024 12:40

@daffodilandtulip I would disagree re your bmi being depressingly high but I am overly excited that mine is currently getting REALLY close to 30. Big red letter day when that happens! Have a fabulous day with your daughter! Mine keeps staring at me whenever I see her! 😂
@coffeeandteav sorry to hear you are still having a rough time. I think I’d be tempted to fast as much as possible around jab days in an attempt to fight the nausea😬
@spottydogsarethebest hi! I am only just about to start 7.5 but did 16 weeks on 5 so know what you mean about the dilemma! It is really up to you and how you are coping with the hunger. Years of dieting have made me ok with physical feelings of hunger but I panicked when the food noise came back and my brain started to talk to me about the Gu cheesecake in the fridge and how it wouldn’t hurt to have more wine!

TheShellBeach · 30/11/2024 12:42

OMG I bought a size 14 coat on Ebay, thinking I'd fit into it in a couple of months.

It fits. And it's brand new.

I got me a bargain.

TheShellBeach · 30/11/2024 13:42

Ergh I went out yesterday lunchtime with a group of people for a Christmas lunch.

I mean, it was lovely. But I'd signed up for it months ago, and ordered loads of food.

I left half my starter and most of my main course. Just couldn't finish it.

And my DD was with me, and we got a bottle of wine. Except I haven't fancied alcohol since July, but I drank two glasses anyway.

My tummy isn't happy today.

MounjaroUser · 30/11/2024 14:07

It's such a horrible feeling when you're so full, isn't it? If I look at menus now I just can't imagine eating such a lot. Hopefully that will stay with us to some extent afterwards.
