So my delivery just arrived (before 1pm guaranteed delivery). Was well packaged, the cool pack is still cold and I’m ready to start. So far very impressed with The Care Pharmacy.

I order using Boots and you do get 10% off repeat orders and you do get advantage card points.

I started off with boots and ordered 2 pens from them, but moved too Pharmlous as they are way cheaper.

Is anyone logging in Zoe? Was wondering how they were finding things?

With regards to moving supplier, does it matter when you order? I started with Voy but it is so expensive so I might cancel and switch. I’m due my 3rd jab on Sunday but conscious of delivery delays - could I order now and keep it ready, or will the new pharmacy want to see that my previous order is nearly done iyswim?

From experience, my first orders were very quick (unlike the rest) - just have some photos ready of the box of meds (needs to show your name, date and dose); will probably ask for photos of you, maybe photos of scale with your weight on them. They don't know/care if you have finished/are close to finishing/or haven't started your pen. They just care to confirm that you are on it as you say.

My first voy pen has just arrived and I'm considering switching to boots because of the 10% off and the fact you apparently collect points

Hi All

We've had a weekend of birthdays and visitors and I drank alcohol and had takeaway and cake. Brilliant time, proper holiday stuff.
On Monday I weighed 1.5kg more than I'd done on the Friday before. This morning I'm down to 0.7kg heavier. It really is OK to have a holiday and gain a little, it soon goes - thanks to MJ. Tomorrow is week 24 or 25, am still at a 13kg loss in total, comfortably in a non stretchy regular 16, can fit some size 14s, down from an 18/20. Of course I'm still aiming for a size 12, but if I get stuck on a 14 I'd still be pretty happy. Am 25% in to my MJ journey now, assuming a 2 year max, and so far it is the best thing I've ever done for myself.
I've had to buy a couple of bras as my old ones were just too loose, have gone down a back size and 2 cups sizes, and have discovered one boob is half a size bigger than the other - never noticed that before but one is busting slightly out of an H cup, but HH is too big.
I have been up to a JJ in my time so am delighted with the shrinkage.
10mg is working for me, not experiencing the total suppression some have, but it's definitely curbing my appetite. Slight increase in gastro side effects, tummy aches at night and loose tum on occasion, but nothing unmanageable.

Onwards and downwards.

@supadupapupascupa I have to stick with Boots as they are the only supplier I know where you can collect rather than have it delivered; am a primary school teacher so out of the house all day and can’t have it delivered to work for obvious reasons.

Yes you do get 10% discount, though I don’t know about Advantage Card points. It’s still more expensive than other suppliers though, and they don’t do maintenance doses. Worth considering another supplier if you can facilitate deliveries and are not stuck like me!

What are peoples expiry dates for 15mg pens at the moment and what supplier? I am currently on my last 7.5mg dose and have a 10, 12.5 and 15 pen as was buying ahead due to uncertainty on my finances later in the year and wanted to get them whilst I knew I could. I’ve used 3 different suppliers but am worried they will think the gap is too long to buy another 15mg in 3 months when I need it so wanting to get another now but the expiry of my 15mg pen is October so don’t want to end up with another with an October expiry as will be after then that I need it. Not sure what’s best to do

@Timeturnerplease ASDA do a pharmacy collection as well, if that helps?

I have the same predicament. I got 1 x 12.5mg pen and 1 x 15mg pen. I have not ordered any since because the 15mg pen expires in Oct and the 12.5mg expires in Nov. Both from Zava. What suppliers did you buy from? I am currently using the 12.5mg pen and am waiting to see if I want to stay on 12.5mg or go up to 15mg. Will probably have to use my 15mg pen next anyway so might take 12.5mg from it.

I will wait 6 weeks to order my next pen. So will order next month. But not sure what dose to buy to be honest! Don't want to leave it too long, but don't want a short dated pen! Might have to go for 12.5mg.

Although, I can't imagine the 12.5mg and 15mg pens really expire before the 7.5mg and 10mg pens! They were probably manufactured after. I guess Eli lily decided to not give the pens a very long expiry. For what reason I don't know!

Mine was from health express. First time ordering from them and really quick service, nice cold pen. Previously I used Zava then before that Medexpress. I did order the double pack of 12.5mg and 15mg from health express so can probably wait a while longer as they wouldn’t have ‘ran out’ yet even if taking them straight away after ordering but it’s hard to know what’s best to do isn’t it
