Just started.

Would be great to hear from others who are just starting.

First injection was was 28th July. No side effects so far. Appetite is decreasing but not as much as I've seen on other threads.

4 stone at least to lose.

I'm going to use this thread to give myself an online record.

@MrsHerbs79 it seems like such a waste though! I'm just shocked by this to be honest, they won't send me a pre paid return so I'm not sending it back

Fair enough……but I doubt they’ll refund you if they don’t get it back.

You are right it’s a massive waste. I went to pick up a patients just in case meds once and got a phone call while I was still in chemist to say they’d passed away and the meds were sent to be destroyed even though I hadn’t even walked out door with them xxx

@MrsHerbs79 I'm not too fussed about the refund - if I get another 2.5 I'm happy to do 8 weeks on it then move up to 5, it keeps in the fridge!

Just so so so annoying they've done this, I'm going to send them an email when I'm home and work out why this isn't asked at the start of the process

I've had to come home from work. Not sure if it's MJ related or not but it's borderline vertigo. I'm so dizzy, think room spinning, can't focus eyes sort of dizzy and quite nauseous because of it.

I'm on a ridiculously heavy period. Not uncommon for me as I have the copper coil but I'm not sure if it's related to that. I take iron tablets every day though.

Seems weird that if it is a symptom of MJ it's only just come on given I'm well into my second week and due my third jab on Sunday.

So 3rd injection just done.

Here's a picture of my needle, I added the blue line to show the dose line.

There's definitely an extra dose in the needle! Will it just turn or does the needle somehow magically know it's been turned 4 times already? Does anyone know?

I've already got spare needles so I can definitely use this extra if I can get it out.

Hmmmm 6hrs since jabbed and don't feel any diff

Ate lunch as normal - salmon and rice and veg

Am I going to be in the 1% it doesn't work for 🙀🥲

I've seen lots of people on about this 'bonus dose'. If you can use a fresh needle, I think it's OK to use, but look into it a bit first, don't take my word for it!

Have just had a Huel shake. Didn't feel hungry at all, but I've only had one small bacon & salad chicken today, so thought I should eat something that had plenty of protein? Still no side effects thankfully. Determined to drink 6 pints of water per day.

OK, I think I've learnt that my body can't handle the injection and then food.

Friday night meals are off the table. I feel so sick 😫

I also took my first dose last night about 8pm. Looking forward to seeing how well we all do. How are you all feeling so far?

Just got a response that basically doubles down and asks me to consider their expensive therapy program before being offered it again. No options to return my pen now so I'm guessing my next one will be 2.5mg as well

I can definitely feel the effects starting to wear off slightly today, I've eaten more than I have been the last few days. However I don't think that's a bad thing as I've gone from eating under 1000 calories a day to about 1500 today - I did have a cupcake at work and a bag of crisps after work which was a bit of fail! I think I still like to have meal prep and a plan in place, which is good to know. Still feeling really good and positive though and amazed at how well it's worked!

Hi. Feel no different but found it easy to ignore delicious cakes earlier. Just not craving my usual Friday night sweet treats either.

I haven't had any crisps or a rocky bar thing that I have in my fridge and usually nibble some each evening

Oh no, I can't believe they have done that on you from the conversation they had. I'd be hanging back on sending it back until you've got your new one.

@WitchDancer exactly what I'm doing, they've not confirmed they'll even be sending a box to send it back! I'm not paying to post a medication and needles back to them

They can send a pre postage label if want it that bad

I remember reading something about that on one of the other threads, possibly the one that gives you a load of information at the beginning, which said it was possible but you had to be pretty rough to get it to turn again. I've bought some insulin needles/syringes for the bonus dose as I only have 4 needles with my pen, plus I struggle with strength in my hands.

Well done. We're going to a friend's BBQ tomorrow and they're always amazing, one of the highlights of the Summer. If I can resist the incredible food then I'll know it's started working.

I definitely wouldn't be paying to return it! I've read on about the wanting you to buy counselling and can't help but feel they are just trying to get extra sales from you.

@NeedSomeAnswersPlease maybe you can make your dose up to 5 ml with your bonus dose?

No clue how to do that, atm I'm happy on 2.5! I feel like I'm getting the best of all of it
