I gave in last-night to a Chinese takeaway with my husband and I also had half of what I would usually. Big mistake as I weighed myself this morning only to see that I am 4lb heavier than yesterday morning at the same time. Apparently it's water weight caused by the high amount of salt that may have caused this! I will never have a Chinese take away again now. I'm done with being naughty

@Toooldforthis36 Thank you for the info, and impressive stats! I was chatting to a friend at the weekend and she was wondering if perhaps I'm a bit addicted to the caffeine in chocolate rather than chocolate?!? I don't have any other caffeine and was eating a lot of chocolate so perhaps it was enough to make a difference. Not going to kid myself though that I don't just really like chocolate though. It's definitely a habit I need to break.

Changing subjects, I'm struggling to switch to order from Bolt because they only accept Pay Pal and my PP account seems to have gremlins to do with ID verification. They're charging £159 for 0.5mg. Does anyone have any similar priced suggestions?

Try med express and good for a discount voucher. Mine was £148

Google for a voucher

wibble44 · 21/02/2024 09:22

Hi,

I'd really grateful if people on the 0.5 pen could count the number of clicks for each dose.

I'm going to buy the 0.5 pen as it's cheaper but try to only take the 0.25 dose so it lasts longer, so going to use clicks to estimate.

Thanks in advance.

Nicebloomers · 21/02/2024 09:24

I’m taking a 0.5 dose tonight so I will try to do that for you @wibble44

LadyWithLapdog · 21/02/2024 09:26

I thought you could go back and forth through the clicks?

You can

Cuzco · 21/02/2024 14:25

UGH. I am massively struggling with chocolate cravings at the mo. I had a disaster yesterday because I had to pop to the shop, and ended up buying and eating a whole packet of Cadbury Fingers Confused. 970 calories. WTF. And now today I just really really want chocolate. I only had my third 0.25 two days ago.

Toooldforthis36 · 21/02/2024 14:54

@Cuzco how about this? It’s no-nasties, very rich so you literally can’t eat a lot, can help satisfy the choc need! Not cheap but honestly you won’t be able to eat it all at once! X

wibble44 · 21/02/2024 15:05

@Nicebloomers thank you 🤩

givenup123 · 21/02/2024 16:02

Hi All
Hope I can join in late to the thread. Have been reading and debating whether to go for it and have started today. Injection was fine. Feel no different but obviously early days.

52 female. Been around 75kg for most adult life and then at 49 started menopause and it all went to shit. Went from pretty happy, chilled person to anxious, exhausted sweaty mess and have put on 3 stone and still climbing. GP has no answers so trying this with everything crossed.

So 92kg this morning. Fingers crossed 🤞

Nicebloomers · 21/02/2024 16:03

Welcome @givenup123

Berlioze · 21/02/2024 16:14

Gently joining in. I started in the end of last week and I'm down a whopping 11lbs (but most of it must be water weight). Realistically it is probably half of that, still I'm so delighted. Been lurking for some time and thought I'd say hello 😊

givenup123 · 21/02/2024 16:16

👋 @Nicebloomers and @Berlioze

Hoping this works! I’d be delighted with a couple of pounds in the first week

Berlioze · 21/02/2024 16:17

Forgot to add:

SW: 213lbs
CW: 202lbs (which is crazy, clearly must be water weight!)
TW: 152lbs (well, ideally more like 120lbs, but let's not get ahead of ourselves)

I have a separate thread in the Weight Loss section dedicated to emotional eating and trying to come up with options to manage these issues when LAW (Life After Wegovy) starts, if anyone's interested.

Toooldforthis36 · 21/02/2024 18:16

Welcome @givenup123 and @Berlioze - nice to have you on board!

LadyWithLapdog · 21/02/2024 18:23

Welcome all new people.

Cuzco - I saw a high protein Sneakers bar, 20g protein and 217 cal. It has a more white & blue front on top of its usual branding, so looks more like a sports bar than a chocolate bar. I don’t know if that would satisfy to visual aspects of a chocolate.

I’m drinking lots of peppermint tea. It satisfies the sense of smell, and I hope it gets me out of the Diet Coke habit.

LadyWithLapdog · 21/02/2024 18:24

I’ll go and read LAW thread. As I need new habits so this isn’t all a waste of money.

LadyWithLapdog · 21/02/2024 18:26

PS I ate the bar, not just saw it, and it was good.

2bluecookies · 21/02/2024 18:44

I'm just waiting for my 0.25 pens to arrive at Boots... approved on Monday. Hoping they get here for Friday so I can start before the weekend in case of any side effects, but starting next Friday on the 1st March also has its appeal!

Nicebloomers · 21/02/2024 18:58

@wibble44

i counted a very random 37 clicks just now

Nicebloomers · 21/02/2024 19:23

Progress so far-

Oldandcobwebby · 21/02/2024 19:40

Just short of a stone in 5 weeks is brilliant. Well done @Nicebloomers

LadyWithLapdog · 21/02/2024 20:00
