Looks like colder weather at New Year. Hopefully the winter sun will make a return. It's been such a grey autumn.

Can I have some votes please? Would you climb Moel Famau tomorrow morning?

Well it would seem that the weather won't deteriorate snow wise until later. 3c. . it's the roads we're being warned about. Gritting is concentrated on main roads obviously. So side roads not good.

Ask on FB A55 traffic information for further details on driving conditions. Locals will know how good the gritting is if they are iced up.

Is going to be really difficult with snow on top of the flooding some people in Warrington have had at New year. I hope it isn't to bad for everybody

We haven't had anything of a snowy nature yet, here in Leicester but the sky has had that grey look about it that says, 'it's about to snow lots,' all day!

0.7 degrees in Manchester right now, feels colder ❄️

The sky looked a funny grey colour at about 3.30pm in Bradford. No snow as of yet, but not forecast until 9-11pm ish though.
could feel a temperature drop between this morning and this afternoon before I arrived home after being out all day.

Sleeting heavily near Swansea. Tiny bits sticking in plants but I don’t foresee much sticking, it’s very wet.

My weather app is saying we have snow (S.Bucks) but we don’t it’s just rain. The problem is, it’s forecast to turn to rain later this evening so really need to snow now if we’re to get any.

Bristol airport is currently diverting flights as the runways are shut. It's very icy and a mix of sleet and snow, but the sleet is frozen not wet if that makes sense.

It’s just changed here @tapdancingmum we’re a bit lower by the river in Marlow so Wycombe often gets snow and we don’t! It’s like a microclimate down here.

West Sussex and we now have heavy snow.
We do however have wet ground so it won't lie.

Something wintry has arrived at last here (Leicester) ~ sleet started about 15 minutes ago.
