Early Summer weather watch

After the dramatic weather for some over the last few days, mostly covered in the Thunderstorm warning threads, I think it's time to switch to a new thread. After all, we are two weeks into meteorological summer.

The feels like temperature is 4! The BBC are always more pessimistic than the met office but that’s ridiculous

Oh someone's having a nightmare at the bbc. I so live I the frozen north but the current forecast is a little pessimistic.

8 here until next Friday in Cheshire, with the exception of 14 on Sunday!

Also gone down to 17 in Spain where we're going on holiday and rain every day, it was 30 and sun!

Either somebody at the BBC is massively stressing out just now, or we've gone back in time a few months!

It looks like the weather company who supply the data are having some hiccups.

Yebbut the news at ten should have thought hang on a minute 🤣

Can you imagine being up there to forecast, that comes up on your screen and you think 'WTF'?

Phew came here to check we weren't heading for snow in july! 7 degrees still forecast here!

I've got 6C for tomorrow night (right at the top- when you click on each day, it says 7C. for a few days.)
Ooo this is like 'Play Your Cards Right!' Higher.... lower.....higher.....

It's a bit of a nightmare for them that they've not been able to solve the issue yet.

I’ve got a highs of 8 and lows of 6 next week. Better get the jumpers back out. 😂

The Beeb weather service seems to have recovered. We are gone from 7°c across the board to a more likely 17-21 for the next week.
