Snow watch part 6 (!) / Easter 2018

As Snow watch part 5 is almost full, there's a few days of milder weather forecast and we're coming up to Easter, thought now would be a good time to start a new thread.

There are signs that winter might not be finished with us yet.

The run up to Easter could be wintry…

2C and sleet here. Snow warning has extended to cover us from midnight, though can't see it settling at low levels.

Rusty! I hope that's not going to be the case. I'd hate for climate change deniers to be right purely because of alien intervention!

We had a good covering of snow this morning and then pouring rain this afternoon (and all evening too). I'm sick of this never ending winter, it's like being in Game of Thrones, I'm half expecting White Walkers to appear over the Pennines. We have horses and it's been hard work. I'm sooo ready for spring.

Still sleeting. There's standing water on top of the grass everywhere.

Think the warnings have been updated to include Southern Scotland/northern England ~ rain/snow until midnight.

Further south, there's flooding in York ~ webcam of the river.

Snowing and starting to stick on the grass above the puddles. Must be nuts further inland.
