Snow watch!!!!

well, it looks like winter finally might be arriving!

First indications for snow are for this coming saturday as a low pressure draws in cold air . The met office arent really going for it at the moment, but the potential is certainly there. At the moment I'd say the biggest risk is for the midlands and central England.

After that there seems to be a cold few days but then the models start to disagree. GFS shows a positive snow fest for the 24th! masses of snow, but its a long way off and until we get much closer who knows what really will happen.

Im in kent too. few flakes and its really cold and bright,so fingers crossed

it feels cold here but its actually 3C. sun is warming the house nicely through the windows though :)

YY OYBBK but I can see all the smeary hand prints on them when the sun's out.

0 here at the moment, still dry and sunny but the sky is going a opaque in the west.

Still not convinced we will get anything here, but I hope to be pleasantly surprised in the morning!

Some more yellow warnings have been added on met office site for Kent for later today. Just need it to move across to sussex now.

It looks we're due to get rain in Manchester. Boooooo. Why do we never get any snow?!

Bright sun here after this mornings light snow covering and the temperature's up to 2.3C. Just noticed the metoffice now have a Level 3 Cold Weather Alert for England from today 'til Friday. 'Tis going to be a cold week!

Theyve also got a warning out for the east for wednesday too now.

Clapham (SW4 not Alan Bennett home) has suddenly become bottom-clenchingly nippy. There may have been a flake or two but I've belted home.

None here in North West.

Got a feeling we might get some by end of the week as it's forecast most parts by Thursday.

We have had a few pathetic showers here in Dundee from what I hear on fb all around Dundee has loads of real fab snow :(

temp is beginning to drop here and its clouded over.

Any reports from Kent/west sussex wayseems to be a cluster of showers over that way that has some snow mixed in, looks like more of that will come snow. The stuffcoming down across Wales into the midlands also seems to be turning increasingly to snow..

I was watching the shower cluster over Kent on the radar, it seems to have petered out.

Saltire Im hoping the exact same. I live rural N. Yorks so it would be lovely to see it on the fields, but Id like to be able to get out and about tomorrow and Tues. Im hopeful that here it will snow, but it wont be too bad.

Still no sign of Snow in North Yorks yet, but Im blooming cold

Veering between sleet and snow all morning here, at the moment looking more snowy so here's hoping!
