Can we please have a 'What I ate today' thread, vegan style?

I'll start!

B: bran sticks and oat milk, glass of OJ.
L: Hummus and tomato toastie.
D: Stir fry: pepper, courgette, onion, garlic, ginger, carrot and Quorn chicken-style pieces, noodles and lots of soy sauce. First time I've tried the chicken-style pieces; they were on offer. Nice and low cal/high protein, but nothing special in terms of taste.
Snacks: apple, banana, bombay mix.

I’ve had muesli, a banana, satsuma, coffee with oat milk.

A chocolate bar, vegan cheese and tomato toastie

Going to have 2 ‘chicken’ kievs with broccoli for dinner

Also lots of Pukka ‘feel new’ herbal tea

I feel really unhealthy compared some on this thread!

Ooh Domestic Goddess your Sat and Sun meals sound yummy.

Livvy, I wouldn't worry, I eat far too much vego chocolate and peanuts in between my 'healthy' meals. Grin

Today:
B: Overnight oats and chia seeds with PB, banana and cacao nibs.
L: Leftover crispy chow mein
D: Tomato soup and crusty bread
S: Humus and crackers, Becks blue and peanuts, pudding will be more brownie and vanilla ice cream. Yum!

@Livvy90 I agree with @Submariner and say don't worry about it. I love fruit and veg and therefore eat plenty of it. I can also eat a family sized bag of salted cashews in one sitting Grin

Yesterday was:
B: overnight oats with blueberries, raspberries, seeds and soya yogurt
L: black bean noodles with cavalier Nero, beetroot
D: lentil curry with roasted cauliflower, roast red cabbage, rice, naan and spicy mango chutney
S: snack a jacks, grapes, nakd bar

B: shreddies with rice milk, raspberries and mango
L: beetroot, celeriac risotto
D: ginsters quorn pasty, mash and curried baked beans
S: nakd bar, grapes, cherry tomatoes, cashew nuts

Today
B: muesli with seeds, raspberries and rice milk
L: beetroot, macaroni and cauliflower cheese
D: stir fry veg noodles with tofu and peanuts, almond magnum
S: nakd bar, 2 satsumas

B: overnight oats with berries, seeds and soya yogurt
L: left over veg noodles with extra cashew nuts, satsuma
D: large salad, burger in a bun with cheese/jalapeños/violife cheddar and burger relish, sweet potato fries
S: 2 dates, grapes, 2 crumpets with flora buttery and marmite

Today

B: mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, spinach fried in a bit of flora with garlic and chilli, served on buttered toast
L: shreddies with rice milk, 2 dates, chipsticks
D: Yorkshire pudding, shroomdog sausage, roast potatoes, parsnips and cauliflower, tenderstem, carrots, peas, cabbage, gravy. Ginger cake and custard
S: biscoff creams

B. Smoothie with a whole lemon, soaked figs, 3 small apples, soaked linseeds, 50/50 apple juice\filtered water.
L. spinach,onion and garlic, steamed with Kamut pasta
D. Salad with lettuce, grated carrot,cucumber. Mustard\olive oil dressing. with 2 slices of Spelt toast and tahini.
S. Almonds walnuts,dates and 1\2 grapefruit.

I keep dropping off this and it’s my favourite!

Yesterday was hm flatbreads and smashed avocado, a packet of seaweed snack, massive bowl of roast cauliflower, potatoes and green beans with lemon tahini sauce for a late lunch and a mashed up bowl of white beans, avocado, lemon juice with some oatcakes for tea

Just a word about cashews; dh was in the habit of eating them in front of the telly and suddenly couldn't walk (bad pains in his knees) I suggested giving up the cashews which he did and he's fine now!!

Richmond sausages are very good (kinda surprised me to be honest). Biggest advantage for me is that DD14 (only omni in the house) is very happy to eat them so all 4 of us can eat the same which is great

@ppeatfruit that's really interesting about cashews. Was yo ur DH eating a lot of them? I eat them in quite a few different ways

Yesterday was
B: muesli with kiwi, seeds and rice milk
L: mushroom/veg stew, satsuma
D: roasted tomatoes orzo pasta bake thing from the green roasting tin (yum) with green beans and broccoli
S: nakd bar, grapes, cashews

Today:
B: overnight oats with seeds, cherries and soya yogurt
L: spicy sweet potato peanut stew, brown rice and broccoli, beetroot, satsuma
D: tofu shakshuka with spinach and capers, hot crusty bread
S: nakd bar, grapes, cashews, snack a jacks

@PartTimeDomesticGoddess how is green roasting tin? My mum bought me the 30min one which was annoying because there were about 3 vegan dishes and even though she said you could veganise the others I don’t see the point, better to buy an actual vegan cookbook!

Parttime He was eating small packs, one a night. if you have any aches and pains it might be the cashews (they're high in acid).

ijumped Of course quite a few foods can give different people varying aches and pains! I follow my Blood type way of eating and am aware which foods are good for me etc.

S- homemade banana flapjack, grapes, Pom bears

B: Fresh and soaked dried apricots and linseeds whole lemon, 3 small apples , 50%apple juice\filtered water blended smoothie.
L. Asparagus with a tahini, yeast flakes, mustard and olive oil dip.
D. Grated carrot, lettuce, sliced raw mushroom and spring onion with herbs salad with the same dip I made at lunchtime and spelt toast. Similar snacks. green tea. and chicory coffee drinks oh and water of course.
