I'll start!

B: bran sticks and oat milk, glass of OJ.
L: Hummus and tomato toastie.
D: Stir fry: pepper, courgette, onion, garlic, ginger, carrot and Quorn chicken-style pieces, noodles and lots of soy sauce. First time I've tried the chicken-style pieces; they were on offer. Nice and low cal/high protein, but nothing special in terms of taste.
Snacks: apple, banana, bombay mix.

Tried out some of the Asda plant based snacky type stuff at my sisters last night - trying to introduce her to a few vegan swaps!
No duck spring rolls - hit
Kfc style chicken bites - definite hit
Sweet potato fritters - gorgeous
Vegan dirty fries - soggy and a bit yack
No-zzerella dippers - she loved them, I hated them!

Today I am powering through a stack of watermelon slices to try replace all the vitamins that last nights gin killed off.

Picked up quorn gammon style steaks for dinner but just realised they contain egg so aren't vegan. Oops! Will give them a go with lots of cauliflower and broccoli and maybe some celeriac mash.

Vegans! Make saag paneer with tofu instead of paneer immediately. That is all.😁

ForTheLoveOfCatFood · 20/01/2020 22:20

Ooh have you got a recipe namestranger?

Namestranger · 20/01/2020 22:42

www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/wordofmouth/2014/jun/26/how-make-perfect-saag-paneer-vegetarian-indian

I used this one but replaced the cheese with tofu and the ghee with coconut oil. Fried the tofu pieces IL they were quite crispy. Then added the end added a dollop of flora and a splash of brine from the preserved lemon jar...had it with rice...I had i consciously eat it slowly because it was so yummy I wanted to wolf it!
