@SiegfriedSassoon you left out sweeping chimneys and selling matches on street corners.

I'm sure there's an interview with the her somewhere where she shares at aged 10 or whatever she was serving food in the canteen on her father's sets. Serving others right from birth!

I wouldn't be surprised if someone of those jobs were outright lies or based 1 afternoon try out.

Didn't Thomas Sr say she never needed to work when she was at school or university?

These inconsistencies imo were why she didn't want him at the wedding.

He did indeed and TM also debunked the proctor and gamble tale

JoanChitty · Today 12:26

Yes she / they did say “ Service is Universal “ . They also claimed “Silence is Complicity”, that statement hasn’t worked too well for them lately….

Found it. 2018 Esquire interview.

Interestingly she also says that while she wasn't allowed to watch her dad's show due to the adult humour, she used to turn it on for the credits so she could kiss the screen when her dad's name came on..
🤨

She also made and sold hair scrunchies as well! Proper one woman industry is our Meg! 😂

This is why I think they will stick with each other. They are each other's soul mate (albeit in a toxic negative way) and each of them has needs that are fulfilled by the other one.

It really is them against the world.

Like Wallis and David in so many ways.

Like Wallis and David in so many ways.

Indeed, and I think Wallis was trapped in that. PH seems as suffocatingly needy as David.

Surely to god, HAM no longer have any credibility whatsoever? No charity will or indeed should get involved with them now

And therein lies an irony. The Middletons have worked for a living, made money, prioritised family, lived quietly, have a rogue relation and, arguably, behaved less than well over the folding of their business. The Markles' story includes divorce, drugs, probably jail, possibly paedophilia, possibly sex tourism, orgies, alcoholism, and public feuding.

When you put it like that, yikes ! 🤯🤯🤯🤯

For such a hard working Trojan as a child, alarmingly, Meg seems to have absolutely no work ethics as an adult

She’s worn out poor love.

Yes and when MM said that she got through her northwestern uni years using scholarships, financial aid and part time job earnings, TM came out saying that was extremely offensive and that he paid every penny of her uni fees and helped her fund her accommodation and living expenses.

I guess she could retire as she has been working over 40 years, apparently

I expect conversations are taking place at SmartWorks, Mayhew and even Invictus. The charities could soften the blow by asking them to step aside until the Thomas Markle situation becomes clearer. Perhaps a bit of donor research to find out if HaM as patron really does discourage donations.

Is the woman shown in a beige dress and a brown cardigan not pregnant? My guess is Harriet Sterling is pregnant and her teen daughter is in a goth phase as the second person shown is in black. Peter probably asked the king if he wanted to announce the pregnancy officially via Buckingham Palace and Charles said no so Peter has sold the news to the highest bidder.

Is Peter such a big draw though for Hello to potentially make such a song and dance about their future article?

I have often thought this. Catherine has exactly what Meg wants and that includes a warm, loving family.

Having grown up in a difficult home environment, I remember feeling envious of my friends who seemingly had calm, stable homes. However I didn’t feel pathologically jealous of them. I just resolved that my adult life would be better and I would be a better parent to my future DCs.

Same here. However, Meg seems to have chosen a dysfunctional route for her own kids

This sounds shallow, and I apologise because this isn’t how I judge people, but for someone like Meghan, the fact that C’s family were also very attractive and photogenic wouid have stung too. Mr Middleton would have contrasted very cruelly with Thomas Markle.

I think H is taking separate PR advice. Not a whisper from him whereby he generally claps back as the dragonslayer

I really hope that this just might be the straw that breaks the King's back when it comes to these two. All this taking the headlines yet again when the King is on an overseas trip.

Meghan's family are pure trailer park trash and decent vetting at the early stages would have brought all this out before any public wedding took place. Harry should have married if that's what he wanted but at the cost of having his place in the LoS removed and his titles put into abeyance.

Can you imagine the idiotic outcries of Racism! etc that would have ensued? All those bad actors and deluded people would have broken the Queen et al for doing such a thing, eg. we saw what happened with M lies and the 'skin colour' debacle. All these idiots ready to incorrectly chose to be victims. I am sure BP wanted to, no doubt MM got a security check beforehand and they knew how awful she was. But their hands were tied. And here we are. Though even worse than anyone (except MM?) anticipated.

"Unconscious bias" would be also thrown around...
