This sounds shallow, and I apologise because this isn’t how I judge people, but for someone like Meghan, the fact that C’s family were also very attractive and photogenic wouid have stung too. Mr Middleton would have contrasted very cruelly with Thomas Markle.

MM is the epitome of shallow, so you are perfectly reasonable to point this out. If Doria had been unattractive, overweight and in poor health then she certainly wouldn't have been invited either.

"Unconscious bias" would be also thrown around...

I wonder did harry ever learn what "unconscious bias" means? It was his phrase of the month for a while

Yes - I have the impression that she probably implied to the Met that the ex and half-siblings were all nutters trying to sell stories about her.

But she is pissed that TMJ broke an exclusive and rushed to the Sun to clapback - only it backfired and now she is scrambling - as you say - to explain the various stories she has told.

This was my own thought from the very start, Lunde

If it's true that the FBI want to question Meghan, it would actually be understandable for her to prefer this in writing; if she's lied about this as she does about so much else she'll need to be careful with her replies and remember what she's already said before committring herself

If she's capable that is ... Harry may overlook a lot "because she's hot" but that won't wash with professionals (or indeed anyone with the slightest sense)

Oh yes. All of it. Would've been a field day for millions of Americans and Brits. Awful.

I think H is taking separate PR advice. Not a whisper from him whereby he generally claps back as the dragonslayer

Good spot!

I don't really care about Harriet doing it.
She's not a working royal - so there is no conflict.

She's very discreet. The only really private and personal thing she talks about is her Christian faith, and that's her business and her choice to talk about.

And she's taken on the patronage of a charity; part of that is promoting and publicising it.

I wonder if she is donating some or all of her fee to the charity.
I can’t say I mind. I don’t know much about how Peter Phillips earns a living but I doubt he earns as much as the Tindalls with their sponsorships. Harriet seems to come from one of those well to do families who aren’t doing so well these days. She is a nurse so hardly bringing a big income to the household. PP has had to pay off an ex wife and has two children to educate, Harriet’s daughter is at the same school. Guessing fees in the £30-40k a year region, there’s several more years of education and uni ahead for the three of them. You have to be very wealthy to turn up your nose at an easy £100k or whatever Hello pays these days if the chance comes your way. Hell I’d jump at the chance but sadly I’m not interesting or photogenic enough for anyone to pay me for a feature!😅

A thought about 'Hello'. The publishers may not want a 16-page HaM spread because it may jeopardise deals with other royals, given how unpopular they are. Also, the HAM's would ask for a huge fee that 'Hello' couldn't afford.

"institutional racism" would've been another one.

I think it would've been ugly.

Also they might not want any controversy. Hello! isn't exactly cutting edge journalism, is it?

What's Harry's quote "not telling the truth is complicit " ??

Surely to god, HAM no longer have any credibility whatsoever? No charity will or indeed should get involved with them now

Sadly I’m not so sure, we know Meghan will spin this that she is the victim and you only have to read some posts on here there are people who lap it up, wouldn’t surprise me one bit if she now promotes herself as the patron saint of abuse victims and some charity will fall for her spiel, they always do.

The so called journalism I’ve read and watched in the MSM regarding this situation makes Hello look like Paxman.

Doria fitted the narrative. A strong, independent black woman. So she was used too.

Charles was beautifully attentive to her, and would have had less interaction had she been accompanied by TMs.

AlexandraCarrington · Today 13:25

It says at the end of the article that Hello has donated a fee to Home-Start Cotswolds. Doesn't say whether they have also paid her a fee, but that's her business.

Rockyroadminibites · Today 13:30

It seems odd to complain about someone not working whilst looking at their work. Hello is work. Different work from what most of us do and likely a one-off piece of work but still work.

I wondered whether the palace might have been in touch with him offering words of advice. Although they would also be aware that he could crow about that later on - "they wanted me to leave MM for the vultures and protect myself wah wah wah"

That's the problem. He'd leak it. Palace wanted me to leave Meg. Waaaah

Regarding the Hello article, I would think that Princess Anne is pragmatic enough to realise that Mr and Mrs Phillips have to make a living.

Oh it’s all okay for them to use their status to bring money in - and not for the first time. It’s his second wedding exclusive.

you lot are pathetic. Your hypocrisy knows no bounds.
