Yup. Struggling now that she has been uncovered

Struggling with the truth as ever starry!

And struggling to:

  • remember what she said to whom
  • when she said
  • if H knew or not
  • whether she should have a so sad face or something more enigmatic
  • how much she’s going to be paid
  • who’s providing the setting/ clothing /props

and ad infinitum…..
It would certainly give me a mighty headache trying to remember!

If the Hello spread is HAM, it can't be at their beautiful new Cotswolds home, as (ever) they don't have one yet. Doubt Ian Wace has given permission for a photo shoot at his gaff. So it's hard to fully showcase their triumphant return to Harry’s pastoral English homeland.

Ah but....as I suggested on Thread 60, HaM are capable of using Ian Wace's house for a photoshoot without asking, H didn't bother to check that it was OK to take a Netflix crew to a charity polo match for Sentebale.

One solution would be to avoid domestic interiors (because 'privacy') and use Sohoe House, a pub, pumpkin picking field with stooping Hamlets, a milking parlour ('And you go 'Now we see the wurrrld through a Briddish rural lens') and, of course, a pig farm (HaM going back to their piggy routes).

My thoughts exactly. But then it has all got to be about her. Not a word about any victims.

TellMeAnother · Yesterday 16:26

"And so there is a degree of relief that people now know the full story"

WTF? Full story? There are SO many holes in it, plus it's "her" story, not "the" story - two very different things - like Harry's "truth."

By saying 'people close to them' MM is undoubtedly hoping her words will increase the speculation that some of the RF knew. But she can still claim, wide eyed, that she never said that.

The most likely candidate for 'people close to them' would surely have to be Doria. She's the person who's been mentioned by them as being close at hand and part of their lives in the last five years. I don't think Meghan and Doria are genuinely that close any more than most people, but Meghan would hardly be able to say that if asked. Do ria might also be expected to have some knowledge of any of TMS's more unpleasant preferences, if anyone did and if his first wife did.

As you say though @SiegfriedSassoon that's not who she's hoping people will think of.

Starryfifty · Yesterday 16:29

I really really hope MSM (and not so mainstream) question HAM's bullshit narrative. Spewing shite about lipgloss, sibling baldness, dog bowls and necklaces is merely embarrassing. This is serious. It involves the rape of vulnerable children. Meg (and we assume her witless hubby) knew about these allegations against her father. Had the power to do something but did not.

Many thanks - that makes sense

Yes, it wouldn't be good to make the same mistake twice

Eugenie?

I suppose it could be at a stretch. If they did tell Eugenie that suggests a far closer relationship than we had been led to believe, which again calls into question why Meghan didn't recognise Eugenie's father. At this point anything she says calls into question other things she is on record as saying.

I'm guessing it isn't him because of the wall to wall royals at his wedding. I suppose it could be an "at home" feature.

I know none of us knows, but I really don’t think any relationship with Eugenie would go as far as entrusting her with something like this. I don’t think M wouid tell anyone she didn’t have to - she’s sly herself and I can’t see her trusting anyone that far.

She's struggling with the backlash... her statement was supposed to be a huge clap back at the media to gain her sympathy, she never expected the amount of digging that would follow as well as the resurrection of all her past porkies...
And now we have Kevin who the met are trying to track down!

Life is going to get difficult for Meghan very soon, the FBI interview a particular challenge. Never mind her being 'in bits' (on my most disliked phrases list), the FBI will have her tied in knots. She may also be required by the Met to have a conversation about the handing over of the copy letter by the RPO to help them track him or her down.

(Social media source) M's lawyer has contacted the FBI in response to an interview request from them. The FBI want a face-to-face interview. The lawyer says she will do a written interview in response to questions they send. I think she's confusing the FBI with Hello magazine.

Good to see her being cooperative. She might be nervous about returning to the USA in case the FBI sends an agent to LAX to seize her. The Loveless allegations could be assumed to cover the 10-year period during which TMs was parent-in-sole-charge.

Quite possibly.

She has since spoken to Hello and said PH and ‘people close to them’ also knew. She’s not said who these people are.

"But at the same time, there is a sense of relief because it's something that she and Harry have had to carry for a very long time, and people close to them as well. And so there is a degree of relief that people now know the full story."

Thanks for the new thread @jeffgoldblum 👋

Well we know for a fact they aren’t close to W&C, C&C or E&S so she can’t shift the blame onto them, the people closest to them are Doria and the third wheel in their marriage Marcus.

MerryAquaKoala · Yesterday 16:44

I'm guessing
HAM @ Soho Farmhouse (that is Markus's place after all)
Hamlets playing around on the grass / in the playground there
H as pp said already 'protected' himself ref KC clash 🙄
Planned as soon as they decided (were told advised?) to leave the USA

TellMeAnother · Yesterday 16:45

I always wondered why they were so prickly about control and their (by which I think I mean her) privacy - particularly once Archie came along. One has to assume it's because she has some skeletons in her closet that she was panicky about coming out.
I presume her current distress is not to do with the "shock" of the recent revelations (because she clearly knew about them years ago) but because they're out there in the public domain and she wasn't in control of that release and she sure as hell has cocked up controlling the story going forward.
I also suspect she knew or at least had an inkling about her father long before any letter arrived in 2018/19.

I agree. I can't see Meghan trusting anyone with something as explosive as this. It's also why I don't believe anyone else in the Institution knew.
