@AutumnCrowOnTheUFO No I think the Met statement does say there were concerns about the content of the letter and therefore passed it onto office of DDOS.

@Starryfifty I may have got the exact name of the dept wrong but it seems as though it does exist from various reports, and there apparently have been quite a few people added to it in relation to HAM.

My strong impression is that the concerns were about embarrassment and not any physical danger. Hence it being left with Meg and possibly Meg alone (based on her own words in her own Friday am statement).

Sorry if this has already been asked, finding it hard to keep up with all of the threads. Why did Lady Colin Campbell start a GoFundMe for TMSnr and why did he have the Daily Mail with him in his hospital room when he unexpectedly received the letter from Meghan?

More AI slop and a massive derail. I’ll leave these here and move on.

What does that actually mean?? It reads as though Her Dad cut her off for marrying into the rf, not the other way round? Confused

TBH the constant reinventing of their narrative is like trying to grab hold of a jellyfish - it's very slimy, slippery and there are terrible stingers.... 🙄

I don’t think Archie is. In M’s own words, he clings to H’s legs.

Hopefully everything will become clearer once the IOPC investigation is complete - I fear I am being somewhat optimistic in that statement though.

My fear is the Met (not that I am a great fan of them) will take a lot of the flack for the mistakes they made and HAM will become very much they were wronged.

And yes Harry will be loving his new role of knight in shining armour whilst Meghan weeps elegantly.

It's a continuation of being a dragonslayer 🐲 - he is the Prince of England and her Knight in shining armour ♘

And what does the dummy do? Go and raid the fridge? Or wandering around inspecting the cabinets looking for silverware to nick?

Well, if you're in an Agatha Christie novel....

For some relatives of mine, bridge was their all consuming interest. They went on bridge playing holidays. They played in competitions.

The Mail journalist is Caroline Graham and she became a friend of TMsnr apparently, as did ‘Lady C’. They seem to genuinely like him and feel sorry for him. Whether that lasts will depend on the evidence for his guilt or innocence. They’ll be pretty devastated if their trust has been misplaced, I imagine. But those are the risks that journalists and content creators take when they align with individuals. Humans lie.

To that end, the Met need to report themselves to the IOPC and officially announce that.

Absolutely right. But they don’t have Meghan and Harry for parents. Wherever they live those poor kids are fucked. Because of their parents. And poor Lillibet was fucked from the start anyway with that choice of name. If she has any sense - which I hope for her she does, except she might not, after all, the generational bollocks foisted upon her by her dad might extend to intellect -she will change that name pretty sharpish when she can. Archie will get by, I guess. His dysfunctional ma has already forgotten he exists.

She really was , it was as if poor Archie's name was given no thought, no nod to his impressive royal ancestry simply Archie Harrison (son of Harry) the least royal, least prince like name they could come up with!
Unless of course Archie is a name from the Markle lineage!

Then Lilibet gets saddled with Lilibet Diana....

The Telegraph article states the letter by Ms Loveless (what a name!) warned he was a danger to them and RAVEC were now re-assessing. In the comments, readers are pointing out reputational risks are not security risks.
It's a bit confused. As am I 🥴

There is no confirmation AFAIK that they checked that Roslyn Loveless even wrote the letter.

The DM article contains the word “ reportedly” several times .
Also “ a source”.
Let’s see what the programme makers say !

That's really too much to wish for isn't it?

Journalistic standards are looking really shoddy at the moment over this story. So many unreported and underplayed pitfalls.

Very shoddy

Especially as Sun journalists colluded with rummaging through the boxes and photographing them BEFORE the devices were handed to police
