DM now reporting she'll relocate to Australia for filming and H and hamlets may be included

Spoiling their chance of settling in at a second school now. Terrible decision making. If she really wants to do this, leave the kids at home with their dad and staff. It's most unfair on them to haul them off to Australia now.

The DM article contains the word “ reportedly” several times .
Also “ a source”.
Let’s see what the programme makers say !

They give the Daily Mail a lot of stories though, the sources are probably them.

Comments are mostly like the comments on here. Confusion over whether TMS risked physical security or reputational security (RAVEC not concerned with the latter obviously)..

Surely there would be a photocopy?

From the information reported over the last couple of days the 2018/9 letter is as follows:
Meghan said letter sent to the fixated persons dept in 2018
Met confirmed letter sent 2019 but they no longer have the letter (Meghan issued statement saying mixed up dates)
Met confirmed upon receipt of the letter they sent it, or the details of it, to the office of DDOS
Met asked Meghan for a copy which she provided
Met referred themselves to the IOPC for not referring the contents of the letter on.

I posted on the previous thread there appears to be no clarification the copy of the letter Meghan has forwarded to the Met is 100% confirmed is an exact copy.

Edited to add if anyone can add or correct my understanding of the Met letter please do so!

Those children are going to be in therapy for the term of their natural lives. Fucked up doesn't begin to start with their upbringing. It's like they are nothing more than ornaments to be displayed.

So the Met didn't keep a copy? How convenient.

My ex had a saying for situations like this - 'they're making it up as they go along.' And in this case it seems that they really are.

And yes Harry will be loving his new role of knight in shining armour whilst Meghan weeps elegantly.

There comes a point when even weeping elegently gives way to lots of snot, hope his shoulder's waterproof and he has the loo roll handy.

Starryfifty · Yesterday 22:46

Best way to resolve this is handwriting analysis. Wouldn't surprise me if this letter was not written by ex Mrs m

Agree. As Maureen O'C said. Archie's version of Spare will be troubling

Ah, the Met. There's no situation they can't be relied on to make worse through sheer professional incompetence.

And all this happened in the Cressida Dick years, to bring you an extra frisson of doom.

I read in one early report that the Met were also referring themselves to IOPC for having passed on allegations made against one person (TMS) to another (MM), which breached confidentiality protocols.

Typo

Confusion over whether TMS risked physical security or reputational security (RAVEC not concerned with the latter obviously)..

How could he pose a physical threat when he was in a different country, in poor health, and they (the security services) could very easily arrange to be alerted if he travelled to the UK.

And yes Harry will be loving his new role of knight in shining armour whilst Meghan weeps elegantly.

On the floor?

Feels like they are suffering for from a bad reputation too - they can't say there was no letter because people will just assume they have lost it through incompetence.
What a bloody mess this is.

You have no idea how they will turn out, there are lots of families that move countries often and the children grow up fine. My own mother moved countries when she was younger between Kenya, India and the UK as her Dad was in a diplomatic role she isn't fucked up, didn't need therapy and still had a good education.

Are you going to tell that to the millions of military families who move every two to three years? Are you going to say that to diplomats, foreign service workers, or international business families whose kids grew up in various countries.

Millions of normal, stable, and highly successful people grow up moving across countries and adapting to new environments. Travelling for a work contract isn't trauma, it is just life.

It might not be the typical thing people do but it doesn't make it wrong or fucked up and it doesn't mean the children will grow up needing therapy their entire life.

Yes, that hasn’t yet been confirmed either, has it?

It’s all just a pyramid of allegations and suppositions.

The Telegraph article states the letter by Ms Loveless (what a name!) warned he was a danger to them and RAVEC were now re-assessing. In the comments, readers are pointing out reputational risks are not security risks.
It's a bit confused. As am I 🥴

Just as the accusations against TM(Sn) should go through any judicial process with the caveat innocent until proven guilty, I feel the same about the Met and IOPC - due process has to take place.

For all the Met's previous errors and mistakes, what they are saying may be totally true, and I will reserve judgement as to if the copies of the letters are exact copies of the letter missing.

OK, you mention military families: like those where the kids go to boarding school rather than travelling all over because it's the most stable option for them? Parents in the situations you describe are generally trying to mitigate the moves and find the best available solution for their kids. If HAM take the kids out of school to go to Australia, that's completely different. They are disrupting the kids for the third time in a few months and not taking the obviously better option, which is to leave them in their (second) new school to settle in and be secure at home with their dad. Meghan can go and work by herself, for their good.

Indeed. I wonder if enough examples of her handwriting would still be available to use for comparison though. Meghan surely has no knowledge of what her father's first wife's handwriting is like. Thomas Jr and Samantha might but probably can't be trusted.

Well they know their children better than you do and we don't even know yet if she is going on her own or they are all going but of course withiut those facts, and as typical of this thread lets just speculate and wrote nasty comments like that.

Btw my mum and her siblings never went to boarding school and they turned out just fine just like lots of other children do who move around.

Has to be a sample of her handwriting somewhere. If the entire HAM saga from their wedding to present date script was handed to a Hollywood screenwriter, it would be considered too ridiculous/ far fetched
