I'ts wonderful to see Harry & Meghan happy & smiling & back in the UK supporting their charities.

Regardless whether people agree or disagree with their return, like all families we may not always agree,we may even fall out for long periods of time. The important thing is finding it in our hearts to forgive while leaving bitterness in the past. Above all we must consider the unforgiving legacy we may leave behind & the children who can never be happy & fulfilled being brought up within a fueding family.

They’re bonkers, they’ve gone full circle, I don’t know what they’ve achieved, what was the point in all the drama they created with their ‘freedom flight’ and Opra interview.

TalonOfDuty · 15/10/2026 15:39

I don't believe for one minute that the bitterness is in the past!

babasaclover · 15/10/2026 15:40

@Idayatatime in order to be forgiven first they must apologise!

To who? For what??

Who are you talking about OP? Some personal friends?

LivingForTheWinter · 15/10/2026 15:43

There's a royal family board for this shit.

Screamingabdabz · 15/10/2026 15:43

I find it truly absurd after all the angst and supposed trauma. Most people who’ve had to document a ‘freedom flight’ don’t suddenly pretend that never happened once their kids are old enough to need a posho British education.

It’s all as weird as they are.

Chaostheory12 · 15/10/2026 15:44

It's not wonderful, it's beyond bizarre. They are playacting at being working Royals. Just what is the point? They are irrelevant. If they are so desperately worried about security why don't they live quietly and stop shoving themselves in front of cameras at every opportunity, as well as featuring their poor children's backs on social media.

sesquipedalian · 15/10/2026 15:45

It’s not wonderful at all - they’re supposed to be “private citizens”. I sincerely hope the King puts his foot down and stops this nonsense.

They are odd balls. No one is really interested in what they want to do. They are grifters especially Megan who has behaved disgracefully. There was hope that a fresh face would be welcome when she married Harry but she has clearly thrown her weight around, made demands about what she was wanted to do and when she was told to stop it claimed that people were being racist.

Shame on her.

PS They are living near me!

Dohraymefar · 15/10/2026 15:50

I don’t find it remotely wonderful.

The only wonder is how they’ve got the sheer nerve to behave the way they do.

PropertyD · 15/10/2026 15:51

I certainly dont hate them. I have never met them. But - all the media coverage, the Spare book, the Oprah interview.

I suspect that they will flounce off evenutally claiming everyone has been horrible. Dont let the door hit your bottom on the way out!

NO ONE CARES! STOP BRIEFING OUT WHAT YOU ARE UP TO AND DEMANDING GOVERNMENT FUNDING SECURITY.

How do we know that he hasn't agreed to it?

Idayatatime……..there is a Royal Family board for this crap.

Cloverroll · 15/10/2026 15:57

I have no idea why they've come back here, but brass neck describes it for me.

I did think this. The late Queen didnt want they half in and half out and surely what is next is that both of them start bluyrring boundaries and trying to do exactly what the Queen was trying to avoid. Thinking of preaching on Net Zero and taking private jets (for security purposes of course!!).

I have been of the belief for a long time that they will get the HIHO that QEII advisors denied them.

This engagement today has a lot of very clever PR behind it... love the warm colour Meghan wore; I think that was chosen very, very carefully. Also, there was a lovely moment when she looked torn between approaching the 'public' and greeting the host.

So they are not allowed to visit the charities they have a long connection with... it's just nonsense?
Really?

How does that work with famous people who are private citizens and also have strong connections with charities, should they not visit their charities also because it's nonsense?

Good for them. I hope they keep doing it. It has certainly made William & Kate pull their finger out these last few weeks.

RandomUserName12345 · 15/10/2026 16:18

They should have stayed in America. No need for them here.

Need? They obviously wish to be here and why shouldn't they be here?

They cannot carry out Royal duties, but they are acting as if they are.
