A 'new hairstyle' is a bad idea after Nadine Dorries' 'the PoW needs a makeover' story in the DM.

It's a real trivialisation of the mother of a future king, that a royal woman's role only comes down to how she's wearing her hair to get one over on her SIL 😡

OT can't believe Aberfan was 60 years ago...😢

And having lunch with Ellen Degenerate is also self explanatory, birds of a feather flock together ..

This is an unacceptable nickname to use against the first openly gay main character on an American sitcom. However you mean it, it’s not OK.

Nadine Dorries is no intellectual heavyweight. PoW has no need to fret. Her authority comes from her position.

Diana once put her hair up for a state occasion and that eclipsed everything in the media the next day but yes I suppose a new hairstyle for POW is trite (as I said originally).
Hope I’m wrong but suspect it will be

It will be interesting to see the difference in coverage between Wales and Nottingham - I predict Nottingham and so the RF certainly DO need to play them at their own game.
HaM could have been dealt with earlier ie remove titles and line of succession - this isn’t impossible to do, instead it’s been left too long and now they’re back and will be everywhere.

Why?

Only one 'side' here are C list wannabes chasing headlines and clicks. And that's not the senior royals. Why stoop to the Sussexes' level?

Of course the RF/MIG play media games!

Why would Royal Rota be there for HAM ??? Palace letter was very clear, I thought

QEII was allegedly very crorss about that new up-do.

My score for tomorrow is Windsors 1 Sussex 0. That's because of the weight of the Aberfan story and the tendancy of the Sussex to sabotage themselves.

The letter was clear but Royal Knicker et al are still writing about the Sussexes.

Press will be there in force in my opinion - perhaps even Alison Hammond like last time.
Newspapers and TV will definitely cover this visit Royal Rota or not.

All public figures play 'media games' to some extent. Including the royals.

However, they've done very well for the past several years by greyrocking the increasingly desperate Sussexes. The royals see the long term. It really doesn't matter who is on the cover of The Express on Friday morning.

What's the worst thing H&M have done that justifies 50+ threads of vitriol, and has a worse and wider impact than the various humanitarian and charity stuff they've done?

African Parks - Harry was president, appealed to by Baka. Daily Mail investigation needed to stop abuses.
Archewell - look at Charity Watch rating and comments.
Pat Tidwell Awards - Tidwell's mother asked him not to accept. Booed at event.
Disaster Tourist in LA.
Insulted John Travolta at bogus aviation award.
Sued by Sentebale. Hasn't been in Lesotho at least 5 years.
Put respectable reporters in hell for years in ANL lawsuit. Then insulted the judge publically.
Shoved unknown pill in mouth of off duty reporter.
Bodyguard shoved NY citizen who was just walking down the street.

On the last thread it was discussed whether Meghan’s products would be produced here or shipped from the US.

Neither, in my opinion.

I read something saying that due to food regulations her consumable products won’t be on sale here, only the candles and other tat like the bookmarks.

I suspect nothing more is going to be produced at all, she’s got an abundance of stock she needs to shift. If I had to guess she’ll have a shipment sent over of whatever she can sell here, try to get some of it into places like Daylesford or Soho Farmhouse a bit like she did with the Godmothers bookshop pop up, and sell online, contracting a local fulfilment house to manage orders.

It’s all smoke and mirrors to make it look like her business isn’t failing when in reality this is just a desperate attempt to shift stock she can’t sell in the US. No doubt she’ll get some sales - she does have some fans after all, though I can never understand why.

Btw yes, it was reported that the Queen was livid at the time……Diana 1 - QE 0 that day, but then I’ve always been a Diana fan.

The 'royal rota' are just hacks. They have no special status. They'll go where they're sent by their publications.

The Palace letter was simply reminding everyone that the Sussexes are private citizens who do not represent the Monarchy. There was no reference to media coverage.

So you're saying admitting suicidal thoughts is worthy of ignoring all the humanitarian and charitable work they've done?

And because you don't like them, anything they claim that caused/causes them distress has to be a lie?

Pretty much all of this is conjecture, and it's all personal/family stuff right? They're not actively harming or demeaning anyone outside of the family politics.

Out of interest, if a friend told you they'd had suicidal thoughts or attempts, even if you thought that friend was occasionally self-centred or had a rocky relationship with a family member, would you say they were lying?

This has all been gone over so many times on here. If you want to know why pps don't like them - read up on some of the threads around the time of the OW interview, the NF series and the publication of Spare.

Please don't come out with the old, old chestnut about people having opinions about a couple they don't know. It's daft. They went to great trouble to tell us ALL about themselves in the above (and other) ways, so we know lots and lots about them. And, as has been said about a thousand times, of course we all have valid opinions about people we don't know - it's weird to suggest otherwise.

If you see vitriol, I'd be amazed, frankly. It's another tired (exhausted, surely?) cliche on here. What you are seeing on these threads is criticism and often amusement, satire, people having a bit of a laugh. I've never seen vitriol about them on here.

RF could easily grey rock when they were all in California but now they are here and are getting a lot of coverage almost daily - including MN of course!!

Our scoring system is quite simplistic. If it's column inches that are counted, the Sussexes could win. If the score is about message positivity, it's a Windsor win.

You forgot Harry slapped life guard on the bottom when he bent down to pick up kayak at Bondi beach event.

QEII was allegedly very crorss about that new up-do.

Considering it detracted from the coverage of the state opening of parliament and the new legislative programme HM's speech announced you can understand it. But then Diana had a bit of form for 'look at me, not anyone else.'

And, with M's past record, it wouldn't surprise me if she's simply bored with As Ever now. She's had her fun with it and now just wants to leave it behind, I bet.

Look at all the other initiatives which were trumpeted so loudly but never came to anything (40 x 40, or something? , Archewell etc etc).

Didn't it take her ages to get the paperwork done to set up 'As Ever'? I agree that no way is she going to go through all the bureaucracy of getting permission to sell her white label 'food' outside the United States.

Honestly, I'm surprised she hasn't already wound up 'As Ever'. She can't be making much, if any, money from it and I doubt she has any great passion for selling relabelled fruit spread and flower sprinkles. We know she gets tired of projects when they don't produce instant results, so I'd expected her to have already dumped 'As Ever' by now.

Perhaps she could sell it to Highgrove.

Yes, but why would they care about 'coverage'? Katie Price also gets lots of 'coverage'.

It's not a competition. If it were, there would be only one winner, and that's not the Sussexes.

Have these come about before or after the relocation? If after might just be opportunists jumping on the bandwagon of their increased profile from the move?

Is there any consistent pattern / message coming thru them? Are they all about pre PH?

No, there area a fair few of them supposedly investigating the surrogacy rumours, and expansions of apparent evidence.
