Worth remembering that the Mail has 'Harry's friend' Bryony Gordon on the strength and presumably a direct source for any stories they want made public. A while back (might have been on here) there was a suggestion that she had been taken on by the Mail to give them a direct source to HAM.

Obviously I have no idea if she IS still a friend of H, but it's a possibility that's what's happening.

Talking of the European Royals- I was struck by how warm and respectful William was with everyone at the king of Norway's funeral. Harry in Spare talked about how Charles 'droned on about European royals who were relatives' and Harry tuned out because it was boring. He really isn't fit to represent the monarch.

There is speculation on X that HAM may consider using the foiled RAF Fairford in their security bid, arguing that they were the second target. But of course. Two individuals can easily occupy the same terrorist brain capacity as a conflict between the Middle East's most powerful state and the once leader of the free world.

So a couple of questions ...

Why does he need six photogs when surely the usual thing now is to have one or two who share the images?

And is that grunt standing on the far left security (I didn't think the teacher looked like that) and if so why the need to be so prominent?

God, security. In a school. Did he think the kids were going to throw rotten fruit at him?

This reflects very badly on the school, which should have asked questions to build up a clear picture before agreeing to the visit. Invictus is also a shambles as the event organiser. What should have happened: only official photographers and videographers - mobile phones handed in (pupils shouldn't have them now anyway), head present and introducing H, a veteran included, H formally dressed, Invictus branding in the classroom, inspirational Invictus film shown before activity, parents invited, pupil interviewing the veteran, the activity being properly introduced by someone involved in developing it, max three videographers and 2 x private photographers ie not press; talking head pupils on what they learnt from the activity, editing of footage before posting.

The purpose of the event was to launch activities which will be given to all Birmingham schools. Let's see how that goes!
