I'm not sure if there's any point continuing this discussion with all the hyperdefensive 'so whats'? and failure to engage with any points made. But I'll give it another try.
No-one said it was the most popular... just one of the most streamed shows.
But it wasn't. I posted a link above and it's not in NF's Top Ten. Do your own research if you prefer. It was successful but it simply wasn't 'one of the most streamed shows'.
You have no idea what would have happened from Suits,
Obviously it's hypothetical yes. But look at her costars from Suits. None of them have enjoyed any great success, and arguably they were more talented and had more name recognition (pre Harry) than Meghan. Of course we can't say for sure, but it doesn't seem likely Meghan would have gone on to great things in the acting world post Suits.
Maybe she thought she could make a go of her businesses? She's allowed to fail isn't she? Don't the majority of businesses fail?
So what if she doesn't get any more acting roles? Does that make her a failed actor?
Dear lord what's with all the questions!
My point, which you won't listen to as you're so desperate to defend Meghan, is that while she did better than the vast majority of actresses, she only had one real role. That doesn't make her a 'failed actor', just a minor actor like any number of others who would walk down the street without anyone having a clue who they are.
And an actress who can spend nearly 7 years down the road from Hollywood without showing any interest in her craft is probably not someone with any real dedication to the profession. I very much doubt she can just pick up her acting career at this point. But we'll see.
