KC can of course still have the titles removed if he decides to, but he passed up a couple of golden opportunities to do this over the last 12 months or so. If he’d acted sooner then it’s possible the couple may have thought twice before coming back to live in the U.K.

They would still have to return, if the visa story is true. But agree, too many missed opportunities

TBH the best time to have done it was when their trial year was up and they confirmed they weren't coming back. Of course the Queen was very elderly then, (and still protecting Andrew) so all in all she wasn't up to it. But it was around then in September 2022 that Queen Margrethe II of Denmark announced she was removing the "Prince" and "Princess" titles from four of her grandchildren, the children of her younger son, Prince Joachim. It would have been a good time to follow suit.

@ShamedBySiri Thanks for posting the video link!

My advice to William and Catherine:

-have someone watch the kids for a day

  • watch The Godfather Parts 1 & 2 (we all pretend there is no Part 3)
  • take notes
  • plan the long game. You'll win in the end.

It’s so ridiculous that the papers are falling into their trap of reporting this nonsense about the Guy Ritchie series….all planned to be leaked today to cover the news that Harry is going to have to pay out millions.

Series 2 of The Gentlemen which starts in Sept, gets a tonne of free publicity

Nothing will come of the ‘talks’ and the story will move on.

So everyone got something out of it!

This was my thinking too. Some clever PR work to sandwhich the 9.5 million.

Are HAM the only non working royals with titles ??

To think that in 2019 I was already sighing 'jesus make it stop.' We've got bloody decades of this gobshitery ahead of us. But they've moved from across the aisle to sit right next to us on the bus performing their smug, vacuous drivel & trying to force eye contact and hugs.

Does anyone think that "Meghan in talks with Guy Ritchie" means that Meghan is frantically calling (and ranting at Guy's voicemail) begging for a role so that she can somehow justify her return to the UK.

Didn't her last attempt - a cameo on a film - end up on the cutting room floor because it was so bad and they got fed up with her grandiose demands.

Edited

Is it another Dior moment?

Refreshed my memory of the Nigella Lawson visa incident.
I imagine she was able to prove she was no longer using drugs? And her visa was for a short working period.
As opposed to Harry who was already living over there. Quite different circumstances.

Well done to the Heritage Foundation for pursuing this.

AI Overview

In March 2014, British TV chef Nigella Lawson was blocked from boarding a Los Angeles-bound flight at Heathrow Airport following her previous court admissions of past drug use. The U.S. Embassy subsequently invited her to formally apply for a travel visa, and she was later granted a waiver to resume travel for work. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Background and Travel Restrictions
The Incident: Lawson was stopped from boarding a British Airways flight after admitting during a 2013 fraud trial involving former staff members that she had taken cocaine on a few rare occasions. 1, 2, 3]
U.S. Rules: Under U.S. immigration law, admitting to past drug offenses (even without a formal criminal conviction) can render a foreign national inadmissible under standard Visa Waiver Program / ESTA rules.1, 2]

Nigella Lawson invited to apply for US visa after being turned back at Heathrow

US embassy says TV chef's application to visit US after cocaine use admission would be handled 'routinely and expeditiously'

Nile Gardiner did not pull any punches in that video. I'm stunned. Well worth watching. I think even Kevin O'Sullivan was thrown by Nile.

He certainly didn't. He's determined but unfortunately, as with everything Harry, will all be forgotten about

Just Beatrice and Eugenie, I think?

Apparently HaM aren’t their friends any more.

Well then. One swoop. All non working royals lose titles.

Ma'am very much is a Southern thing in the USA. So basically Virginia, North & South Carolina, Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Florida, Texas, Georgia, etc.

You would not hear "ma'am" in super hippie dippie woo-woo California, especially in the entertainment industry filled with plastic-surgery enhanced people petrified of aging. Being called ma'am would cause your typical actress to shrivel up and die of horror on the spot.

I've definitely been called ma'am in california. Its just a standard polite greeting ie "How can i help you ma'am/sir". Sometimes they say "miss", which I appreciate lol but it is ubiquitous everywhere IMO. Its more of an impersonal greeting though, like in a store or something. Making people who know you and work for you call you that is a bit weird.

Aussie tv reported the guy ritchie show.
I will cancel Netflix if that is the case
They also reported majority of uk residents don't care they are coming back, just a few for and against but majority not bothered. Pretty sure that's not the case

I disagree.

I don't think most people care, I don't! I do enjoy the soap.opera elements, which is why i am here 😁 But I haven't heard any one in RL mention it. When they flounced, yes. The OW interview, yes. Not these days.

I don't think many people take them seriously any more. It's like a long running Wagatha Christie - all froth and speculation and 'OMG I can't believe he/she said that'.

The more seriously they take themselves the funnier it gets.

Edited for typo

Perhaps if he does now want money from his father this will be the control?

What a sad state of affairs for a man with cancer, king or not, to have to pay his stupid, self obsessed son to stop trying to destroy the family and the family business.

Or his mother Queen of paying off a woman who accuses the Queens son of sexual assault

Or 'Hi-ho, hi-ho, it's off to work we go!'
Seems an apt suggestion (apologies to Snow White & Co for the spelling)

I’m not so sure I believe the acting talks. I think they are a distraction tbh from the costs that came out yesterday. It’s Dior all over again.

The stuff from the pair of them is going to be relentless. The media will fall for it every time. At some point, the RF may well be forced into saying something, instead of grey rocking, as they are on the doorstep. God what a vicious pair.

Raspbellies · Today 07:38

If they'd stayed in California they would have ended up as relevant as Edward VIII and Wallis Simpson. Even Meghan benefits from being in the UK.

AtIusvue · Today 07:47

Excuse 514:

The last-minute nature of the decision to move back from California is a result of the sudden availability of places for their children at the school where they had been on a waiting list, The Telegraph understands.

We’ve had :

  • to be able to grow up with their aunts/uncles and cousins ( sorry, what cousins? Name names?)
  • Because Meg is possibly talks about possibly appearing in a show that might possibly my get a third series
  • That a British upbringing/schooling is important….even if everything they’ve said in the past, made out this would be the worse thing imaginable and actually had to move countries to protect their kids from it.

Literally no one believes this.
