A different bride and this would have been possible, but Meghan (and possibly Harry) wanted to be the brightest star in the universe.

The kids certainly won’t be unveiled at a RF public event, she will make a few million out of them first

it wasn’t a dinner party as we know it. It was a fundraiser for some gardens in Montecito. Martha was the official special guest and keynote speaker.
Whether Meghan paid for a ticket or someone invited her as their plus one who knows - it sounds like she managed to get herself seated at the top table with Martha if they were on the same table.

If H and M are there then I think the Wales family will be with the Middletons

I agree that would be te obvious thing to do, @Mylovelygreendress, and isn't it said that thhe Middletons stay at Anmer for Christmas anyway, so that W&K can split things between the two?

However, despite the media nonsense I still find it hard to believe that Charles would actually have them there, but he's made so many other dreadful choices that I'm assuming nothing

I can't actually think of a worse role model to any child, let alone a royal, than Uncle Hazbeen, William is wise to keep him well away from from his own children!

Well as @Morelovelyandtemperate says , nothing's fair and equal in the sense that most of us would understand it between siblings with W&H because W will be King one day. However, what H might have reflected upon is nothing is fair and equal in a general sense in H having absolutely no money worries , having his life organised for him and being able to spend a large amount of his time dealing with charities in which he is interested rather than having to earn money to keep his family in great style simply because he was born the 2nd son of the King. And rather than be thanking goodness he was in that position he chose to make himself out to be hard done by, and threw it away out of , to my mind , a misguided sense of grievance. And many people , quite naturally, have no sympathy with him.

I tend to agree with you . It’s not just W and C who would be against it , can you imagine Anne ? Anne whose beloved mother was trashed by H and M?
I suspect there will be a lot more leaking before the year is over!

Possibly, but if they're decent people I'd think it more likely that they'll just keep a discreet distance and go on treating H&M with the disdain they deserve.
There's little point feeding them even more things to whine about - though admittedly it's entertaining for the rest of us - and if they fail to twig the overall contempt they now attract that's really a matter for them

I agree, though, about Anne having something to say if they wanted to show their wretched faces with the RF in public, but then I'd have given a lot to see her "welcoming" Harry to Balmoral when the Queen died

That is just perfect!

Martha was obviously keeping a keen eye on the grifter. She would know that Meghan was not there for the charity but for her own PR. This is the reputation Meghan has built and carries now - not interested in the cause just about herself.

I can’t imagine Sophie would want to be anywhere near them after the way they both treated HMTQ and Prince Philip, she admirably did her duty sitting in the car with Meghan at the Queen’s funeral, and frankly she deserves a medal for that, I doubt for one single second she would sit at the same Christmas dinner table with either of them knowing the distress they caused two people she loved dearly. It’s not just the Wales family who the alleged return would affect, it would also cause upset to the wider family as well, if KC is a kind man as is often said then he won’t put his family through that upset, and if he has any sense he will know the HAMS only want to attend for the money shot and not for any genuine family reconciliation.

The clap back smacks of desperation and being found out. Loose lips couldn’t keep her trap shut and was lording it all over everyone with her only piece of social capital - however KC3 would have insisted that details were private on condition of further communication and trust. But she’s been exposed. Balmoral won’t be happening.

I'm seeing images of HaM at a David Foster Gala event... Harry's hair seems to have grown back! Meghan looks nice - although her hair is a bit severe. I think the she is dressed well.

I always think there is an effort to say that they've been long term friends, known each other a long time, etc in any of these articles written about them when they are out and about. A bit like in WLM where they made out the guests were great friends of the hostess but that didn't seem to ring true.

As someone who lives in NE Scotland I don’t want HAM anywhere near however I think M watching the Highland Games on a blustery day would be fun .

Would they really want to come back and do a public walk at Sandringham etc? surely they know they would get booed? Cant imagine MM would want that to happen? Especially as she felt so 'humiliated' over the trip to England last month.

After the ANL debacle I expect every media outlet now keeps detailed logs as to where every story originates. It seems fairly common that ham are their own sources. Not to put to finer point on it but they don't seem to have any close friends who they speak to only staff.
