As I said, I have no problem with Hamlets. Quite sweet. I love the nickname my DCs have got based on their surname. They love it too!

I didn't like the shudder if they grow up like their parents. Let the children be! This is a form of bullying two little ones.
And I don't agree with StarryIfty that it has been proven their parents are horrible people. It's all a matter of opinion isn't it? I think different opinions are allowed on a forum last I heard correct me if I'm wrong 🤣👍🏼

I think:

A proven racist (using his own words), proven liar (using his own words, published and under oath), someone who is demonstrably vindictive (in his own words in print and in interviews ), completely drug addled(in his own words), someone who can’t keep his hands to himself (caught numerous times on film), someone who has punched down and tried to destroy the careers of several female journalists; and

A proven liar (proven to have admitted to lying, proven that her stories are false or embellished) who is willing to kiss up to a rich, titled man she accused of racism but not her own father whom she always professed to adore and credits with her success; and

A pair of utter hypocrites who are using their clout to shut down free speech, especially online free speech (eg through Archewell funded think tank studies, the Aspen institute, collaboration with WHO on a matter that has nothing to do with them), whilst exploiting their own children online for commercial gain, and having one of the worst online hate groups acting in their name against anyone who disagrees with them,

have adequately proven in their own words and actions that they are objectively horrible people.

Just my opinion.

He's a proven liar, misogynist (his book talks about how unattractive a female member of staff was and she didn't make him horny. There is so much actual evidence not just here say.

The first step is paying 325 bucks . Also shocked to see you have to pay for your own statue 😂

Edited

You have pay for stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame as well. $$tens of thousands. And promise to bring your luvvie mates to the unveiling for the cameras. That’s how people like the Beckhams get one.

And that’s exactly ‘how Hollywood works’.

’Show me the money!’

Lunde · 15/07/2026 13:07

I think Sussexlets is worse than Hamlets.

Lunde · 15/07/2026 12:29

The Wales' kids are frequently referred to as Waleslings - do you have a problem with that as well?

I never said I have a problem with shortening names and actually I didn't know there was a frequent term for them and was just saying if that's how you shorten referencing the children of H&M then for W&K it would W&Klets. So why are you asking if I would have a problem? How very odd.

Didn't Meghan's father win an Emmy? She might particularly want that one.

Her father was highly respected in the industry before he retired, it would have been well deserved.

Aprilfountain · 15/07/2026 13:16

Daverik · 15/07/2026 12:33

Hmm. I don't think Meghan is on this forum, but I wouldn't be surprised if one or two of her employees are. Social media management is very much a thing.

Yes, that does make sense tbh, Meg's minions doing the work and then reporting back to her, some posts do sound uncannily like her but it's probably just a coincidence lol!

If getting a Hollywood star is as simple as paying a fee, why doesn’t Kim Kardashian have a star on the Walk of Fame?

She is a is a billionare. She could easily afford that fee a thousand times over, and she openly wanted a star for years.

By your logic, she should have just bought one. But she couldn't. Because the fee is only a part of the initial entry process it does not get you to the next step.

And in fact for the stsr you don't pay the fee first you pay it after they agree to it.

This ks how this and other things like the Emmy awards words, you submit, paying a fee to cover the costs and then you sre either accepted or rejected, money has no bearing on that decision.

But hey let's just ignore reality.

I didn't say he wasn't, I was just wondering if it would be particularly wanted by Meghan for that reason.

Manymanyyearsago · 15/07/2026 13:35

No, I didn't agree with you. You have opinions, I have them too. Just because you think they are 'horrible', it doesn't mean it is proven that everyone on this god given planet agrees with you because you have proof, that's plain daft!
We differ in opinion, that is quite refreshing and no problem whatsoever.

AtIusvue · 15/07/2026 13:37

This is hysterical.

Whats with the sudden invasion of those believing Meg EARNED an Emmy nomination 😂

All these award shows, huge amounts of money is spent on campaigning to get nominations.

I bet you this was the last deal with NF before they pulled the plug on her career.

jeffgoldblum · 15/07/2026 13:37

Manymanyyearsago · 15/07/2026 11:25

Are 'hamlets' their little children? If so, that's a bit off saying that surely? Who talks about children like that 🫨😮

Ham is just short for Harry and Meghan! , I should know I started it because I couldn’t be assed typing out “Harry and Meghan “ every single time! , so someone else coined .. hamlets , very obviously it’s short for Harry and Meghans little ones! , stop trying to manufacture outrage and insults where none exists!

MaturingCheeseball · 15/07/2026 13:41

Snort. Reminds me of ages ago when a poster was shrieking “Reported!!” when a poster called Meghan a nincompoop.

jeffgoldblum · 15/07/2026 13:42

TheHatTrick · 15/07/2026 12:24

What does that face mean, please?

It normally signifies “ snide! “ the poster thinks they are being clever! , they are not!! 🤷‍♀️

Sorry jeffgoldblum, I have said about 5 times that I have no problem with the naming of hamlets for the little children. Can you look back at my posts and see? I think it's quite sweet and well done on coming up with hamlets to begin with!
It was the 'shudder' how awful the children might be like their parents I didn't like.

Edited to say, just seen you didn't come up with the name hamlets. Soz.

Kim Kardashian does not have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame because the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce historically excludes reality television as an eligible category.

To get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, anyone (including fans) can nominate a celebrity, provided the celebrity or their management signs a letter of consent. The process requires an application fee of $275, followed by an $85,000 sponsorship fee if selected, which covers the star's creation, installation, and perpetual maintenance

Meanwhile, Meghan is 'fuming' that people apparently might suggest that she and Harry are using their children to try ti get additional security.

Story in the Express (archive link) https://archive.is/7ayQl
taken from the original story in Closer (archive link) https://archive.is/nbDXK - dated Monday, but apparently written before their visit with the King, where the 'source' appears to suggest she thinks the story is coming from the palace

What makes it a thousand times worse is that she’s sure that a lot of this ugly narrative is being sanctioned, or even pushed, by people behind the palace walls, that truly sickens her.

I agree with Manymanyyearsago

We should leave the dc out of this

And I for one disagree that H & M are horrible people, None of us know them so can’t make that judgement. Our impression of them is viewed through a prism of edited books for sake, edited interviews for sale, You tube videos and podcasts made for likes and subscribers and so on. Everyone has an angle. Even publishers of autobiographies and literary agents.

Even if they are they not very nice people they are not the equivalent of the anti-Christ equivalent they are made out to be on here! All of the relentless nit-picking, jeering and nastiness heaped on them every day is totally disproportionate to what they have actually done.

I think if people were exercising good comprehension skills they would come to the conclusion that not everything that H & M does = bad and not everything that KC & C, and W & C do is good! That is not the way the world works in reality, Especially as we know that every time the curtain is pushed back on royal housing or finances, some serious dodginess has been discovered eg King Charles and his bags of cash and the cash for honours enquiry and a well known valet taking the fall three times and then being bought a house in Highgate.

They are all dodgy to varying degrees! Harry is just more honest about it! He said the whole point of writing Spare was to put all of the bad out there about himself because all of the journos write about it relentlessly anyway, And I admire him for that. Even though all the material from the book is now used as a stick to beat him with. The RF on the other hand, rarely admit to getting things wrong!

Fair enough, most TV & Movie awards have the same process of subnit and pay a fee to cover the costs of administrating everything and then a panel of people decide who gets through. So simply saying they paid x amount doesn't equate to buying an award.
