Not just catherine, all of them. She literally thought she could walk in front of the queen, charles, camilla etc, and did just that more than once, and that she would be the real star of the family. She couldn't take being reprimanded and told that no, that's not actually how it works and that there are rules so she flounced off. somehow she thought she had the pull to bring down the institution of the RF and set up a parallel one with Harry and her being on a par if not more popular. Utter delusion.

PH indicated that he wanted A&L to have a public role this week and previously he said he wante to ‘hand the IG gig on to A’ - so they are pushing open doors for their DCs to either have the option of being WTF or having enough royal adjacency that powers their PR efforts in other fields.

There’s no way they would admit Harry’s kids. I can’t imagine they struggle to fill it (and how would he know if there were places or not). I’m sure in any case that his ridiculous security demands would be excuse enough not to have A+L at the school.

Dont think the meeting with KC was anything except awkward for the grown ups. Harry was all smiles because everyone was watching out for his storming out in a rage. So he had to smile and look happy. I expect he knows his visa wont be renewed.

dont want a single penny of public money spent on this pair, or their dc. I dont want to see them with other royals as working royals or hangers on. Any charity they represent wont get a penny off me, the risk of the money being used badly is too high.

I know lots of people talk about MM post divorce and her memoirs etc but the RF and their aides are not stupid . They will have sussed out Meghan at the beginning ( William certainly did) and am pretty sure they are prepared for a divorce .

It is a legitimate matter for debate however why any person should not walk in front, or behind, another. IMHO people have innate equal value in themselves no matter where, or to whom, they were born. All of this curtseying, doffing of caps, adorning themselves with jewels, is actually made up nonsense to “other” them in order protect their privilege! I can’t believe how many people support it so blindly!

Strange. Harry and Meghan expect - they still do - people to bow and curtsey, call them Sir and Ma',am, doff their caps and defer. Meghan has a coronet on her notepaper. A journalist was presented to her with an announcement by the housekeeper of her title. There was only them in the house.

If they expect people to walk behind them and defer to them, it works both ways. They enjoy the status and privilege, but it does have drawbacks.
They love it all. Just not when anyone is ahead of them in the hierarchy.

I agree that this will be the scenario too. I can also see her leaving her kids in UK boarding schools whilst she concentrates on herself and living her best life. Once they leave school she'll be stuck to their sides being papped everywhere.

Her USP in America is that she has royal children - a British Prince and Princess - a few years absorbing max royal adjacency and upper class Britishness including the accent is time and money well spent to boost her brand / USP in the US. Currently it’s not translating with the barefoot Cali kiddos - that market is saturated - she needs to differentiate - so she needs to reinvent them for a brand refresh. It would only be for a year or two then she would whip them back to Cali and leave their decomposing disheveled Dad to be cared for by his family and friends in the UK. Saves her the bother.

She left him high and dry this week in his desperate very public hour of need. Why didn’t she support him. Why did she hide? This is her MO - we’ve seen her do it to best friends, colleagues, close family - when the shit hits the fan she scarpers and looks after no 1. This is what she will

Definitely agree with the first part, Mylovelygreendress, but if it's mostly about the title for her, the one she's already using (Meghan Duchess of Sussex) is that of a divorced woman, so no change would be needed

Admittedly she'd no longer be able to bring on Harry for a cameo shot in her silly appearances, but since that's about the only use he appears to have would it really matter?
