IMHO, the broader issue is the enablers beginning with KC3 and including Invictus leadership (in particular Chair Lord Allen and CEO Rob Owen).
Instead of disciplining H, KC3 chose to protect his second son from consequences. H's lived experience is that a long, loud temper tantrum gets him what he wants, so H is executing a strategy that succeeded for the first thirty-five years of his life.
Lord Allen cannot credibly state that H is a net positive for Invictus from a fund-raising and reputational standpoint. As for CEO Rob Owen, if someone with rudimentary accounting knowledge can look at the redacted Invictus information and raise their eyebrows...I find it hard to believe that Owen is unaware of the numerous financial red flags.
Sophie Chandauka stood up to H and withstood his huffing and puffing, as well as the vitriol unleased by the vicious squad. The fact that none of these three men, who are in a far stronger position than SC, have taken any steps to protect the veterans from H makes me side-eye all three.
