The PH/AMW punching incident is yet another example of a Sussex PR fail when Harry a) released a statement about it and then b) doubled down with a denial.

The lack of criticism levelled at AMW sticks out like a sore thumb.🤔

I expect journalists are sitting on some info that H&M wouldn’t want being made public. If they want journalists to keep it that way then best they don’t try and be clever and play them ……whoops, too late!

The sheer nerve and arrogance of Harry complaining about the “leaking and planting” and he has a WhatsApp group to tip off his favourite journalists plus directly e mails Page 6 himself. I hope the ANL judgment annihilates him.

Having looked it up, the punch was thrown in 2013, after AMW said disparaging stuff about H behind H's back.

Who have I insulted? Telling some they got something wrong is just a factual and straightforward acknowledgement that they made a mistake and it isn't a problem that they did. It might be blunt but it isn't insulting.

Indeed . There are a couple of photos which show M and friends on the same yacht as AMW.

So someone in the family actually gave H proper advice and it was AMW? That’s bonkers. Mind you, I think most people, even if they were happy for the couple, saw M as an opportunist.

The Yorks and the Sussexes have always been good friends. Meghan knew Eugenie before she knew Harry. All good friends.

I've always thought that if Harry & Meghan had been quite vague and said something like "we found out things that we weren't comfortable with so we ended up leaving. We think any parent would have done the same thing", we would now assume it was related to AMW and there would now be more sympathy for them. Sometimes you can say too much

That wouldn't have made sense, because out of all of the RF, H&M were very friendly with the York family.

Shift seems to have ended. Without us finding out how we can buy ourselves a Bobby for the next time we visit the troublesome in-laws.

I think now, although it didn’t occur to me when I first read it, that it might have been a typo and they meant “we all know you can’t buy the police”. Which is equally nonsensical, because in that case, why did Harry complain that he wasn’t allowed to buy the police if we all know you can’t 🤷‍♀️
