That sounds both likely and sweet. Unfortunately Harry wasn't at the lunch or whatever it was because about 20 minutes after the end of the service he was heading for Heathrow.

I did think that the powers that be didn't actually HAVE to pick the day of Archie's birthday - a week either way wouldn't have made much difference - but I guess for us plebs it did mean a nice long weekend, which is possibly more important than the birthday of a six year old on the other side of the Atlantic.

Of course, Harry had no idea that the date of the Coronation was decided by Parliament.
He probably doesn't know what Parliament is.

All I can remember is how he swaggered in, only to be stuck behind the huge red plume on Anne’s hat. If I ever open a pub, I will call it the Plume and Candle. We’ll offer a nice cheeseboard without a flower sprinkle in sight!

That plume should have a proper name. It made global headlines. What do you think Princess Anne would call it?

I actually genuinely think that Eurovision, which was hosted by Liverpool the following weekend, would have had more of an impact. Plus all the extra May Bank Holidays, more than usual influx of foreign visitors etc.
