Can’t see a new thread so thought I would start a new one to continue discussing the grifters

So nothing’s changed.

Harry’s caved.

Harry’s the boss of Meghan. He’s ‘bringing his wife’.

I am still in the “ I’ll believe it when I see it camp . “

However the Mail understands that as has previously been the case, Harry and his family have been offered accommodation on the Royal estate for use during a potential visit.
He has previously been offered accommodation at Buckingham Palace but turned it down claiming it wasn't secure enough.

The palace position remains clear that all matters of security are for the Home Office to decide upon.
It is not the case that His Majesty plays, or could play, a determinant role in that process, nor has he made any private undertakings to his son.

I think the RF has done a very good job on the whole in refusing to comment on most of the stories the Sussexes put out.
I am glad that they have officially commented on the security one, given that it is again being suggested that the King might act unconstitutionally.

H says BP isn’t secure enough?! The palace with the massive fence and the soldiers and armed police?! He’s unwell.

PullTheBricksDown · Yesterday 17:39

Had forgotten the security is a Home Office matter. Can't see Shabana Mahmood folding on that 😃

A more measured article by Rebecca English. The King and Queen are scheduled to be in Scotland in early July so a meeting between H and KC might not be simple to arrange .
I still think all this is Sussex driven as they are desperate for Royal adjacency.

Yes, I'm very glad that this has been clarified. Harry completely misrepresents the role of the monarch, to the detriment of the UK's reputation.

Picture

You need to click on the picture for the whole of the lowest text to appear - it says that there has been no offer of additional security

Edited

This is interesting - so it looks like smoke and mirrors to disguise that this visit is just like all Harry’s previous ones, when it was too dangerous to bring the children. Now somehow it isn’t, despite the security and accommodation offer being exactly the same. So Harry is just trying to obscure the fact that he is a hypocrite who has abandoned his principles, either because he is desperate for money and hopes his father will oblige, or because his wife has persuaded him that her failing brand needs the press attention that a family trip to the UK will bring.

He's just so important, ordinary walls can't keep out the rampaging danger.

If this is all from the Sussex camp, then it shows they are failing and aren’t living their best life. Which some of us have suspected for a while…

However, KC is human and he may still wish to have some relationship with his son and grandchildren and I just hope he doesn’t end up too hurt.

A more measured article by Rebecca English

Apart from this bit, did she type this with a straight face?

The couple have been fiercely protective of Archie and Lilibet's privacy, very rarely sharing photos of them, and even then their faces are usually obscured.

Yes because sharing pictures of your child in the bath and constant pictures of your dishevelled children to sell your tat is being fiercely protective of their privacy, she’s made herself look a complete fool writing that.

abigailll · Yesterday 17:51

I hope H&M don’t drag A&L along to Well Child or Scottie’s Little Soldiers to Lord it over the unfortunate children who benefit from these charities.

And they have not even set foot in the country yet, imagine the leaks once they get the keys to a royal residence, maybe Meghan will give us a guided tour of the private apartments on her Instagram page.

noonames · Yesterday 17:56

Basically, things in Montecito are evidently so bad that Harry has completely rolled over. He has realised that his tantrum has backfired spectacularly - the RF are doing fine without him and have no need or desire to reconcile. (Except maybe Charles, although I don’t see much evidence of that, given that he avoided even mentioning, let alone visiting them, on his trip to USA.)

Now Harry’s new life has fallen flat and he’s coming back hoping for a handout. Of course, he can’t actually say - I was wrong, I’m sorry, I should never have said those things, I understand now that I need you more than you need me - because of the pathologically enormous ego. I hope Charles is too busy to see him.

Isn't Frogmore Cottage technically a Royal residence they can stay at?

Exactly that. He’s just so embarrassing - trying to lie and twist the documented facts - which in the internet are all there for the world to see at in one click.

I am totally fascinated tho in how they will attempt to monetise this trip? Will MM be wearing her infamous flapping shorts and flip-flops for the world to purchase?

Maybe she will be doing a ‘fire-side’ chat at the Premier Inn on the services at the M42 junction?

I can’t wait to see how they will spin the kids royal adjacency visit - when they can’t show their faces (H&M decision) or acknowledge that they have seen KC3 (KC3 decision).

Maybe we will see more footage of PH (this time with his wife and DCs) on ring doorbells across the land …..

But how can they when they've made such a fuss of not showing their faces? There will be photographers at both, not to mention people with their phones out.

The kids can wear their bee-keeping hats.

ReallyReilly · Yesterday 18:04

If the children do come over it’s going to be quite hard to keep their faces covered on an ongoing basis. I don’t believe for one minute Meghan or the children will stay in a Royal residence.

A serious mistake by KC. This will backfire. H&M need to monetise this and they will

He will fluff it up that it's full armed security, ala presidential status. He's so important. He's still a royal blah blah.

I'd say William and C are furious

Funny how a while ago they issued Meghan’s list of demands before she would agree to visit - full floors of hotels booked out, access to the PoW’s stylist etc etc. But they’re supposedly still coming, even though the offer is exactly the same as it always has been.

My predictions:

Meghan and the children still unlikely to come - will depend on what the offer is from Charles, who I imagine is trying to find a way out of it without looking like a bad dad

if they do see Charles, it will be in private briefly. Accounts of the meeting will vary. Camilla will be there and some staff. There won’t be any photos.

none of the other royals will see them

no RF will turn up to the Invictus event

Uncle Charles might let them over to Diana’s island but won’t let them take any photos or vids

Harry will do a lot of stuff by himself. There won’t be anything at Villa Park though.

if Meghan turns up in Birmingham, she will be booed

I doubt the children’s faces will be revealed, but if they are, there will be lots of commentary saying how much they look like Meghan’s side of the family

they will head back to Montecito (Meghan and the children maybe before Harry) having achieved very little

The Waleses will be loudly cheered at Wimbledon and everyone will move on
