Royal Ascot 2026 - Carriage Lists

I’ve done this for the last few years but wanted to see if there was still interest?

I work in racing and am on the media circulation list for all the Royal Ascot press releases throughout the meeting. They send out the carriage lists at midday each day so if people are interested I’m happy to pop it up for discussion.

The Royal Procession is at 2pm each day (Tuesday-Saturday) and you can watch on ITV.

I like the colour the Queen is wearing. Can't see the colour of the King's waistcoat, I wonder if it's matching.

It was more of a sky blue so not an exact match

Lovely to see that Sophie’s father was with them again at Ascot this week.

i always remember his smile when he was in the carriage procession a few years back.

Notes

Carriage 1
Brough Scott is a long standing (aka very old) racing journalist

Carriage 4
Lady Weatherby is the widow of Sir Jonny Weatherby who sadly died late last year aged just 66. He was formerly His Majesty’s Representative at Ascot, which is effectively Chair of the Board of Trustees. He’s from a very long standing racing family - Weatherbys (named after his family and headed up by descendants of the original founder) have been the “keepers of the stud book” for hundreds of years which basically means they do all the admin work for the sport - record keeping, etc.

Thank you

Thanks both, I’m always happy to do the threads if the interest is there, and if it encourages a few more people to try out a day at their local racecourse so much the better!

I like that Harriet saw sense on her 2nd day and remembered her name is not Peter for her badge. Perhaps she’s a mumsnetter? 😂
