Indeed puzzled , and yet again I find myself wondering how a republican can defend this pair and still consider themselves a republican?🤷‍♀️

@LipglossAndLies I do feel for you as I can only imagine you’re on the payroll for all this somehow, be that legitimately or for publicity on another platform. I’m sure that soon you’ll come to the same conclusion as, checks notes… everyone else who’s ever worked for them. They’ll never be anything other than a massive flop.

I also feel for the kids who will be brought up with the same delusions of grandeur, only to realise it’s all a massive house of cards.

Without wishing to labour the point or carp on , I’m a little fed up with the same defence being used constantly!
so I will simply say …ham didn’t use the word “privacy “ in exactly the way that they didn’t use the word “ racist” ( despite accepting an award for tackling the apparently unsaid accusation!)

@LondonRidge you only have to look at the username name, to deduce that they are either on the payroll or deluded, so I don’t bother and will not bother engaging.

What makes it even funnier is that, as ever, she doesn't understand the etiquette.

The idea is that the 'lower status' visitor is introduced to the royal. Not the other way round. The visitor comes to the royal. The royal does not go to them.

For example, when the PM has his visits to the palace, the butler introduces him to the King. 'Your Majesty, the Prime Minist!er'. So Meghan was inadvertently implying that she was the 'low status' visitor

I know they are fewer and further between these days, and many have switched path to criticising other royals on other threads instead of defending H+M here, but it would be fascinating to find out what these remaining passionate H+M champions see in them - whether they really can’t see the difference between the Waleses and the Sussexes. Can they not see or do they just not mind the hypocrisy, the lying, the grandiosity and entitlement, I wonder 🤔

🤷‍♀️ who knows! , I just wish they would stop recycling the same tired arguments from 5 to 6 years ago! , it was boring then and tedious now, and yet each one pops up like it’s new and we haven’t heard it all adnauseam .

I wonder if they would appreciate the list of H+M’s questionable behaviour. They could work their way through, explaining each lie / hypocrisy one by one. 🤓

I think they are maybe playing up the Harry/ Spike Lee thing however it does show him grandstanding. A brief interaction. It looks awkward though. He's so desperate. Can you imagine William having to search to find people to interact with?

In fairness she couldn't be expected to know much about the inner workings of the RF - though this could have been learned if she hadn't seemingly been so determined to secure the ring then get the hell out - but a bit of decorum and some attempt at manners really doesn't seem too much to ask

My old mum would have used the words "ill bred" for the pair of them, and though it's not used much now she had a point ... even for the one who's royal and apparently considers themselves one of our betters

my American friends were equally disgusted by her lack of manners as well, they labelled her as “low class” 🤷‍♀️

Regardless of what actually happened this is the outcome now for the Sussexes- they are seen as users, freeloaders and wannabes in the press. I understand Spike Lee is a lifetime fan of the Knicks - he's not there grandstanding about.

H&M lean heavily on the marketing tool of anchoring. Anchoring is a cognitive bias where people rely too heavily on the first piece of information they receive when making judgments or decisions, even if that information is irrelevant or arbitrary. For example, the first price a customer sees sets a mental benchmark for evaluating other prices or offers.

H&M are anchoring desperately to Diana and the Wales family.

For example, H&M claimed in their mockumentary that M was hounded like Diana but showed footage of a Harry Potter premiere, a Katie Price lawsuit and Catherine being harassed by paps as no such footage existed. But this mythical harassment "just like Diana" is still heavily referenced by H&M and their super fans especially as the "reason" they left.

Another example is the Wales children. H&M's children are the next generation Beatrice and Eugenie. End of. The reference point is pure irrelevance to desperately try and pretend that H&M's children have the same hierarchical relevance as their Wales cousins. But embracing reality destroys the H&M narrative.

She loves her title doesn’t she ? I still find it amusing that she berated a customs official at Seattle (?) airport on the way back from Invictus for not using her title until he pointed out that the name on her passport was Markle !

H&M are so dated. There are no "paps" anymore. Things have changed
