Meghan and Harry the grift that keeps on grifting. Long may they continue. Better than any soap opera on the telly.

This morning on Meghan's Instagram she is celebrating someone's baby, full face. And then making sure that everyone knows that just because it is ginger that doesn't mean it's Harry's.

What. And I mean this sincerely. The. Fuck. Meghan?

What a horrible thing to say about a friend's new baby.

ETA Quite apart from the hypocrisy of putting the child's image on social media.

I take no more than a passing interest in the royal family, but I do find some comments on here just weird. Am I missing something? Meghan and Harry seem perfectly happy to me. 🤷🏻‍♀️

It’s like some posters are obsessed with them and longing for their downfall.

Am I missing something?

Yep.

No idea where this came from - possibly a Facebook post but it rings true for me. Couldn’t agree more with the local school mother.

Agree with this.

It was discussed on Palace Confidential this week (in the context of George' school) that the primary issue for the Wales children growing up will be friend with phone cameras.

Rebecca English mentioned that several times there have been stories about the family online, with images, and they'd asked the palace if they could publish as they were already public but were asked not to, so stuck to the agreement.

It’s not just the hands. What is going on with the knives on the knife block? The one at the front seems to have snapped in half or something. Plus the usual rubbish flowers, just plonked in a silver vase.

All the knives look as if they're just kind of hanging on the outside of the block.

Bizarre.

StartupRepair · 13/06/2026 11:09

That's a weird comment about the baby. She really isn't good at humour (if it was an attempt to be funny).

People who are happy and comfortable with their decisions tend not to behave as the Sussexes do.

Noticing and commenting on this is not the same as wishing them ill.

Unfuckingbelievable! Having someone else’s kid on her insta after all her talk about online safety for kids. She’s absolutely nuts!

Is that for real?

What a totally inappropriate thing to say about a baby! An easily identifiable baby too, for someone who is supposedly so paranoid about not showing her own children's faces.

It's also very disrespectful to 'her H', and to the parents of the baby. Just a totally shit thing to post.

Ah.

Just seen it's magnetic.

Can't say I'd fancy having naked blades clustered round a kitchen worktop and it seems even more bizarre when you're allegedly so hung up on children's safety.

It's flabbergasting, such bad taste.

I read somewhere else that the baby's mother posted the photo and tagged Meghan. Not sure if this is true but if so I guess it's not quite so bad, at least on Meghan's part. Why on earth would someone want to make such a crass joke about her own child however?

I think the whole video must be AI. I’m guessing she had some still images and asked AI to generate a short video, and then hasn’t had the attention to detail to spot the errors - the weird hands, the bizarrely cut off knife on the block, the mismatch of bottle types and the fact the wine is already poured when she’s uncorking it.

It’s very very sloppy for a brand charging what she does for products, and really does suggest she is going it alone on her marketing and social efforts now. If that was done by a paid employee I’d expect them to be fired.

Butteredtoast55 · 13/06/2026 11:24

That image of Meghan with the baby is crass beyond belief. Not only is it a shitty thing to say, it's completely intended to put those who 'troll' her (i.e. have an opinion on her behaviour) in their place. The syntax is odd 'We know I love a ginger' and 'Let me stop you before they start'. She seems to think other people's first reaction to this photo would be to think his wife was kissing a child Harry has fathered. Unhinged.
She could have posted the same image with some stupid remark about snuggles with her friend's baby, but no. Let's use another person's child to try to score points. The heads of the Sussexes must be a strange place to be.

She has reposted the same two images on her own stories on Instagram but shared from Meghan’s account.

So unless she posted the images elsewhere on social media it’s definitely Meghan who has posted them, reshared by the mother, not the other way around.

I find them hugely entertaining. They provide opportunities for ridicule on a daily basis from their very own words and actions. I’m enjoying watching the long, slow slide into oblivion of two grandiose, delusional bullys. It’s quite satisfying.

What points was she scoring? Is this the friend who lost her children suddenly? Is this her first pregnancy since? Insensitive.

It's the joke that was so dreadful. Not funny at all.

I’m catching up so this may have been already said! , that is a mini cheese knife block with magnets to hold the knives on they are different shapes ( so not photoshopped)

Also, the way they go on you'd swear Harry was the only redhead on earth. It's actually pretty common, at least in Britain and Ireland. Big deal.

Thedom · 13/06/2026 12:25

‘A ginger’ 🫚🫚isn’t that sometimes classed as an offensive phrase to use to describe someone with red hair ?

toiletpaperthief · 13/06/2026 12:31

This is a very wealthy (and in love) good looking young couple living their best life with their two kids in sunny Santa Barbara (California), this 44 year old woman (who comes from quite a modest background) has gracefully capitalized her fame (and the hatred) by creating a lifestyle company making 22 million dollars per year. She's had the balls to give her diamond studded middle finger to a misoginistic and racist centuries old British institution and sue the Murdoch tabloids in between face exfoliations.

Little Englands seems to be obsessed with her while yelling "who does she think she is?!" "why did she not follow the rules and became an unhappy tabloid fodder princess Diana tragic figure like she was meant to be?"

"Crab mentality" (google it) comes to mind when I read these MN threads. Some introspection on why are we so obsessed and full of hatred for Megan and Harry as a nation would be a good start.

Also disrespectful to the baby. Hasn't H complained about comments to him doubting his parentage based on his ginger hair. Why is making jokes like this any different? Such hypocrites. I'd be furious if I was the parents.

You had me at 'good ooking young couple'.

I guess standards of youth and beauty are different in America. What time is it there now btw?

And I see the 'Why are you so obsessed?' crowd are back with a vengeance! But it's all about as original and interesting as a 2009 era lifestyle brand.

PigglyWigglyOhYeah · 13/06/2026 12:35

good looking young couple

Er....they are middle aged. Harry looks like a dog's breakfast.
