Someone trying and failing badly to make an English style afternoon tea, whilst speaking in a whispery, creepy voice ,as if they are about to tell you they see dead people. I think this is Meghan's way of trying to make out that the British tea ritual is universal.

I've just seen the photograph - the sandwiches look like doorstops 😯 . Now for a hearty breakfast / lunch a good doorstop sandwich , yes. Not for dainty afternoon tea. Although I concede there are those who will do out for a lovely afternoon tea, often for a treat with cake etc , which pretty much does for the rest of the day but even so you would surely expect the sandwiches to be a little more . ahem , refined. Each to their own but a couple of croissant and a bit of cucumber between thickly sliced bread does not an afternoon tea make (in my view only) Friend of mine does beautiful egg mayonnaise sandwiches , which sounds dull , but hers are done with half mayonnaise / half creme creche and really thin bread slices, crusts off , with snippets of spring onion. They're melt in the mouth loveliness ( but that's a personal taste obviously ).

If it was Royal Nikkhah, Richard Eden, Rebecca English, Camilla Tominey, even Charlotte Griffiths I'd perhaps give it credence.

They said this back in January/Feb and it never materialised. I highly doubt Meghan will ever come back to the UK, and she won't let the kids go without her.

With her name recognition you would expect 400k website visits per month (at least). And traffic doesn't always equate to purchases.

They can claim as much as they like that As ever is a success - but until they release actual sales figures it's all meaningless.

This is to put pressure on the decision makers I think - Harry genuinely believes everyone would be so thrilled to see him and the children, no official would dare deny him what he wants for fear of the public turning on them.

I was reading a blind on x that says that As Ever website has only had 920,000 hits in the USA this year. And hits aren’t sales. Doesn’t seem a lot for someone so well known. Unfortunately she is well known for all the wrong reasons.

Exactly. And for 24/7 you need 3 crews, with 1 or 2 officers per principal, so for a family of four, that's 24/48 officers if they're all in different places, and 6/12 if they're all together. All on the taxpayer's bill. With flights and accommodation to pay for too. And expecting those people to be away from their own homes and families for protracted periods.

I think that was the point when it became 100% clear to me that H was too stupid to understand what he'd actually done, when he was demanding that set-up.

Would love to see a spreadsheet / diary of all these dates and the overlap (if any) with In-griftus …. Do we think that PH & family will come for the whole summer - staying at Sandringham AND Balmoral?

What a disastrous year if H&M are excluded from all of the above + KC3 US trip, + PP wedding etc.

The King, Queen and Wales family currently rank as International Protected Persons. It's governed by international agreements and is limited to Heads of State and politically important powerless, like the Prime Minister. Harry was never going to retain it as an adult, in the same Charlotte and Louis will eventually gave the security of Anne and the Edinburghs, on duty only.
