Would love to see a spreadsheet / diary of all these dates and the overlap (if any) with In-griftus …. Do we think that PH & family will come for the whole summer - staying at Sandringham AND Balmoral?

Or do we think that they are still NFI?

Could Serena Williams invite MM to Wimbledon?

What a disastrous year if H&M are excluded from all of the above + KC3 US trip, + PP wedding etc.

I read that Serena has distanced herself from M . Even if she did invite her she wouldn’t be in the Royal box and certainly wouldn’t have rows around her cleared .

CathyorClaire · 09/06/2026 20:49

I guess the dismantling of Frogmore indicates the finality of their estrangement.

I think it indicates the usual appalling royal disregard for taxpayers' money.

I don't buy the 'repayment' guff that ended up saving Harold some £750k to the detriment of the public purse.

I don't want to pay for a nonsensical 'reversal' involving a stripping out of costly fittings with no transparency on who might benefit but I fully expect the royals will find a way to pin it on the taxpaying mug.

Atrocious.

Well I guess Catherine is right to be worried about the return of the face of the royal family 😂😂🤪

What ‘face’ tho - MM won’t be returning with the ‘face’ she left with…

Mark Dolan now reporting that H's funded security is a given 🙄 just waiting to sign off and H is bringing kids over in July !!

But he always had ‘funded security’ in the UK with notice. That’s his bespoke deal. And everyone knows about these planned Invictus visits.

It’s ‘funded security’ in the US and the rest of the world he wants.

Jesus what an entitled twat. He is going to be a major pain in William's arse in the future.

Mark Dolan who is a TalkTv host? That Mark Dolan?

If it was Royal Nikkhah, Richard Eden, Rebecca English, Camilla Tominey, even Charlotte Griffiths I'd perhaps give it credence.

They said this back in January/Feb and it never materialised. I highly doubt Meghan will ever come back to the UK, and she won't let the kids go without her.

I believe she absolutely would come back to the UK … IF … she had guaranteed royal adjacent photo opps nailed down so that she could boost her brand in an effort to sell more UPFs and tat online. I believe she would do the kids face ‘reveal’ for $$$$$.

Does IPP status come with UK security briefings? Harry needs to feel as important as his brother. I know we all laugh at the one more sausage story, but that's what all of this is all about. Not having what William has. Nothing will ever satisfy him, he's so full of rage at not being the first born and heir apparent. Even if (go forbid) the entire Wales clan were out of the picture, he'd find something to complain about.

Ramburg · 09/06/2026 20:59

BasiliskStare · 09/06/2026 19:02

Harry's "funded" security has always been a given - it the nature of it which has been in dispute. (Sorry I haven't read that particular article. )

Well if PH etc are due to attend the One Year Countdown for Invictus at NEC Birmingham (10th July) - then he needs to be putting in his 30 day heads up ASAP.

So what should they do with Frogmore? Just let it sit empty? That costs the taxpayer as well.

The problem is that they cannot find anyone who wants to rent it - but there could be tenants if it was converted back to smaller units (it was 5 separate apartments before Harry and Meghan decided to convert it to a single house).

Ramburg · 09/06/2026 21:04

MrsLeonFarrell · 09/06/2026 16:13

MSN is reporting that Harry is demanding "enhanced security" if his children visit Balmoral. Is he actually saying that the security surrounding the Head of State is not sufficient for 2 children of a minor royal and a jam maker?

Not sure they have even been invited …. most recent source from RF / BP - said something about ‘bitterness’ and ‘trust’ being an ongoing issue with PH that as long as these are still unresolved no accommodations / reconciliations could be made.

I do think as his children are getting older, asking questions etc PH must feel and see that they are missing out.

BasiliskStare · 09/06/2026 21:05

I honestly do not see why H&M and children could not hop over here for a private visit. Get to Heathrow , private lounge , private car - straight to Sandringham or somewhere , don't dance around in public , switch your phones and iPad cameras off and then straight back. No-one would know. ( Ha ha maybe they have) But seriously going to stay with Pa / Grandad cannot be the most dangerous thing to do if a private family visit is what you want. What they have given up is Duke and Duchessing about in public at their will with publicly paid for police etc security.

I increasingly think it isn't much harder than that. But I'm not Harry. 😂

Starryfifty · 09/06/2026 21:06

Absolutely 💯 Meg would be over. She needs royal adjacency now, more than ever and kids would be on full show.

CathyorClaire · 09/06/2026 21:06

Does it?

They're happy enough to do it with other properties.

The very opposite of the Sussex modus vivendi! 😂

As it's inside the RF security cordon, I believe that anyone living there will have to have been vetted to a fairly high level. IMO it's likely to return to being staff/Household accommodation, as they all have been vetted appropriately.

If only the RF had to be vetted too. Then the Andrew stuff would have been apparent many years ago....

Absolutely agree with you - I was thinking that 😂

Did they honestly think they could be on the balcony one month and whining to Oprah or flogging clothes at public appearances the next? D minus Windsor junior , must concentrate more in class 😂

Yes, I think they honestly did think that. Or rather, Meghan thought that, and Harry, being a. very thick and b. raised within the RF, didn't see any problem with that, because he didn't really understand what she was talking about, and so, even if he hadn't been blinded to reason by infatuation, wouldn't have been able to articulate the RF point of view on it.

BasiliskStare · 09/06/2026 21:33

@SqueakyDinosaur "blinded to reason by infatuation" - what a lovely turn of phrase. DH , who can't be bothered with H&M , did only once comment on H. His was a rather more industrial version. 😂

I forgot about the clothes thing . Wonder how that is going ?

I've seen reports of KC3 describing H as both spunk-drunk and cunt-struck. It's very rare that I am more refined than press reports!!

Talking of Serena, she won her women’s doubles match at Queen’s today with the young player Victoria Nboko. They beat the No 3 seeds. Apparently her serve is still extremely powerful, so she’s been out on the practice courts for a while taking it seriously.

She was quoted earlier as jokingly saying she’s returned to tennis because she ‘had nothing to do’!

She’s certainly not eating crappy afternoon teas with her ‘friend’ who flogs them.

That seems to have died a death. As Ever.

BasiliskStare · 09/06/2026 21:55

@SqueakyDinosaur Dh's version was the second of those. I think "blinded to reason by infatuation" nails it though. And forever and day I will probably conflate the two after your post 😂Thank you - you made me laugh.

Put it this way. No woman wants to looks like Arkwright or Granville in a brown overcoat. Or the props bloke from the BBC who had to rush on and put out the Brownie camp fire in the Blue Peter studio.

I think that was the point when it became 100% clear to me that H was too stupid to understand what he'd actually done, when he was demanding that set-up

Hard agree.

I think IPPs should also be reasonable and do what they can to give notice.
