The ANL case concluded on 31st March. We are still waiting for the judgement.

Harry lost his RAVEC court case in May last year.
The review he later asked the Home Office for (which was highly likely to have happened anyway, given that in most cases they do 5 year reviews) may or may not have been completed; RAVEC does not announce either its reviews or its conclusions, for obvious reasons.
I suspect any update will come from Harry.

Kirschcherries · 06/06/2026 14:01

@bluegreygreen Thank you.

I do wonder if one of the outcomes of the RAVEC review might be a non-disclosure requirement for Harry & his family.

bluegreygreen · 06/06/2026 14:13

You're welcome.

Some of us followed the ANL case on a series of threads. Thread 4 is here and will be updated (with lots of discussion!) when the judgement comes out.

@bluegreygreen Thank you.

I don't think a British govt office would go to the trouble of setting up an NDA for someone resident in California. And what would be the point anyway?

Harry will get all appropriate security provided he cooperate with the authorities. That's a very generous arrangement, and I can't see how it will change. He's simply not as important as he'd like to think.

“Harry loudly complained later that the first he knew of the debacle was when a copy of Hello! was delivered a few days later to Highgrove, his father's country home, and he saw it on the breakfast table.

The very idea that a rag like Hello would land on the Highgrove is beyond hilarious!

Yes, this doesn't ring true. Country life, The Telegraph, The Times, maybe National Geographic.

Hello being delivered to Highgrove sounds very unlikely. As does our ability to believe anything Harry says.

Someone mentioned up-thread about whether Harry's RAVEC security case had been settled. It was months ago now and I have a horrible feeling he got his way.

I'm not so sure - if Harry had gotten his way I'm pretty sure his "sources" would have leaked it by now. 🤷🏼‍♀️

LaMarschallin · 06/06/2026 11:34

Don't most people "bugger off" on honeymoon straight after the wedding?

Yes, of course they do, but apparently, according to Harry he should have delayed the honeymoon in order to listen to hazbeen's grievances and displeasure!

SisterTeatime · 06/06/2026 15:50

Slight tangent, but why is the Mail saying there was a ‘dress rehearsal’ for the Phillips wedding? Honestly they write such twaddle in this type of story.

Im sure I remember a story about Harry and Meghan changing a seating plan at some event - before they were married I think. She certainly seems to have gone out of her way to make herself unpopular with his social circle.

At Pippa's wedding. They weren't even engaged. So rude.

Perhaps someone was sent out to buy it once the news spread on the family grapevine.

I think it’s an error when referring to an ordinary rehearsal.

It's this level of hypocrisy which is just so entertaining! 😂

Indeed, and why I never feel bad that I am so entertained by it all

Yes so they could sit together.

RecoIIectionsMayVary · 06/06/2026 16:49

@BasiliskStare I was brought up on that word as well, but didn't realise the history of it. Whilst I have no desire to compel language and understand what you actually saying I wondered if you knew.
(I hope that all comes across correctly)

40coats · 06/06/2026 16:50

Maybe I'm reading too much into this but looking at pictures of Diana as a child she wore her hair loose and longish. She had heavier hair though so it didn't tangle or look messy.

Also here's a picture of Diana at 5, hair is shorter but dress is similar I think?

That and the pp SIL is unbelievably rude.

So many signs.

But if you type in Diana at 5 it comes up with a Facebook link.

BasiliskStare · 06/06/2026 17:32

@RecoIIectionsMayVary - Thank you for your post. I genuinely did not know that & I'll bet that never crossed granny's mind either. But I'm grateful for you telling me. Every day's a school day. No offence was intended - sheer ignorance on my part so apologies to anyone it may have been offensive to. I'll be more careful in future. Thank you 💐
ETA I googled it so I get it now.

See my post at 12.57 today - that's what Recollections was referring to. Well to be clear I used the word "uppity" . You can see my susbsequent post.

??? , my first and favourite mr men book was “mr uppity “ a story about a rich, posh unpleasant man who thought he was better than everyone else and didn’t have many friends, it was also apart of the boxset I bought my son.

@jeffgoldblum That's how I think of it too - but if you google it - you only need read down the AI overview you'll see what RMV was saying. I won't post it the whole thing so as not to be too derailing , but that's where she was coming from. I'd rather know than not - because I didn't 😊

I’m assuming this is imported from the US then ! 🤷‍♀️

The Mr Man book has been renamed to Mr Snooty.

I am not compelling speech, and I certainly believe strongly in free speech, but after reading lots of @BasiliskStare posts I assumed that they were not aware as it is not their style of writing. I grew up knowing and using it in the same way as the Mr Man book, I choose not to use it any more .

Edited to add thanks for taking it in the way I meant it - agree every day is a school day.

I agree that the dress style is similar - but what thick hair Diana had!

This really is the most elastic of stretches. Almost every little girl in the western hemisphere has worn dresses like that and had long hair since forever. I mean, come on.
