Meg and Harry and all their PR shenanigans

I’m of mixed mind about this. I was very unhappy at one stage in my life. I wasn’t very well mentally or emotionally due to the loss of 2 very close loved ones and being told I had cancer but the birth of another grandchild/my grandchildren touched my heart and mind the way nothing else could. I’m going to give Meghan the benefit of the doubt and say that having Archie was probably a source of joy in difficult times.

You’d think for the circle that Harry was brought up in, thirsting after press attention would be seen as incredibly vulgar and desperate. It’s certainly not how any of the other royals conduct themselves.

Charles and Camilla are in my town today, Charles is visiting allotments and Camilla is meeting DV victims helped by Womans Aid.
There's posts on FB and KC is very chatty.

I refuse to believe that Harry sees the photos of William and his loyal friends and doesn’t feel a pang of regret and jealousy.
The men were so clearly enjoying the match and each other’s company it was heartwarming to see .
Surely Harry realises that if it’s a choice between W or H the future King will win hands down ?

Honestly, he comes across as extremely deluded and arrogant, I don't think he sees it.Didn't he make sure he was papped having lunch with friends in LA recently? I think he's embracing the vacuous California lifestyle. Surfing, lounging around smoking weed etc

It’s not really about all the background/personal nuances, though. It’s her social media output, posted with no context or caveat, for the consumption of outsiders to see, interpret and relay back to her kids. When they are teenagers, being pitted against their royal cousins by the press, maybe wondering where they fit in in the world, this is what they will find their parents were saying about the early years in California, which coincides with their births. It’s really not fair on them/thibking about the future possible effects on them.

Both Harry and Meghan believe they are special, but Harry has a strong drive to self-harm/self-destruct, IMO. I think the article had some truth in it. I didn’t see it as critical of William necessarily. The chicken coop thing was so weird, Harry was so clearly a third wheel to Meghan and Oprah, shamefacedly going along with Meghan’s lies - a bit like the exaggerated Medieval Times bow - no sane person in Harry’s position would allow that footage to be broadcast.

It’s well known that Harry likes a spliff etc but I never took the rumours of Meghan overindulging - whether just alcohol or anything else - very seriously, but after the latest Instagram posts I’m not so sure.

I know the topic of the wedding photos is probably done and dusted but I came across this one on X .
Am I right in saying that the argument was likely to be around Maria removing G and C from the procession?
Or am I overthinking? Has H ever alluded to this incident? If indeed it was one !

Is it just me or does it look like Maria is talking to someone else behind the door rather than Harry? Harry looks more like he's watching

I posted up thread about this picture, and I think she’s posted it in order to infer that the Wales family were being difficult on the Sussex family wedding day. It very much looks like everyone is being held up by whatever interaction is going on between Harry and the Wales Nanny.

I wondered that but I think the other person is actually behind Maria.

IMHO, H&M (and some observers) have failed to realise that H&M's attacks on the family hurt more than Charles and William.

From Peter Philips perspective these are the people H has attacked:

-His grandmother QEII and the drama that she endured in her final years.
-His grandfather Prince Philip and the drama that he endured in his final years.
-His mother Princess Anne...revelations about and digging into her security arrangements made Anne less safe as most people assumed that she had 24-7 security until H's song and dance about security
-His sister Zara who is a particular target of the SS as they fear she and Mike will be tapped as working royals by future KW5
-His daughters who were targeted by the Sussex Squad (SS) when they appeared at Easter with his impending stepdaughter
-His fiancée who was viciously insulted by the SS online when the news hit that H would not be invited to the wedding

And all this is before you even get to Peter's Uncle Charles and Cousin William!

Why would Peter want H anywhere near him? Especially when the attacks against his daughters and Zara are ongoing...while H remains completely silent.

There is a phrase "wear your privilege lightly" . I don't think H does - he reaches for it so often , especially when he is backed into a corner. That's my observation only.

My thought is she probably probably didn’t even check the background. She saw she was prominent clicked to add it. I’d guess vanity before any cleverness.

Agree with this. H was vile about his sister in law. Implied Willie didn't have a choice in marrying her (paraphrasing) he claimed she had no voice. Also expressed concern for their daughter Charlotte as she's a "spare". What man vilifies a woman like this? Especially one he was once close to?

A very stupid and intellectually lazy man who is being manipulated by a cleverer, sociopathic wife, perhaps? A man with no understanding of nuance, who believes that things are always binary - so if his wife tells him that his sister-in-law, with whom he's had a close, loving relationship over several years, is an enemy, he instantly accepts this and adopts it as his position.

I genuinely think that a lot of the issues with Harry are down to a very low IQ. His inappropriate behaviour reminds me of the stories in Entitled and elsewhere about Andrew also behaving inappropriately and hiding behind his position to avoid being called out on it.

Tina Brown quotes a cousin of QEII saying "The problem is that Prince Harry is neither bright nor strong, and Meghan is both".

I honestly think Meghan’s ‘brightness’ is a myth, otherwise how can she have fucked up so spectacularly. It defies logic.

I’m reminded of the line in to kill a mockingbird where scout says the ewells had their ‘own contemptuous cunning’. I think some people have confused this for brightness

I don't think Meg is very bright at all tbh. She's a lot of things but bright isn't one of them.

Worryingly, H is starting to emulate his hideous uncle each day

She’s brighter than H but that’s not hard.

Agree M isn't bright. Can't keep her stories straight. She has no sense of logic, curiosity, or common sense. She also thinks other people are complete fools. This is a person who felt the need to explain to her audience what the term 'As ever' means.

There is a sort of sour deliciousness to this, given the number of times the ‘but Andrew’ defence of the Sussexes is used on here.
