Is this a WHO event though? Not that I have a clue but my impression is that it was held in a public place near the conference venue, but not inside it. Also, it happened yesterday, a Sunday, and the WHO GA only started today. So I dont think it was sponsored by WHO.

My hunch is it was concocted by Archewell at the last minute. The Meghan operation in particular doesn't seem to be good on forward planning. There should have been a recce, discussions about audience size and placement, a social media plan, scouting out camera angles, an introduction for Megan etc etc. O doubt any of these things happened.

I feel sorry for the parents. Whatever it is they want to achieve is being swallowed up by bad press. I don't agree with the "public health emergency" message, especially not coming out of the mouth of the adoration subject of one of the most vicious online hate groups that has ever existed; but these bereaved parents don't deserve to be so ill used and ignored over the petty PR and oneupmanship interests of this talentless woman.

Agree and especially ones who have been ditched by the Sussexes only to be picked up when it suits. I'm sure there's something contractual from the original installation that they can't get away from.

And what about security ?

JSMill · 18/05/2026 17:49

So Sophie is there today? Isn’t it funny how things turn out. Sophie was just happy to marry Edward and continue with her career, not be a working royal or a ‘humanitarian’. Yet there she is in Geneva and she is quietly supporting some really worthwhile work.

I agree, although I don't believe 'Archewell' exists in any meaningful sense anymore.

Also, should someone supposedly obsessed with 'security' be speaking in a public venue in the middle of the day? There doesn't appear to by any substantial police presence and traffic is circulating as normal. Not that she's in any danger as people way more impotant than her travel around Geneva all the time.

FannyCann · 18/05/2026 17:49

But who paid for her flights and presumably hotel unless she flew in and out same day??

If it was concocted at the last minute, and as you can't just rock up and put up an installation outside the WHO (that must have required costly transport and erection fees); and those parents are unlikely to have just been able to drop everything last minute to travel to Europe without financial assistance, then Tedros must really like Meghan!. I'd love to know who's paid for all this. I can't see anything about the event on Parents Together website. Does Archewell own the installation?

Ah well. That's interesting, isn't it? If you're positioning yourself as the most trolled person in the wurrld (sic), how much sense does it make to agree to stand by the roadside of a major European city giving a speech in broad daylight, and with no body guards visible?

noonames · 18/05/2026 18:00

I hope she was paid handsomely. It seems an awfully long way to go to look foolish otherwise.

Who would pay her?

The WHO has a lot of anonymous donors. Mr Soros perhaps? Controlling the internet, and especially what children/young people are allowed to find out about your opponents while their own opinions on society are being formed, is rather useful.

Starryfifty · 18/05/2026 18:26

No way she did this if she wasn't paid

Serenster · 18/05/2026 18:42

Back to Meghan’s wardrobe, turns out the lilac two-piece was bespoke Akris (a luxury Swiss fashion brand also worn by Princess Charlene of Monaco. Turns out the dress was intentionally shapeless!

Oh I’m not so sure this time! , she was apparently really pissed off with Catherine on her Italy trip! , even had sources leaking that Catherine was deliberately stealing her thunder from the Australian trip!
never underestimate the power of misplaced jealousy and ego!

bluegreygreen · 18/05/2026 18:44

Sophie is due to be there on Tuesday 19th (as per RF website).

Ohpleeeease · 18/05/2026 18:45

It is depressing how what purport to be worthy organisations can waste time and money on rubbish like this. What a pointless exercise.

So it was made for her and not retail. I thought it was weird why it was taking so long for the info. Why the heck did she choose that colour….when they already had her fav bland beige available

Also, the purple outfit never got much traction. It’s her other outfit that was most seen. Why go to the length of having something bespoke made with a matching dress coat when it won’t be shown?

'When it suits' So apt 😄

I’m not entirely sure she paid for it to be honest! , I imagine that it was gifted on the condition she promoted it ? , would explain the naff picture with Lilly! 🤔

AtIusvue · 18/05/2026 19:02

Seen this is part of the pre fall 2026 Collection….so guarantee she will post another image of the outfit and have it on One off world.

Everything is a hustle.

I struggle to grasp how a person with money (never mind lots of it) can lower themselves to allowing their clothes to be paid for. That includes you, Keir Starmer.

PigglyWigglyOhYeah · 18/05/2026 19:42

The only thing I can conclude from this whole fiasco is that I'm pretty sure someone is going to be crying at their desk today, and it's not going to be Meghan.

Well apparently Meghan acquiring clothes and freebies is not a new thing, it’s been happening since before she married Harry !
my personal opinion is that she looks the way she does because her outfits are gifted and you don’t get to choose!
when she was using Charles to fund her wardrobe, she looked good, they fitted and she could rewear any of those outfits but they have not been seen since they left, where are they?
I can only conclude she no longer has them, whether rumours were true that her and Jessica were returning them secretly and keeping the money or they were sold on afterwards is up for debate 🤷‍♀️

I assumed it was because the WHO man was there but you could be right. Whoever organised it didn't do a very good job.
