Meghan may, however, have a part in the alleged new scripted polo show, that H&M are supposedly working on with a writer. (I dread to think how bad it will be.) She could play Richaria de Luxen Riches, the love interest of Fox del Torro del Pantaloon, against a backdrop of Argentinian sunsets and vast stretches of horseshit

This I thought could be canny - given Jilly Cooper’s Rivals has been a global hit for Disney+ and it looks from the trailers for series two that it is moving onto dramatising some of “Polo” which was the next book in the series. So they could be producing a scripted show about “rich people polo problems” just as the topic becomes mainstream popular.

Rivals 2 is out in May though, so presumably they’d have to move swiftly to follow in its wake?

I've seen Meghan in a couple of Suits episodes and she's popped up as a guest star in some other things I've seen, Castle and Fringe. She is a competent actress but not someone who grabs the screen. Career wise, having a regular role on a continuing series puts her ahead of the vast majority of her acting peers. I don't think she was ever going to find more success than she did in Suits, she simply didn't have that certain something you need to be A list.

They'll have to be careful about copyright, for starters.

And goodness knows how they'll compete against the existing Rivals and incipient Polo sequel.

Ot all seems a bit far-fetched tbh.

I'm pretty sure that H&M had their photo taken with her in Nigeria, all smiles, plane fare provided by either H&M or one of their Nigerian hosts/donors, lots of friendly X posts floating about that showed she was a Sussex fan and well-integrated into that world.

Now this same lady is apparently being touted by Harry as some sort of threat to his life. Bizarre.

I think she was getting better as she got more experience. Some of the early stuff was quite bad but by the end of Suits she was a decent TV regular actor.

I remember thinking at the time that it was such a shame she was giving up all that hard work and hustle just as it was paying off and she had a decent springboard to get a bigger role.

It’s clearer now that she didn’t really love the craft of acting - more that it was a vehicle to fame.

She’s never really shown any interest in theatre or even shared what TV and movies she likes, or directors she admires in the way that actors who are engaged in the process of creating content do.

She seems to wing it in everything she does. I've worked with people who do this and some manage to progress quite far. Takes a serious amount of confidence to achieve this.

Oh god it will be that young woman who was at the New York screening of whatever it was. Remember that?

It was a shame that she gave it up. Being a tv regular is an achievement, many actors never get regular work. She could have continued to do small things but I don't think she is a good enough actress to carry a film or tv series.

She's always done the same kind of hot girl/ blow job in the car/ sex in the stationary cupboard/ bending over maid roles. It's not a great resume.

On another note I listened to Tom Bower talking to someone this morning and he was saying how they do much mischief with their faux royal tours. Apparently in Nigeria Meghan was talking about the racist UK/RF and as he said, people believe it.
As pp have noted lots of people around the world fail to make the distinction between working Royal and non-working royal, they see Harry and see a Prince of the UK. So it really is damaging to have her (and probably him) trotting around the globe spouting their nonsense truth to anyone who will listen.
