In the privacy of their own minds it may be true

I think they live in their very own echo chamber.

Invictus Australia news
https://archive.ph/muIox

Warning Watch Out GIF

And up pops Invictus! It is the only platform H can leverage to create a large scale quasi-royal environment, and he is ruthlessly using it for self-aggrandisement. Even more pertinent, it is the last pot of money H&M can use to fund their grifters getaways as corporates donate annually to Invictus...a more reliable revenue stream than H&M's various failed projects at Netflix & Spotify.

IMHO, it should be concerning to charity regulators if the Invictus is picking up the costs of H&M's upcoming grifters getaway to Australia while H or M are generating revenue from paid Australian gigs unrelated to Invictus.

The red flags keep mounting higher and higher.

Oh how very yes to this. 👏. Fine lines . grey areas , maybe they aren't as cack handed as we all thought 😂

I'd also like charity regulators to ask what H is doing about African Parks - given he a director not just a patron , but not holding my breath.

What’s in it for Marcus I wonder?

Found it!

Soho House is opening in Sydney in 2026!

So Marcus has arranged this side hustle for Meg at the intercontinental hotel…..will she be doing something for the opening of Soho house?

And I think theit announcement of the Temu Tour - Australian Leg, so quickly after Australia's invitation to W& C has blasted any chances the Invictus fixers might have had at getting RF involvement in.the Birmingham games.

@GoldBthehypo I don't think A Listers who have lots of money rock up to a Hilton in Canada to speak to Estate agents - especially when it wasn't even a sell out!

Rereading their "freedom" speech which shows their aspirations for "progressive" roles and raising the children to recognise their heritage is quite sad. They didn't plan the move well enough, they were arrogant and believed the Hollywood hype.

MM has done well out of the deal.

CreamolaFoam26 · 11/03/2026 17:34

@AtIusvue Oh my God!!!!! 😂

Thedom · 11/03/2026 17:47

On X they are discussing the Australian prime ministers invite to Catherine and William, which was end of September 2025 and the coincidence of H&M asking for an invite to an event in Australia around the same time, late 2025 according to the event organizer.

The Royal Tribute Band, as I saw them described. 😂

bluegreygreen · 11/03/2026 17:54

Yes, the first press stories that they were keen to visit Australia soon came around November 2025, a few weeks after Albanese's invitation to the Wales family.

I'm really hoping that they're not tapping this of all things for their own ends, @My2cents1975, but then I was one of the last ones hoping they wouldn't make the event itself all about them, and look what happened to that Confused

@GoldBthehypo
Besides I dont even bother getting it serviced so extra saving there. The money is set aside incase I need to replace it but why bother its cheaper for me to keep it until it breaks and then replace it. These boilers were built to last and rarely breakdown compared to newer models.

Not that boilers have anything to do with this thread but your attitude to old boilers (not Meghan) is very concerning, so I would like to highlight to others how dangerous this can be in case anyone thinks this is acceptable. I hope at the very least you have a carbon monoxide detector.

not servicing an old gas boiler is highly dangerous and can be fatal
. It significantly increases the risk of carbon monoxide leaks, which cause over 100 deaths annually in England and Wales
. Unserviced, aging boilers are prone to failing components, gas leaks, and inefficient, deadly operatio
Key Risks of Ignoring Service:

Warning Signs an Old Boiler Needs Attention:
  • Yellow or orange flame instead of blue.
  • Soot staining or condensation on walls/windows.
  • Strange noises (banging, whistling).
  • Increased energy bills.
It is strongly recommended to have an annual service by a Gas Safe registered engineer to ensure safety, particularly for units over 15 years old, which may also be nearing the end of their lifespan.

Im not stupid. I have always had a carbon monoxide monitor in a house regardless or if it had new or old boiler, renting or owned. Its just common sense to have one since you cant smell it.

Im very aware of all the risks thanks i have a fire blanket, extinguishers too. Most people dont even have those. I have all important documents or things I dont want lose in a fireproof bag too so i never have to worry if the house burns down those will be safe too.

canklesmctacotits · 11/03/2026 18:55

"old boilers (not Meghan)"

Priceless! 😂

So, Meghan and Marcus want to promote the new Soho House outpost - Meghan to say thanks, Marcus because free publicity. They need to find a reason for her being there in case she gets photographed (no WAY will photos of her at the opening be released, but you can bet your bottom dollar that Harry and she will be the "surprise guests" that people invited to the opening have been promised - and of course they'll stay in the VIP section, talking to 3 people only, and leave after an hour). So they've cooked up the podcast/weekend retreat thing, which serendipitously coincides with a Sydney push for Invictus. Et voilà: expenses paid, backs scratched, business done.

It's so predictable, so 90s, it's actually boring. It's like using a Nokia in an iphone era, and not in a cool Gen Alpha way.

Seeing as you say you are so safety conscious it’s bizarre that you don’t maintain and service an old gas boiler which could literally be fatal, but hey, you do you.

I love that this thread has become a debate on whether @goldbthehypo should update their boiler or not. 🤣

Does sound quite reckless.
If I was that poster I’d be checking the small print on my buildings/contents insurance. I’m not sure an insurance provider would pay out for any damage caused by a 40yr old unserviced boiler. 🤷‍♀️

OMFG 🤦🏼‍♀️

Please get your old boiler serviced! It’s not just your own life you’re risking, you could be putting others in danger too!

Let's examine H's track record.

At Sentebale, H chose to film a polo fundraising event for his Netflix project...Polo. Sophie Chandauka informed the public of the issues the charity faced including moving venue and being expected to provide PR cover when M's effort to insert herself into the trophy presentation was commented upon in social and traditional media.

At African Parks, the government of Chad cut ties and leveled accusations including serious financial misconduct, a disrespectful attitude and failing to curb poaching, but went on to resolve the issues and reinstate African Parks weeks later. That is aside from the unresolved abuse of the Baka people in Congo by African Parks employees.

IMHO, H's track record to date does not inspire much confidence.

BasiliskStare · 11/03/2026 20:32

@My2cents1975 Just so. 👏
I think H off the leash hasn't worked out well. I suspect he still does not recognise what that pesky RF did for him by keeping him on track. As my granny would have said , I'm not sure he's got the brains he was born with with . But he has inherited money and he has time , so if he were serious he could be spending time on African Parks , for example . Now , I don't know he isn't , but never seems to come up in any of this published activities. Maybe that one is too hard and not enough photo opportunities. Colour me cynical because I truly don't know.

GoldBthehypo · 11/03/2026 15:10

Actually the difference of paying slightly more outweighs cost of installing a new one. I have lived in my house for 12yrs now if I had replaced it when I moved in spending on average £3000 (as its London) with average lifespan of new boilers being 10-15yrs (but we all know they break quickly) I would be in 3yrs time looking to spend another £3000 to replace it. So £6k on replacing boilers whilst this one has been running fine.

Meanwhile last yr i spent only £394 in total on gas (excl standing charge) so even if i paid 40% more due to it being 40% less efficient thats only an extra £156 a yr.

It would take me 19yrs to recoup the cost of getting a new boiler installed and if i had to replace at 15yrs im actually losing money.

Besides I dont even bother getting it serviced so extra saving there. The money is set aside incase I need to replace it but why bother its cheaper for me to keep it until it breaks and then replace it. These boilers were built to last and rarely breakdown compared to newer models.

So no its not always better to replace
