Imagine being appointed Vice President of the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust, to focus on youth empowerment, education and gender equality and also becoming the Patron of The National Theatre and now being reduced to literally selling selfies, clearly living her best life.

Have you seen their accounts how do you know? Do you know how much they had to start with? What is invested and what it is earning. How many properties they might have earning them income? What do you know? Not enough just speculating

As I said earlier ( not sure if it was this thread) Harry himself complained about being “ cut off financially” after they went to California . He also complained about- and still does- having to pay for his own security.
Doesn’t sound like a man with no money concerns ?
I think so many people are laughing about the cash for selfies is because it does not align with their original grandiose plans .
Just in case you need a reminder here it is . Nowhere do I see mention of spread or flower sprinkles or selfies for cash.

Hilarious the attempts to try and say they aren’t in financial trouble.

  • They have let go most of their staff across the board - Archewell productions, Archewell Foundation and those connected to As ever
  • They closed down their foundation after only 5 years, and moved to a model where they have a financial sponsor and someone else takes on the admin costs. They couldn’t afford to keep the foundation
  • Any rich person, who would have bought that house, would have torn it down or at the very least did a complete refurbishment . They haven’t had the finances for this, they are still living with the kitchen table and chairs put in 20years ago by a Russian oligarch!
  • The house is showing wear and tear. The NYT even commented that the kitchen counter tops were ‘well worn’. It’s clear parts of the garden aren’t maintained- so they clearly they don’t employ enough staff.
  • They no longer have a partner in NF. They lost the Spotify gig long ago.

What exactly are their income streams? As ever is going nowhere and will soon wind up. Harry has better up but that’s it. They are now having to do events like this to try and raise some cash!

how she has demonstrated how a woman can be pushed down and she can still rise

What a laughable statement ……. the DoS has had more opportunities and privilege handed to her on a silver platter, with no track record of anything successful coming from all of those unmerited opportunities, and now some unknown radio host (unknown outside of Oz ) is offering Meghan a weekend paid gig as an emcee, and she considers that as Meghan rising ? LOL.

They can push this resilient bullshit as much as they want, still doesn’t make it true.

To be fair considering her position before, marrying Harry has certainly “elevated “ her lifestyle!

I don’t need to see their accounts. Everything said about their finances being in trouble is based on people having common sense and the ability to read between the many thousands of lines published about them.

But one last thing, if you’re questioning how I know they have financial issues including massive cash flow problems - how do you know they don’t? Or are people only allowed to think that they don’t?

CreamolaFoam26 · 11/03/2026 14:29

Im not wealthy in their terms but im very comfortable i bought my house 14yrs ago i still have the original boiler havent replaced it, kts now 40yrs old still going strong why rip something out for the sake of it

on a seperate note - I would replace the boiler as nothing 40 years old is going to be as energy efficient as a newer model. Keeping it is a false economy.

Well common sense like you said, people like OP have been saying they are running out of monwy ever since they left, yet here they are still living in the mansion. Common sense and what you see in real life is when ppl have money issues or are running out they downsize their house. Yet we havent seen that.

Yet we still have the like of OP banging on about them running out of money every year. Hard to take it seriously when they are proven wrong every year

The only reason they’re still living in the mansion is because they’ve pared everything else down to the bone in order to keep a roof over their head and not lose anymore face. Not that that aspect of it’s working just like almost everything else about them.

The flights and accommodation for Oz can’t be cheap!

CreamolaFoam26 · 11/03/2026 14:59

I wouldn’t be surprised if the organisers of the spa weekend are chipping in and now that the link to Invictus has been posted I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re chipping in as well.

And perhaps Meghans fee for the talk will cover one of the flight at least.

Yes, they will hold onto it as long as possible…even if it turns into Grey Gardens

I absolutely love the description of Meghan in the advert. It's got such strong David Brent (from 'The Office') vibes - cringy and funny in equal measure.

Edit: punctuation typo

My ex CEO (incidentally a ginger bloke who tried to do HIHO on leading our organisation when he fucked off to live in California with his wife) was allowed to write his own reference when we booted him out.

It was very much the same style, absolutely hilarious bollocks. We let it stand, because we knew it would get laughed out of the recruitment pile. He didn't get any sort of work for another five years!

Without a doubt, jeff, and that's why there's no denying she's played a blinder however ugly her behaviour

I wonder, however, if Harry still considers himself quite so lucky ...

Actually the difference of paying slightly more outweighs cost of installing a new one. I have lived in my house for 12yrs now if I had replaced it when I moved in spending on average £3000 (as its London) with average lifespan of new boilers being 10-15yrs (but we all know they break quickly) I would be in 3yrs time looking to spend another £3000 to replace it. So £6k on replacing boilers whilst this one has been running fine.

Meanwhile last yr i spent only £394 in total on gas (excl standing charge) so even if i paid 40% more due to it being 40% less efficient thats only an extra £156 a yr.

It would take me 19yrs to recoup the cost of getting a new boiler installed and if i had to replace at 15yrs im actually losing money.

Besides I dont even bother getting it serviced so extra saving there. The money is set aside incase I need to replace it but why bother its cheaper for me to keep it until it breaks and then replace it. These boilers were built to last and rarely breakdown compared to newer models.

So no its not always better to replace

I imagine at this point puzzled , Harry thinks exactly what he’s told to think!

BillyBites · 11/03/2026 15:21

LMAO at the notion of H&M not upgrading their house in order to save the planet! Such issues don't appear to trouble them when they're flying round the world on private jets.
Nor did they have concerns when they commissioned a couple of million quid on renovating Frogmore Cottage (only to piss off to the US and leave it empty soon after).
But someone else was paying for that (at the time - jury is out as to whether they ever did pay it back once it became public knowledge and attracted criticism) so who cares?

You could well be right, jeff, but then TBF he's in an awkward situation with the children domiciled in America

FWIW I've never believed for an instant that he couldn't bring them to the UK "because it's not safe". More likely, IMO, that Meghan won't let them come here in case he doesn't return with them, and if that's the case there could be difficulties ahead

Not that boilers have anything to do with this thread but your attitude to old boilers (not Meghan) is very concerning, so I would like to highlight to others how dangerous this can be in case anyone thinks this is acceptable. I hope at the very least you have a carbon monoxide detector.

not servicing an old gas boiler is highly dangerous and can be fatal
. It significantly increases the risk of carbon monoxide leaks, which cause over 100 deaths annually in England and Wales
. Unserviced, aging boilers are prone to failing components, gas leaks, and inefficient, deadly operatio
Key Risks of Ignoring Service:

Warning Signs an Old Boiler Needs Attention:
  • Yellow or orange flame instead of blue.
  • Soot staining or condensation on walls/windows.
  • Strange noises (banging, whistling).
  • Increased energy bills.
It is strongly recommended to have an annual service by a Gas Safe registered engineer to ensure safety, particularly for units over 15 years old, which may also be nearing the end of their lifespan.

I agree puzzled, there is obviously a reason the children are not being brought back to U.K. to visit 🤔 , if Meghan doesn’t want to come , Harry could himself.
i hate to say it but you could be right , I also think they are keeping them as bargaining chips.

CreamolaFoam26 · 11/03/2026 15:52

Re the children not coming to the UK. I can just imagine Meghan saying ‘if you take the children to the UK without me people will think our marriage is in trouble and you’re chosing your birth family over me’.

I applaud you without irony 👏. Never have so few wasted so much given by so many ( to massively misquote another man ) . I do think the pair of them think if they say something enough it is true. In the privacy of their own minds it may be true , but many others are a little more discerning. I think Harry doesn't wear his privilege lightly ( an unbecoming trait ) and I think M will have that privilege wrested out of her cold grasping hands rather than give it up. Increasingly , I think it's not a good look for either of them.
