I just love that BBC news subtly encapsulated her downfall in 3 paragraphs:

I agree. A bunch of Aussie journalists who know how to enjoy their drink. I’m sure the descriptions will be colourful.

Must be a pretty big fire for 300 to sit round it. No one is going to get to chat with Meghan, at best they'll get a photo.

How was Meghan pushed down? Having a clearly defined role in a hierachical organisation is not being pushed down. She was literally the 4th most senior woman in an actual monarchy that isn't being pushed down, if anything it's being elevated. Maybe she got the two confused like archetypes and stereotypes?

Makes you think…how much money they really got from the Spotify/NF deals?, if they’ve been reduced to selling selfies this quickly.

I agree and I think that’s quite embarrassing for Meghan.

Doing the maths on this, at an average cost of £1500 per person that’s a total revenue for the event of £450k.

By the time you cover the accommodation, food, drink (free bar), classes, DJ etc - I’d be surprised if the profit from the event was more than £150k, it could even be less.

With two founders to split that between, how much of that do they really want to give to Meghan? No way is she getting 6 figures, she might be getting a token fee of £20k or something, but certainly not major money.

We have Harry’s own words that he never thought his security would be pulled therefore having to pay it himself ( estimate £4 million a year) and that he was “ cut off” financially which kind of suggests he expected Pa to finance their flounce .
Compared to the majority of people they are rich but certainly not Hollywood rich .
Do you honestly think that M imagined she would be selling selfies when they took their Freedom Flight 6 years ago ?

Well, I guess she has to say that she admires Meghan for something. And it would be difficult to say that she admires her for what she's achieved!

There seems to be a great effort (in marketing this "girls' weekend," and in Meghan's general imagemongering) to puff suggestions of vague victimhood and vague achievement around. Hard to find any concrete specifics of either.

Online people are saying they are getting fyre festival vibes!
