I don't think Harry has any awareness that his status was derived from representing the crown, not from his birth. Lots of people are born into the Royal family, those that the crowds turn out to see are the ones actually working as Senior royals.

He still thinks he is a senior royal carrying out royal duties. That's why he bangs on about a life of duty and service whilst in reality he is surfing, hanging out at home whilst occasionally accepting an award or making a speech telling everything else what they are doing wrong.

I find him far more delusional than Meghan.

Yes he seems to think his very presence in the world makes it a greater place.

Now we are hearing now that Harry loved it when he was a jackeroo in Australia for two months. It was a " life changing experience" for him. It's a bit like Africa being his " second home" . He just likes the fun stuff doesn't he!

Just catching up. But hasn't it been pretty obvious since 2017 that H&M do not listen to and follow advice given to them by their (by now numerous) paid advisors?

I agree!

IMHO, the root cause of all of H&M's issues in the Royal Family, at Spotify and at Netflix is the same...their complete failure to follow good advice from highly competent professionals.

In that respect they’re extremely well matched. I don’t think it bodes well for their children though.

The only people who ever said Meghan was a Type A perfectionist were Meghan herself and her planted sources.

It all screams C list actor trying to break through via juvenile PR.

Joining the BRF never did Meghan any favours at all - it just exposed her. I think she wanted to learn, but found she couldn't so has just reverted back to the level of PR that she finds easy and comfortable. Unfortunately, she's no longer a C list actor whose BS never gets scrutinised.

I agree with this - she is a grasping, bullying, grifter who got away with a lot when she was at the dizzy heights of a C list celeb for 10 mins - but the exposure and scrutiny has revealed her to be a grandiose, delusional, arrogant and entitled, shallow puddle of an incompetent personality.

Whats interesting now is this scrutiny provides hours of hilarious entertainment every week from her own words and actions - but she will just spin these observation as some sort of agenda where she is a victim of racism - and which is another layer of eye roll on its own.

Yes in H's case not realising how popular he was when and because he had highly competent professionals around him - ie the men in grey suits. I think he thought M was more competent in navigating Hollywood , streaming services etc than she was and she thought any Royal fairy dust would stick to H come what may once he'd gone solo & she thought she could charm her way through the whole thing. . A bit of a folie a deux.

In the grand scheme of things they don't matter , of course , but I can't see why they can't occasionally see that just because they say something , doesn't make it true and they are to an extent making fools of themselves. (Well to a fair few anyway) . I suspect they live in a little bubble of belief and I wouldn't be surprised if H has a bit of a bunker , everyone's against us , mentality. Of course I don't know that , but saying in the post security case BBC interview "I wish someone had told me I couldn't win" and referencing a good old fashioned establishment stitch up does somewhat point that way.

How did Harry ever manage to follow checklists when he was a helicopter crew member in the army?

I am starting to think the ‘pilot career’ is exaggerated. He’s not bright enough, nor will he follow instructions. I’m also wondering if the rumours are true about his ‘service’ in Afghanistan involving quite a lot of unpleasantness.

They really did a number on each other didn’t they!
he misrepresented how powerful and rich he was , she pretended that she was a list in the Hollywood circle, both lied through their teeth and we are now seeing the results.

There is a good reason why his military nickname was “ bunker Harry”!

They moved from a foundation, in which they raised money and spent it on whatever causes they wanted. To a system where they have a financial sponsor, who also runs the admin but it also means they don’t control anything.

Does this mean that they will be held back by the financial sponsor?

A PP mentioned educating girls in countries where it’s not prioritised… that would have been a wonderful cause to support.

MonteShitshow · 09/03/2026 05:36

Beechtrees19 · 07/03/2026 20:20

Just why don’t they stop this posturing and fake philanthropy, stop making statements and flying around grinning inanely and actually start living authentic lives.

I’d miss the LOLz if they retreated into obscurity. I’d miss reading all these posts on MN. They are the one consistent joker headline amongst all the grim real-world news these days. Brooklyn Beckham articles don’t quite achieve that for me, and I’m also too old to know all the influencers mentioned in DM. So I need the Sussex stories.

corblimeyguvnr · 08/03/2026 12:25

I don't know why he's so red and sweaty. It's almost as if it's an afterthought - he was doing something else then thought " oh shit! I better send a message" 🤷‍♀️

He looks hot. I think he might have been doing some heavy lifting with all the bundles of As Ever products that are flying off the shelves.

Lilibet being photographed again for International Women's Day - for the " woman she will become". I know it's women's day but Archie never seems to get the same glare of publicity. People on here like to criticise the Royal children and being prepared for a role but it seems to go on too with the Sussexes even when they have no future Royal role.

Papercompany · 09/03/2026 09:55

Think the photo of Lilibet and 'the woman she will become' is such unnecessary publicity seeking. If they don't want their kids to get any media attention then don't mention them in the media. How does Harry square this in his head with his talk about the dangers of social media for young people?

Well according to Harry , it will be up to A and L if they become working Royals !! 🤷‍♀️

"Do as I say, don't do as I do" comes to mind! Absolute hypocrites the pair of them and in many areas of their lives.

JSMill · 09/03/2026 10:44

@Mylovelygreendressdid H actually say that?! Does he not look around at his family and see how the status of his aunt, uncles and cousins diminished as W married and had a family. Doesn’t he realise that will happen to him and his dcs?! Also why would he consider it a possibility when he hated BP and all the ‘planting and leaking’ to protect the ‘principles’?!
