Lilibet being photographed again for International Women's Day - for the " woman she will become". I know it's women's day but Archie never seems to get the same glare of publicity. People on here like to criticise the Royal children and being prepared for a role but it seems to go on too with the Sussexes even when they have no future Royal role.

Its international woman's day of course Archie wont be in it. Is there an international mens day? I dont think there is so we wont know if she woukd do something with Archie for it but can only assume she would.

I mean come on this isnt even something to criticise her on ffs.

She is sharing whatever pics she wants to like any of us do on Instagram. What's the issue? How is sharing some pictures of her children like many people and celebrities do equate to preparing them for a royal role. Its judt bog standard mum and child pic. She isnt taking them on a walk and having them wave at people...which is preparing kids for a royal role.

PullTheBricksDown · 09/03/2026 11:19

How can he say, 'the job I found toxic and that wrecked my life and emotional wellbeing, I'd like my kids to have the chance to do that'? Make it make sense!

PullTheBricksDown · 09/03/2026 11:21

Oh and International Men's Day is 19
November. Look forward to seeing their post about Archie then.

Think the photo of Lilibet and 'the woman she will become' is such unnecessary publicity seeking. If they don't want their kids to get any media attention then don't mention them in the media. How does Harry square this in his head with his talk about the dangers of social media for young people?

I think the dangers of social media for kids is bigger than just what pictures are shared. Having chats with my sister about it in relations to my nephews and nieces and whilst pictures is discussed its just one aspect.

In fact the biggest topics are centered around what they can access, parents not knowing their kids have Facebook, Instagram and tiktok accounts at an age they shouldn't have.

About those platforms being targeted through algorithms bombarding kids with unhealthy adverts making them think they need to look a certain way to be accepted.

My nephews like most kids watch YouTube content created by other kids, I watched one with them and in it these kids were eating loads of candy and guzzling down 2litre bottles of coke (obviously not really) but it appeared that they had. Even my nephew said thats bad to do that but this is what they are exposed to.

Now there is AI you could be the parent who never posts a single pic of your kid but guess what someone can take you picture you parent's pic and AI can generate a pretty realistic pic of what your kid is like. Infact someone posted an AI generated image of what one of theirs face would look like on another thread some time ago...I hope it got taken down.

Then there's the danger of social media and not having the right settings applied if you do decide they are old enough to have an account.

Same with gaming how many kids are allowed to play violent games when they arent even the right age.

All any parent can do is do is educate themselves and do their best, is that what most parents are doing..their best. End of the day you cannot and will not be able to keep them safe from everything

myrtleWilson · 09/03/2026 11:41

But @GoldBthehypo Harry specifically cautioned about putting photos of children online....

You beat me to it, PullTheBricksDown Smile

I'd just looked it up myself and apparently it's observed in about 90 countries, the US being among them, so perhaps Archie will indeed be mentioned?

Well i dont think anyone parent can di tate what there child can or csnt do when they have grown up. Who here will be like sorry child your not to be a doctor be ause it'll wreck your working life due to the hours you have to put in.

End of the day their kids will decide what they want to do and the option is there (maybe..not really sure the king st the time will allow it but its not something that has been publicly stated is off the table)

I dont know I cant get worked up over him saying that cos its pretty unlikely to happen.

If he said they wont be and deciding for them then im sure people would criricise him for being controlling and dictating what his kids do blah blah blah

ShamedBySiri · 09/03/2026 12:14

Of course the option won't be there, it's just laughable to suggest it. AMW back when he was Mummy's favourite son tried hard for B&E to become working members but they are just too far down the pecking order in a slimmed down Royal family. The children of the spare simply would never have that option even if they'd stayed here and knuckled down. One wonders sometimes how much Harry knows about the workings of the family he was born into.

It is simple.

They grow up away from all the genetic pain of that toxic family.

Then, when they're all grown up into well- balanced young adults, they swan in to the RF and show them how to do it right. Much like their mother did.

LoughNaFoo · 09/03/2026 12:15

Odd that the insta post was signed off “Papa Sussex” - how many other Papa’s does she have that this one needs to be identified with Sussex?

GoldBthehypo · 09/03/2026 12:16

myrtleWilson · 09/03/2026 11:41

But @GoldBthehypo Harry specifically cautioned about putting photos of children online....

Yeah caution being the point, lots of advice out there for parents is about think about the impact of oversharing or them being exposed to things etc. I havent seen anywhere say their advice is never share a picture. Not even the NSPCC says that. Its all about consider it and be aware of what could happen, the risks, dangers if you share.

End of the day every parent risk assesses thing they do, is it safe enough to let mt child go to school on there own now, are they old enough, is sharing these pictures online exposing them to more dangers particular if I shared ones of them naked.

End of the day most of us are hypocrites to a degree, we might say on forums or conversations we care about the ennvrionemt but we still fly for holidays, have a car etc. We do our best to minimise our impacts but we are still hypocrites to a degree.

Yes he might be highlighting dangers of social media and overcharging images and still share some images himself but he is no different to billions of people who do the same including other celebrities and other members of the Royal family ..as per my example of william going on about protecting the Amzon but happily travelling and attending an event where they cut down a long stretch of the Amazon to build a road for...hypocrital right.

No one is interested in seeing your nieces or nephews though. The press are interested in the Sussex children by this type of posting by Meghan. She's created an interest . Harry has given in it seems.

It's part of a general trend of a focus on Lilibet . It's very obvious. This is not a one off.

That's a pretty shite article really. In one sentence they say " a spokesperson for the Sussexes" then they say they don't comment on issues relating to the Sussex children. It's just froth.

I guess Papa didn’t cut it for her, must have been hard for her to remove the ‘Duke of’ 😜

How is Papa Markle doing since his DD dissed, humiliated and silenced him in a long winded media assault when his leg was being amputated?

Lest we forget.

He is no saint himself and did his first share of humiliating her too. I think its best theyvdecide how their relationship should be based on all the toxic stuff that has happened instead of us judging and deciding it for them. Because everyone woukd handle it differently and there is no right or wrong.

bluegreygreen · 09/03/2026 13:34

Harry's advice about posting pictures of children online came during his appearance on the Hasan Minhaj podcast - just after the children were on Meghan's Instagram for Hallowe'en.

Minhaj asked for his thoughts on images online being manipulated with AI and whether parents should post photos of their children online.
“Parents can do whatever they want,” Harry responded.
“But from what I’ve seen, what I’ve heard, what I’ve experienced, is you should be really really worried, concerned and cautious about putting photographs of your kids online."
