I think that is a huge assumption.

William has to do his job to the best of his abilities as asked by the government.

He may well, and I personally think likely, detest Trump but one of the downsides of being in the RF representing the UK in such situations is that you don’t have the luxury of expressing dislike for who you are meeting.

It takes a while for what is going on here to seep over to the States, but Chuck Schumer (the most senior Democrat in the country) has said Andrew should come over and testify.

He must have donated to many charities in his time. So what the Charity Commission is expected to do with this information is unclear - they don’t expect charities to be psychic.

The US authorities have held the Epstein files for years and there's a reciprocal intelligence sharing alliance.

These were treated as highly classified files initially. Even iin the unlikely event the US State Department had seen fit to share them, how do you expect they would have made their way into the open source screening resources used by charities for their checks?

Of course I don't expect the findings to have made their way into checks available to regular charities but that's no reason to think information sharing at a far higher security level doesn't occur.
