@bluegreygreen

The radio one clip was pre recorded .
William is probably on holiday

The last we heard from re mental health he was ‘concerned’ about Andrew’s mental health

Do you have a link for that ? I googled but saw nothing about W being concerned about AMW .

A fish rots from the head down.

Despite current attempts at subtle brainwashing of the masses with positive spins on certain RF member's personality traits etc. I'll be sticking with the above line.

Yes. And I am 3/4 of the way through Norman Baker's latest book and the chapter on Andrew, and I have to say... Charles has done a lot wrong too. It's all about finances and where the money comes from, they both have done dubious deals. Andrew far more than Charles of course, but there really are questions that could be asked of him too.

And here is a list of Andrew's friends and close associates 🤮😮 (There's 2 pages to read)

@NoDrums

We are told various things re William and Andrew - whatever they think the PR needs at that

I don’t believe anything they say . I watch what they do.

When Charles took over there was an attempt to rehabilitate Andrew’s image . Headlines such as ‘all together at Christmas’ even - believe it or not - floating the idea that Andrew was more acceptable than Harry because Andrew kept his mouth shut . Yes royalists on here have said just that .

Then photographs of William with Andrew in the front seat and Kate grinning away in the back . On the way to church of course .

Not related to William in particular but remember Andrew draped in his velvet curtains as ‘honourable order of the garter’ - William, Camilla trooping along too . That image is propaganda .

The Windsors have known for years and years . They thought they could get away with the usual tricks - happy family image / ridiculous get ups presented as our ‘culture’

The facts are they knew about Epstein and Andrew - have known for decades . They covered up for him
My question is how are Charles and William also linked ?

I think about the ‘Epstein class’ as senator Khanna has named it . He has repeatedly called for Andrew to appear before congress

Really @Mylovelygreendress
Try again

The times , the mirror , international news sources
I am getting tired of providing ‘links!’ .

Whether William is truly concerned I have no idea .As I said above I’m I do not believe anything they say .
But it was printed

@Ukisgaslit100% agree with you. I recently watched a BBC interview with Ro Khanna where he said this is a reckoning of the global elite. I doubt it will happen but it would be something else to see Andrew grilled by US Congressmen and women. They don’t hold back.

@MidWayThruJanuarythank you for the link. I held out an itsy bitsy hope that William would drag the swamp but that suggests that what we have been sold is not entirely true.

@simpsonthecat I’m just about to start on Norman Baker’s book. Just need some time to recover from Entitled. There was a great comment that a lady made on Lownie’s substack, she said she had to put the book down periodically and walk around her flat to sort of shake off what she had read because it was so shocking.

Had anyone read Virginia Guiffre’s book?

Edited

This deserves a mention - “velvet curtains” 🤣

Brilliant. That’s exactly what I thought when I saw pictures of the Order of the Garter thing.

I can’t scroll up but a PP said that the RFs have been outed and their tatty underwear revealed. Made me chuckle.

The whole sordid topic is grim, frustrating and repugnant but in it, on this thread, these little snippets of humour (intended or not), really go along way.

@NoDrums

Notice how the next Windsor up is always presented as the ‘new broom’

We were promised Charles would ‘slim down ‘ the monarchy . He takes more than ever
We were told he would reform . Has he ?

Once one is literally ensconced , no time is wasted in then sending the message that the next one up will ‘reform’ and so the gullible are strung along
There is a reason that the ‘king is dead long live the king ‘ is declared . No time , not one minute , for we citizens to say- wait a minute .

When Charles dies we should be asked if we want to continue with this rip off . We are a so called democracy. Let us have our say.

They did it over 100 years ago in Norway .
Why can’t we ?

simpsonthecat · 18/02/2026 12:10

Yes to Order of Garter get up, berets with feathers, velvet curtains complete with massive tie backs, a lot of garb

But what I found more shocking was this. Andrew and his ex wife of 40 years, Sarah, leading the royal Family into church for a memorial service for ex King Constantine of Greece.

WTAF were they thinking? Surely someone could have stopped this. Surely Charles or Anne or advisors could say to Andrew, you can attend this service but you do not walk in with the rest of the family. It was less than 2 years ago.

Someone somewhere (a Palace official?) said this
However, it's understood that the disgraced Duke was not officially leading the Windsors because the order of precedence was in reverse order of seniority

Do they actually think we're thick? They weren't walking in backwards 😂

bluegreygreen · 18/02/2026 12:13

The radio one clip was pre recorded .

I'm not entirely sure of your point. Many radio clips are.

It was a panel discussion with a clinician in charge of mental health services at a charity, two musicians, and a young man with relevant personal experience.

All these people will have committed to being there, and will have been affected in different ways if PW let them down - just because people feel he shouldn't be continuing to do his job.

simpsonthecat · 18/02/2026 12:19

And Charles invited the two of them to Easter Sunday church service less than a year ago. I could link photos but I'm sure you don't want to see their faces

They were both very front and centre walking into church

bluegreygreen · 18/02/2026 12:23

I think KC3 was entirely wrong to bring AMW back into public family events.

The late Queen was too slow to act, but when she did she did so decisively. AMW was not at Sandringham at Christmas at the end of her reign; KC3 brought him back in 2022.

simpsonthecat · 18/02/2026 12:25

Although QE2 only acted on what became public knowledge and the peasants were revolting 😂

The rest she covered up successfully.

MidWayThruJanuary · 18/02/2026 12:27

Hollow laugh.

Excellent point. And I was fooled. But now that you point it out, yes, Charles went on and on about how he would slim down the monarch …. crickets … and now, it’s touted to be William. The new broom. But it never happens.

@simpsonthecat they tried all they could to resuscitate Andrew’s image and the one they keep falling back on is walking to a church for something or the other. The only reason he’s been noisily made persona non grata was because the public and media woke up. And right now, that too is just an empty act. He’s still living in luxury compared to most of the country, under the protection of the monarch, where even the fire brigade can’t enter, if there’s a fire there, without KC’s permission.

@bluegreygreen I wasn’t suggesting the radio show be canceled, and given that it’s pre-recorded, it’s airing. The content there is important and bigger than W. But what doesn’t sit well - or rather infuriates - is the PR speak that W was spouting and equally the sychopancy of the presenter, all of which are some of the reasons why the RF has managed to get away with blue murder.

And the Queen did not take decisive action on Andrew. All her actions have been to protect the interest of the RF and her son, at the cost of the women, the insider dealing, the money he made
for himself while traveling lavishly and repeatedly at the taxpayer’s expense. I think it’s one of the greatest cons of all time.

simpsonthecat · 18/02/2026 13:48

Ros Atkins always gets to the bottom of the matter
So many questions
So many "The Palace declined to comment"
That's fine if there is an ongoing police inquiry but it cannot stay like that. Because it will erode any trust the public has in the palace, apart from the bonkers royalists who think they can do no wrong

TheAutumnCrow · 18/02/2026 13:58

Lots of police activity according to the BBC. The Met are further investigating the role of the royal protection officers.
………………………………..

‘police forces across the UK have said they are assessing whether to launch investigations into Epstein-related allegations. They are:
Thames Valley Police - assessing allegations that a second woman was sent to the UK by Epstein for a sexual encounter with the former prince
Essex Police - examining flight logs and emails referencing Epstein's private jet using Stansted Airport
Bedfordshire Police - assessing Epstein's use of London Luton Airport
Met Police - launched a criminal investigation into Peter Mandelson, following claims he passed market-sensitive information to Epstein
Surrey Police - seeking information on an allegation of human trafficking and sexual assault dating back to the mid-1990s
Norfolk Constabulary - reviewing Epstein files but have not received specific allegations
Wiltshire Police - reviewing its records and "cannot definitively say that we have not had any allegations at this stage"
The National Police Chiefs' Council said it had set up a national coordination group to support the number of forces carrying out enquiries.’

TheAutumnCrow · 18/02/2026 14:07

Let’s face it, if QE2 was using her position and paying out money in order to cover up sex trafficking and her son’s crimes, then she’s implicated in a conspiracy involving sex trafficking and misconduct in public office.

This is about as a huge a story as it gets.

I simply don’t understand why Andrew is also not being investigated for passing on market-sensitive private-side information to people who
had no right to it, before anyone else. That is much easier to look into rather than trying to find proof of trafficking (not saying that it’s any less important and that therefore it should
be ignored). I’m just afraid that all these police investigations will end with “Nothing to see here”.

MPs may look into the info leaks apparently. Why on earth is not will? More a rhetorical question at this point. If it was anyone else, they would have been hung and quartered.

It’s also high time that an unelected head of state starts acting like they are living in a democracy. KC should have verbally said something but no, why bother.

Impossible to prove but all signs point to it.

Or maybe it is possible to prove if the government had the appetite for it. Not holding my breath on any justice being done.

I think BP has said KC will support police into any investigation into Andrew (been in DM , Sky News etc) . That's a start. It won't be immediate I am sure , but let's see.

Thank you so much for this

Never has an article encapsulated so much of what I think. I wish every single Royalist could read it.

In the past when a Republic has been argued for, or a total slim down of what we've got, the arguments are always we don't want a President Trump (despite it being explained again and again that is not what we would have because of how we are set up with a PM. People choose not to understand)
Then we have the pathetic argument of tourism. Yawn. And Soft power. Double yawn.
This is all explained so sensibly in this article.

I am going to save it for future posting of some of it, and for re-reading.

And yes, Vanessa Feltz is hugely royalist. Always has been. She's probably hoping for a gong for services to broadcasting or something.
