Sarah Ferguson - just as bad as Andrew?

So whilst Epstein was serving house arrest following his conviction for sex trafficking young girls, Fergie sent him messages - from the BBC:

Some emails in the latest release appear to be between Epstein and Sarah Ferguson, Andrew's ex-wife.
One email dated 4 April 2009, was signed "Love, Sarah, The red Head.!!"
It says that she was going to be in Palm Beach and wanted to have tea. The email goes on to discuss ideas for Ferguson's company, Mother's Army. The former Duchess of York refers to Epstein as "My dear spectacular and special friend Jeffrey".
She calls him a "legend" and says "I am so proud of you".
The financier was still under house arrest for his 2008 conviction when the email exchange was sent.

Ignoring the money she took and questionable business arrangements, ignoring Andrews behaviour even (that's in another thread). How can any woman, who knows this man is trafficking young girls, act like this?

Please tell me she no longers receives any sort of public funding/housing from the tax payer?

I wonder why so many people who hardly knew him, expressed incredible affection for him? It can't be that they really felt that

Mercurysinretrograde · 01/02/2026 06:39

Maybe her next book can be “Budgie on Fire”. I think she saw a good looking, very wealthy man (and in her deluded mind a potential husband) and was genuinely comfortable to overlook all the sleaze and horrific trafficking of young women of which she was fully aware, because she is primarily driven by money. She believes she is entitled to a certain lifestyle and will stop at nothing to achieve it. Her avarice came out clearly in Andrew Lonnie’s book.

I think she would put herself in any situation where she can sponge money and attention. Both her and Andrew are literal pigs in throughs

pigs are social and lively animals. Fergie snd Andrew are not.

SparklyGlitterballs · 01/02/2026 07:37

If you're grading them then she probably isn't as bad as Andrew as she wasn't physically abusing these girls. However, her sycophantic behaviour is off the scale, so OTT. She was doing it just to get what she could from him and turning a blind eye to what she could see going on. I'd bet she wasn't unaware.

I reckon one of her girls may put her up temporarily, but I believe she has no long term option with either of them. Bloody well serves her (and Andrew) right that they're in this shamed position. No doubt though that some idiot will come along and help one or both of them. The press is already speculating that Andrew is being offered refuge in Dubai in some posh dwelling. It's just sickening.

pouletvous · 01/02/2026 07:38

Of course. Wasn’t the Epstein relationship forged when he paid off some of Fergie’s debts?

MidWayThruJanuary · 01/02/2026 07:55

So in an email to Epstein she told him Eugenie was away on a ‘shagging weekend’. Mother of the Year!

Zippedydodah · 01/02/2026 07:55

The simple fact is that the pair of them have no morals or conscience, are greedy, arrogant and utterly odious. They were up for anything that Epstein had to give whether holidays, money, gifts, underage girls, extravagant parties, private plane flights etc
Epstein obviously had plenty of evidence to prove that Andrew and his wife were indebted to him.
I think there’s much more, and worse, to come.
Eugenie and Beatrice aren’t totally innocent either, they’ve happily accepted expensive gifts and huge sums of money from Epstein. They must have known something about what was going one, they were adults not children.
They’re definitely contaminated by association with both Epstein and their hideous parents.

pimplebum · 01/02/2026 07:58

TheHaplessWit · 31/01/2026 18:44

Wow - so you think it's OK to sell girls in the UK as long as they are over 16? what kind of moral position is that?

And you think it's OK for Royal Family members to think that people who do such things are 'legends', 'special' and 'spectacular'.

My word, the mental gymnastics of some RF defenders are unreal.

I was defending Andrew right up to recently

it’s not mental gymnastics it was based on the facts that we knew at the time

for me ( at the beginning, not now). I felt sorry for Andrew and how it was all affecting him ( poor lamb) I saw him as some over privileged twit who slept with some young ladies who were in his vicinity who seemed to want to sleep with him . As someone who has had EVERYONE fawn and fall over themselves to suck up to him his whole life he would not have had the mental wherewithal to to cop on and realise these women were trafficked girls

ive always been a fan of fergie so I’m gutted she is up to eyeballs in this shit as well

both can fuck iff and die in a hovel now as far as I’m concerned

Rumpledandcrumpled · 01/02/2026 08:03

It was all about the money for Sarah and having wealthy friends. I won’t go into detail as outing, but I have met her briefly where she tried to access my companies hospitality, and I had to go over and tell her no. She’s no shame and just puts her hand out.

Ritasueandbobtoo9 · 01/02/2026 08:06

There were rumours that one of the top monarchy was a paedophile years ago. Not just someone who liked young ladies of over 26. It was known. It was covered up. People protected him. Sarah F turned a blind eye with a foolish mind. I can’t feel a thing about them having to make a come down by moving to a five bedroom farmhouse when all across the country, good people are waiting for homes and have nowhere.

MidWayThruJanuary · 01/02/2026 08:08

@Ritasueandbobtoo9
Are you referring to Lord Louis Mountbatten ?

BadSkiingMum · 01/02/2026 08:24

The whole thing is horrific. I am wondering when the penny will drop in the minds of Beatrice and Eugenie, who are raising young children. Perhaps it already has.

General cultural observation (not my own beliefs or excusing any involvement by Sarah Ferguson):

One thing that people overlook is that there was a huge phenomenon in the late nineties and early noughties whereby people ‘recovered’ repressed memories of childhood sexual abuse through therapeutic methods. A lot of this was later discredited and of course the press had an absolute field day. The ‘satanic panic’ happened around the same time period, a bit earlier.

So I remember that for a long time the media framing and social discourse around someone accused of sexual abuse was that it must of course be false and that even if someone was charged by the police it was all a big mix-up and the ‘truth’ would come out in the fullness of time. Victims were seen as deluded troublemakers and perpetrators were seen as victims, especially in the right wing press. There is still a very strong whiff of this in those who defend Mountbatten-Windsor now.

This was of course disastrous for the general understanding of safeguarding and preventing abuse. It only really changed once the sheer number of scandals involving prominent people forced a change of mindset.

As for record keeping, this was before any major data breaches happened so people did tend to believe that emails and digital records were entirely secure and private. So it is quite likely that Epstein would have seen nothing risky about keeping photos and emails, as they would never conceivably come to light.

I think it will run and run. There is a lot to still come out in the USA and it is surely only a matter of time before someone in one of the royal households or police protection teams properly breaks cover, perhaps once they retire.

BeardofHagrid · 01/02/2026 08:27

I cannot stand the bloody woman or tbh the two girls. I wish they’d just go away. Private Eye said Charles wasn’t fussed about getting rid of Andrew but William made him. I just wish they’d cast out the two girls too.

She's awful, just disgusting.

What has shocked/surprised me is the out and out arse licking OTT way both she and many of the other (eg. Mandelson) wrote to him...so weird.

Money talks

I agree with everything you’ve said. They are all in it, up to their necks. Motivated by pure greed.

When you think about it the British public has endured more than average amount of shocking ''scandal'' about royal family -
Edward - abdication
Margaret - marriage scandals, drinking, arrogant, lovers
Charles Diana and Camilla - big scandal
Mountbatten - stories about orphan boys
Dianna and Dodi - great tragedy
Harry and Meghan - huge rupture with Royal Family
Sarah & Andrew - endless bad behaviour - sex, lying, Epstein, never had enough money etc

nopiesleftinthisvehicle · 01/02/2026 08:58

The Andrew Lownie book is brilliant.
He focuses on each of them in alternate chapters.

In the prologue he speaks of how many years it took him to write (6 I think) how many thousands of people close to each of them he contacted and how many spoke with him - hundreds.

They come across as equally loathsome.

Coffeeishot · 01/02/2026 08:58

Sarah Ferguson wouldn't have "seen" these young women as actual people they would be decoration, at worst, entrtainment at best. SF is such a grifter she would take money and status over everything, they are both sleazey

Because they were not the type of girls her girls socialised with. They were/are lesser beings there for service / entertainment / to be thrown away.

I get what you’re saying, yet Sarah F gives the appearance of being quite prepared to use her own daughters (the younger of whom was still a late teenager) to ‘appeal’ to Epstein.

See the ‘shagging’ email about Eugenie.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-15515741/Sarah-Ferguson-told-Jeffrey-Epstein-waiting-daughter-Beatrice-come-s-ing-weekend.html

(You have to ignore the headline writers.)

Prior to this, she had carted both Beatrice and Eugenie off to the US to visit him in 2009, and Epstein was of course invited to various York family parties where the princesses were present.

Ferguson is more monster than mother. And Andrew never minded.

Ferguson told Epstein waiting Beatrice return 'from s****ing weekend'

The extraordinary exchange is contained in the tranche of three million documents released as part of The Epstein Files on Friday.

Speaks volumes doesn’t it, she knew he liked that sort of sleazy talk and was prepared to use her daughters to suck up to him. Abominable disgusting. E&B must be horrified that she would abuse them in this way.

Yes the royal family have had so many scandals. The only decent ones are Prince William and Catherine. No scandal as far as I know anyway! He deserves to be king.

Craftysue · 01/02/2026 10:26

They had more than most of us could dream of - money, beautiful homes , healthy kids etc and it still wasn't enough.
I don't have an ounce of sympathy for either of them. They come across as so entitled. I really wonder if they have any remorse for their actions?
