Sarah Ferguson - just as bad as Andrew?

So whilst Epstein was serving house arrest following his conviction for sex trafficking young girls, Fergie sent him messages - from the BBC:

Some emails in the latest release appear to be between Epstein and Sarah Ferguson, Andrew's ex-wife.
One email dated 4 April 2009, was signed "Love, Sarah, The red Head.!!"
It says that she was going to be in Palm Beach and wanted to have tea. The email goes on to discuss ideas for Ferguson's company, Mother's Army. The former Duchess of York refers to Epstein as "My dear spectacular and special friend Jeffrey".
She calls him a "legend" and says "I am so proud of you".
The financier was still under house arrest for his 2008 conviction when the email exchange was sent.

Ignoring the money she took and questionable business arrangements, ignoring Andrews behaviour even (that's in another thread). How can any woman, who knows this man is trafficking young girls, act like this?

Please tell me she no longers receives any sort of public funding/housing from the tax payer?

Every family has its skeletons in the closet.

Is this some sort of justification? I can promise you, I have absolutely nothing even remotely like that in my family

OvernightBloats · 01/02/2026 16:47

She has reinvented herself successfully over the years but there is no way she can make a comeback after this. Her greed for money and status knows no bounds, where she was happy to turn a blind eye to Epstein's depravity so she could line her own pockets.

Hopefully both Andrew and her will emigrate and settle quietly into oblivion somewhere. Although, I wouldn't be surprised if she tries to turn it around for herself in some way. Wait and see!

simpsonthecat · 01/02/2026 16:52

Epstein was never actually convicted of sex trafficking or sex with an underage person.

Why do you say that? Yes he was. This was when Acosta, the then US Attorney for Florida negotiated a sweetheart deal for him. He was trafficking minors FFS.
In 2008, Jeffrey Epstein pleaded guilty to Florida state charges of soliciting prostitution and procuring a person under the age of 18 for prostitution

Maybe it's just me, but I sense an undercurrent of justifying the behaviours of Andrew, Sarah and even Epstein within this thread 🤮

She’s pathetic, amoral and I have no time for her, but no. She isn’t as bad as Andrew, or any of the other men who abused and exploited young girls. Not even close.

Oh, how so? She is every bit as bad!

simpsonthecat · 01/02/2026 16:56

Let's remember even the disgusting Epstein was moaning that Sarah was continually asking for money and he'd had enough. She was on his payroll in some way, no wonder she called him her supreme friend and the brother she never had.

Posters on here really ought to read "The Rise and Fall of the House of York". I knew it would be bad, but it is far far worse than you could ever imagine. To be honest, it makes me incensed that the biggest cover up imaginable has been happening by the Monarchy. The only reason Andrew has been cast out is because of public pressure and good reporting. Not because they think he did anything wrong.

MidWayThruJanuary · 01/02/2026 17:17

How anyone can view the RF in a good light after this is beyond me.

PlumDeNomNomNom · 01/02/2026 17:21

JustPocketChange · 31/01/2026 18:56

I don’t think she’s as bad as Andrew, although I’m sure there is more to come so I should withhold judgement. Nothing would surprise me at this point.

The girls were over 16 which was all anyone paid attention to here at the time.

This was 2008/2009. You’re talking like it was hundreds of years ago, we definitely would have thought this sort of thing was despicable only 16/17 years ago.

The minimising 🙄

I seem to remember the British press being pretty revolting at the time. I’m of an age with Billie piper and when she was 15 there was a countdown to her 16th birthday. Nudge, nudge, wink, wink. Then there was a lingerie clad shoot and she was voted rear of the year. It was so pervy.

NoDrums · 01/02/2026 17:24

I just feel so sad that Virginia Giuffre took her own life and will never get to see Andrew get his comeuppance.

IMO 16 is still very much a child. So is 18 really. But 16 being considered some form of threshold between girl and woman, just doesn’t make sense to me.

@simpsonthecat

I’d wanted to and then forgot all about it.

Is it still worth reading, after the most recent revelations from yesterday?

Edited

It won't have the recent revelations in, although I understand he is bringing out a paperback version at some point. It is a page turner, that's for sure. And bear in mind he has between 250-300 people who have corroborated his findings, and are happy to have their names put at the beginning of the book. So it is not some trash rubbish, it was years being researched.

It is beyond shocking and it opened my eyes to what has been hidden from us for decades to do with Andrew and Sarah

Wow - so you think it's OK to sell girls in the UK as long as they are over 16? what kind of moral position is that?

And you think it's OK for Royal Family members to think that people who do such things are 'legends', 'special' and 'spectacular'.

My word, the mental gymnastics of some RF defenders are unreal.

She didn’t say that.

I can understand extreme poverty driving a pathological need for huge wealth.

However, what is behind someone who is brought up in an exceptionally privileged way becoming grasping and avaricious?

Sarah Ferguson had a pretty unhappy childhood - her parents were unhappily married - her mother married Ronald Ferguson when she was19 and he 16 years older, and had two children by the time she was 21. When Sarah was 13 her mother abruptly left the family and moved to Argentina to live with her boyfriend.

Sarah herself had relationships with older wealthy men - between the ages of 23 and 27 she lived with motor racing manager Paddy McNally who allegedly refused to marry her, leading to her leaving him and starting the relationship with Andrew.

Sarah is 100% responsible for her own venal and grasping behaviour here, and I don’t imagine you’ll find many with any sympathy for what her emails to Epstein reveal about her character, but I don’t think you need a huge imagination to think she is probably desperately insecure and equates money with stability.

Cry me a river. Plenty of people grow up with difficult childhoods and it spurs them on to help others and play their part in making society better.
She could have done that rather than be a paedophile apologist and grasping grifter.

Serenster · 01/02/2026 18:18

Oh I completely agree, but I was just responding to the poster who said that Sarah didn’t come from poverty so why is she so grasping. I think there’s an obvious possible explanation for it. But as I said - she’s entirely responsible for her own behaviour and the predicament she is now in.

For every saint there is a Hitler

Mother Teresa herself was not as saintly as she was promoted and dont look too close at ghandi either

So where were the parents of these 'poor, victimised girls'? Happy to let them go off to who knows where with a random man - seem very strange to me. Perhaps they were hoping the girls would bring some money back to the home.

Ukisgaslit · 01/02/2026 19:15

@simpsonthecat

The royalist apologists for Andrew didn’t take long to crawl out.
Stomach churning .
I’ve seen it many times here but I thought even they would keep their head down now . Seems I was wrong .

However those posts down playing Andrew’s behaviour do reveal the sort of person you have to be to support the Windsors .

Lets hope they are bots. The Windsors spend a fortune on them .

Do you have any idea about impoverished children who live with a mother or father who don't care a fuck about them?
No, obviously not.
The girls were poor and vulnerable and recruited by Maxwell from outside of schools, Malls and trailer parks.
Words fail me with 'seems very strange to me'. Not everyone lives with loving caring parents you know...

Really... you need to educate yourself about trafficking. Please do.

I reckon SF will be pulling the celebrity “retreat from reality” soon into a clinic like The Priory (anyone willing to lend, I mean give , her the dosh?) to a) divert attention, b) garner sympathy.

She is certainly not above playing the mental health card.

So you think none of this really happened and the whole thing is just an elaborate vendetta against poor beleaguered Andrew, formally known as Prince.

Also were the moon landings fake, COVID caused by 5g and is Elvis really dead or is he running a dry cleaners in Merthyr Tydfil.

And whilst you might think you were being hilarious with your last point it's actually bang on the money, as Virginia Giuffre claimed her father accepted money from Jeffrey Epstein in exchange for her.

When you think about it the British public has endured more than average amount of shocking ''scandal'' about royal family -
Edward - abdication
Margaret - marriage scandals, drinking, arrogant, lovers
Charles Diana and Camilla - big scandal
Mountbatten - stories about orphan boys
Dianna and Dodi - great tragedy
Harry and Meghan - huge rupture with Royal Family
Sarah & Andrew - endless bad behaviour - sex, lying, Epstein, never had enough money etc

The irony is that a lot of those things now wouldn't cause most people to bat an eyelid. A single man wanting to marry a single (albeit divorced) woman? And vice versa for Margaret and PT? It's hardly on the same level as actual abuse.

Not defending them but they're hardly alone, most of the European royal families have their fair share of scandal. The Norwegian crown princess also sent dodgy Epstein emails and her son is currently in court accused of multiple rape, violence and drug charges.
