The nepo baby track is being rapidly derailed by advancing technology so A&L will likely not have this option as their parents, like other nepo-baby parents, cannot compete with AI.

If you are the Netflix/Amazon/HBO/Disney CEO looking to grow corporate profitability which would you pick?

Option A: a high maintenance nepo-baby who can spout off at any time thereby alienating potential audiences (e.g. latest Snow White movie) plus the added headache of equally high maintenance parents.

Option B: software completely under your control.

Seedance 2.0 has a viral video of Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt fighting...except neither star was there and the set never existed. It was a two-line prompt into an AI generative software. Once the copyright and royalties are sorted out for legacy stars, it is likely that the next generation of entertainers are increasingly digital and real stars who age will become as obsolete as an 8-track cassette.

Seedance 2.0 Sparks Hollywood Backlash

New AI Video Generator Sparks Major Hollywood Backlash

TikTok's owner is behind the model Seedance 2.0, which is being greeted akin to OpenAI's Sora 2 in the industry, with major studios as well as SAG-AFTRA signaling alarm over its infringement potential.

Agree - it just doesn’t make sense.

Of course there is a difference between your child using social media and their image being added online by the parent, but Harry himself has explicitly said that people should be very concerned and worried about putting images of their children online. He’s also talked at length about the harms of growing up in the public eye that he experienced - yet his wife is posting more and more photos and videos of their children on social media, and now cannot even hide behind the excuse that she’s only showing the back of their heads. I wonder sometimes how much Harry is aware of what she’s actually posting online, but even if he didn’t see it directly (if he really doesn’t use social media, which I doubt), it gets re-shared in all the MSM that he hates, and we know that they’re both obsessive about reading everything about themselves so I can’t see how he could not be aware.

I note on the other thread their fans are desperately trying to defend this by claiming a. It’s not a full frontal face shot so it doesn’t count and b. They’ve never said it’s bad to put photos of your child online. It’s laughable really.

Yes tying themselves in knots. So funny. 🥨

Ohpleeeease · 15/02/2026 18:37

Tights ok for her own daughter then.

ThePoshUns · 15/02/2026 21:56

🤣

RecoIIectionsMayVary · 15/02/2026 22:04

Just been reading about the new release of Epstein files. In my defence I have just finished watching Black Doves on Netflix.

Anything seems possible now.

Butteredtoast55 · 15/02/2026 22:05

I thought it looked like Lilli had been to a ballet class. It looks like a ballet outfit.

TheAutumnCrow · 15/02/2026 11:50

That balloon photo does look somewhat photoshopped or otherwise AI-altered. Maybe nothing in it is really real.

Surely not, I thought they never used photoshop after Kate’s faux pas?!

Well, as pp said upthread, one of the helium balloons (are they helium balloons? - very poor form if so) doesn’t appear to have a string attached to it.

Lili’s arm ‘on’ Harry is all wrong. The light looks wrong in places.

But it’s probably all just some silly gameplaying to cause a mild stir and force comparisons with C.

That’s a left hand on a right arm. It’s why it looks wrong!

The Grenfell Community Kitchen charity, that Meghan was involved in has closed down.

That's a shame. It was an excellent cause. I suppose the community has now been resettled so not really the same need for it now?

Yes. I can’t really see how it’s Meghan’s fault that a charity set up to meet a specific need has closed down 10 years down the line!

Ohpleeeease · 17/02/2026 11:11

Charities wind up all the time. It's what happens when they run their course. The charity register is cluttered up with small charities that are barely functioning, it's a good thing administratively for them to combine or wind up if possible.

Jbum · 17/02/2026 11:31

And? What's your point in saying this? Another reason to have to snark about Meghan?

Atlanti · 17/02/2026 12:08

Agree.

I live nearby and it’s been emotional watching the tower being slowly dismantled floor by floor over the past few months. It’s about half way down now. I hope the survivors of that horror story have been able to move forward with their lives to some degree and I hope that initiative and the sparkle of MM or anyone - brought those families a glimmer of comfort or distraction for even a moment.

Thedom · 17/02/2026 12:43

Very curt statement from Hubb Kitchen.

“A spokesman for the Hubb Kitchen told the Daily Mail: 'I can't talk about the Duchess of Sussex, but the Hubb community kitchen has stopped.'

We know H&M utilise watertight NDA’s to prevent anyone saying anything that is not nice about them, sounds like there is an NDA in place with the volunteers and charity workers

Edited

Or it could be that they don’t want to be drawn into the anti Sussex discourse. They’ve already had to shut down their Instagram page because of a pile on.

Sumpling · 17/02/2026 15:18

Honestly, if I worked for a charity and was trying to deal with it being closed down, and some Daily Mail wanker was pestering me for a quote about a celebrity (who'd probably had minimal involvement in it anyway), then I can see myself being pretty curt as well.

MrsLeonFarrell · 17/02/2026 15:46

It isn't really anything to do with Meghan now is it? And quite understandable that this particular charity would have a fairly short life.

Yes - I don't think she's visited the project since 2022.

And the last time she did visit and the charity commented they had to close their Instagram because of a torrent of vile comments.

Which is awful. It was a good charity and the book she highlighted seems to have been a success.
