The lack of an iron or anyone who can use one is jarring. I've looked like that in trousers on occasions where I've already worn them for a day, hence the thigh creases, and had to pull them on again in a hurry. The t shirt just hasn't been ironed or hung up to dry from the look of it. They must have no staff around and neither of them are aware of how it looks. 😬

Thedom · 25/02/2026 12:18

🤭🤭She won’t be happy about those photos, she looks all kinds of wrong, she can’t even kick a ball !!

it looks like Harry has forced her to kick it, ‘kick the effing ball Meg, if Catherine can do it, you can bloody well try ‘.

drivinmecrazy · 25/02/2026 12:18

I love the photo of Meghan taking a strike at the ball.
if she was hoping to emulate POW she’s sadly misguided.
I think, to be fair, that was an awful photo because it will undoubtedly be shown against POW on her sporting engagements

bluedancingtwiglet · 25/02/2026 12:19

Sophie in appropriate wear. Not flashy, not current ( some would say) but appropriate

Never mind the clothes! , I’d like to know exactly what they are doing there?
and exactly why they thought a trip to the Middle East at this time was a good idea?
and why with all the criticism flying around, nobody else seems to think this is a problem!

AtIusvue · 25/02/2026 12:32

Well I for one, hope that she gets an invite to the MET this year…..can you imagine what she would turn up in!

That picture! Deary me, the fox has mange! 🦊

😂

AtIusvue · 25/02/2026 13:04

Same trousers now on a hospital visit. Not sure how hygienic that is if you’ve been playing sports?

Meg stop changing your hairstyle and change those bloody trousers!

Could you think of a worse photo of the pair of them? I will not accept their wedding photo 😂

Aside from the creases, which I sympathise with as I only iron for funerals, weddings and job interviews, I don't think that is a bad outfit. Yes the trousers are too long but that seems to be the fashion.

Harry is really quite bald isn't he? I would not have thought to look if it hasn't been for his comments about William.

AtIusvue · 25/02/2026 13:36

Jordan is an interesting choice as Kate spent several years of her childhood there.

AtIusvue · 25/02/2026 13:44

An open-toe, heeled sandal in a hospital, really is an odd choice.

Looking at some of those photos I have seen here and in DM online , with apologies to Dorothy Parker , I think MM is running the gamut of her acting skills , from A to B . Though haven't seen the left tear yet. I just don't know why they are there (in any real sense. ) I suspect why they want to be there and I can see the publicity value but I'm a bit disappointed if the British Ambassador welcomed them. They aren't Royal and I'm not sure I've seen anything about this being a cause close them.

But "philanthropists" I suppose. 🤔(That's meant to be a chinny reckon )

Her toes are saying sabaah alkhair to the guy on the bed's toes 😂

BigWillyLittleTodger · 25/02/2026 11:35

Is she auditioning for clown school? The trousers look absolutely awful, honestly does she not own a mirror or an iron? and more to the point why are they there? Bizarre.

I am sure it is perfectly timed to pre-empt the next seasonal release of As Ever UPFs and tat.

Papercompany · 25/02/2026 15:41

Harry looks very thin on top.... I read Spare - it was awful how he described William's 'alarming hair line' in such mean, spiteful way. He must be alarmed about his own now?!

I think Megan is beautiful but those trousers are a very poor choice.

And I also don't understand why they are there? As a philanthropic gesture maybe? I have no doubt they could carry out their 'philanthropy' much closer to home...Travelyst anyone?

ShamedBySiri · 25/02/2026 15:57

They are so mischievous - I just think they do these things to thumb their noses at William, Charles and even to the UK Government. Behind the scenes you can be sure there is a security headache going on as they quietly scramble to assess risk and liaise with security forces in Jordan to ensure they are safe. I wonder how much notice they gave of their plans? They may not have the public protection that would be afforded by IPP status, but it will be going on in the background - imagine the diplomatic fall out if they were kidnapped or something, I'm not sure quite what point they are making with respect to Harry's demands for security but there will be one.

What I can't understand is how they wrangle these trips/meetings. Imagine, you are a top official at WHO, organising high level meetings to "shine a light" as they say or whatever. Scratch your head, who would be a good person to invite for publicity??? I can't say I take much notice of celebrity life so it's true I don't have any good suggestions but H&M definitely wouldn't be on the list. It wouldn't surprise me if there is some quiet shade being sent Trump's way, with the USA leaving the WHO. Maybe that's why they were invited.

bluedancingtwiglet · 25/02/2026 16:05

Jordan is perfectly safe.

Jbum · 25/02/2026 16:14

She seems appropriately dressed. If those are linen trousers then they will crease up when sitting down, given that they are been driven to these places then creases are inevitable.

Presumably there was no time scheduled in for an outfit change and why should there be? Most of us wesr the same outfit all day long. I doubt she was playing football to the point she was sweating alot 💁‍♀️

And well lots of people wear all sorts of footwear in hospitals even here in the UK so I dont see why its an odd choice. She isnt in some surgical operating theatre where a sterile environment is needed and the risk of hurting yourself by dropping something on open toes.

I think the khaki colours looked good.

Serenster · 25/02/2026 16:20

Meghan did get changed after her arrival, and again before visiting the hospital. And change her hairstyle too. So she had time built in to get changed twice (and the logisitics to do so too - I always wonder how that works!). She didn't change the trousers though.

bluegreygreen · 25/02/2026 16:25

I suspect they went because of the World Kitchen link, and because William was recently in the Middle East.

I'm disappointed in the UK ambassador comments (I think he'd have been better saying nothing).
I would also have preferred the BBC to report the Duchess of Edinburgh's visit to Somalia and Kenya. The work she does with charities who support women and girls who have been victims of abuse is important, and particularly topical at present.

No, people don’t wear all sorts of footwear in hospital. Unless it’s a Sat night in casualty…then no one is wearing open toed high heels.

And again no- people don’t visit sick people in hospital in an outfit that they’ve been playing sports in. That’s grim.
