I wonder if she is reacting to Harry throwing a bunch of journalists under the bus in his most recent testimony.

I think Harry going after Katie Nicholl has pissed off journalists who were otherwise sympathetic to him, like Tom Sykes. She's well respected and liked, and she's also recovering from what sounds like an horrific cancer experience.

binkie163 · 30/01/2026 13:48

Yes, apparently being a loyal press friend to harry doesn't count for anything when he is having a tantrum!
I doubt he can tell one journalist from another he just isn't interested in anyone but himself.

The way he spoke about the journalists who were at the events he was at made him sound like a sneering, conceited snob. From someone whose only remarkable accomplishment in life is the lottery of his birth.

I might give it a listen. I got fed up with the tone. I'm not against criticism where it is warranted but it was so pro Harry and anti the rest of the royals I felt it was unfair.

You've hit the nail on the head @MrsLeonFarrell

Given H's low polling in the UK it is likely the key audience which was fed up with the tone simply moved on to other podcasts/streamers with a more balanced view.

These journalists partied with H and had sufficient interactions with him to know just how awful H was while they were selling the "happy cheeky chappy" narrative.

IMHO, the program is chasing the audience versus some level of enlightenment on H's character...the team recalibrated its viewpoint based on viewer numbers and viewer feedback to make more money now that the "happy cheeky chappy" narrative has been blown out of the water by H himself with his persistent waaaaaggghhhing.

MrsLeonFarrell · 30/01/2026 15:40

On the rare occasions When it Hits the Fan talk about royals is far more balanced between criticism, advice and commentary based on what they did and said rather than excusing Harry because Charles not meeting him isn't a good look which is what Roya kept saying.

Rumour has it that the Times (and the Sun) have done a deal with Tom Bower to serialise his next book on the Sussexes.

Looking forward to reading it !

Looking forward to not reading it but getting the gist of it here 😀 I didn't know there was a royal board until the sentabale debacle, it wasn't covered over here in France so I looked on MN and found my tribe x

Who the frig wants jam for Valentine's Day? 😂

ThePoshUns · 31/01/2026 10:13

Well in B&M they have cleaning products plastered in hearts for Valentines so jam might be a step up. I wouldn’t be impressed mind.

Another PR faux pas? Or at least one that will cause comment:

Harry is giving a speech at the IAPP Global Summit on Privacy at the end of March.
IAPP Global Summit 2026

Interestingly his name is not included in the blurb paragraph about the speakers, but does appear below when giving a sentence of detail about each speaker.

Screengrabs in next post for those who don't want to follow the link - also some of Tom Sykes' comments (not all - I'm not a paid subscriber). I suspect there will be more from others closer to the time, hence my query in the first line.

Edited because posted early by mistake.

Looks fascinating actually, some very interesting speakers. Perhaps PH will listen to Alyson Stoner and take her advice on merching, commodifying and exploiting his own DCs, Archie and Lili without their consent on SM to flog UPF and tat for $$$$ via As Ever.

As Marina Hind said this week there are good reasons why you don’t see Zuckerberg and the rest of Silicon Valley shilling their kids online in public on SM.

Mylovelygreendress · 31/01/2026 14:44

I wonder if that event clashes with KC and QC’s state visit to the US ?

TheAutumnCrow · 31/01/2026 14:57

Harry is so far from being a ‘Humanitarian and Mental Health Advocate’ that I don’t know what to say. And online safety, harms and privacy? Feck off, Harry, you massive loathsome misogynistic hypocrite.

bluedancingtwiglet · 31/01/2026 18:24

How does he get these gigs? 🤷‍♀️

Atlanti · 31/01/2026 19:33

How does he get these gigs? 🤷‍♀️

It’s only because he will generate headlines and then raise the profile of the event - no one on that panel or any of the standard audience give any credibility to his words - but he draws attention to the other speakers so that’s the trade off.

Harry the renta talking head

Gets publicity for spouting nonsense for any cause

Spot on, Atlanti

WeightLossGoal2024 · 01/02/2026 00:30

So reading his keynote summary he’s going to give the same anti-social media speech he does all the time 🫢🫢🫢🫢

One trick pony……

MrMischief · 01/02/2026 00:58

Getting paid for spouting drivel is financial freedom. It’s lucrative. Saves relying on the Bank of Pa and it means big sausages instead of the smallest sausages.

Thedom · 02/02/2026 17:11

Meanwhile 6 years since he started Harry is still taking surfing lessons 😂

😂😂

ThePoshUns · 02/02/2026 18:12

🤣🤣

ShamedBySiri · 02/02/2026 19:18

It occurs to me that the Epstein stuff is going to run and run for some time meaning it will be challenging for Montecito PR to grab the front pages any time soon. Certainly not with any "feel good" stories. Nice try with the surfing though. Maybe if there was a photo of a preternaturally talented young lad doing impressive moves on a surfboard.

MrsFinkelstein · 02/02/2026 19:20

I have to admit when I saw that surfing video at first I automatically assumed it was AI - it just had that look about it.

It does look fake, but why do that, it would be stupid?

On the other hand what super skilled backwards surfing cameraperson is filming that?
